why3 - agree with you regarding the last post why Rad fails to confront Amma when she is alone.

I always think that she wants to run into Dev as soon as possible. But she fails to find strength to unshackle her bonds with the family who brought up her. It is not LOVE. It is OBLIGATION. How much time does it take to walk out of that room and tel Dev about amma trying to switch the bride. But her obligation made her helpless again. If Vishaka had not helped her, she would have accepted the Amma's atrocities as her fate. She is obligated to help Vishaka.

We all are highly optimistic about post-marriage development in Rad's character. But I doubt about that. She couldn't come out of Amma's shackle to become Dev's wife at first place. Dev's love will not change after marriage nor the Daadi's support after the marriage. It is at the paramount now. So I doubt if this marriage shift's Rad's priority after the marriage even though the moral support from Dev, Daadi and Shastriji remains as much as it is now. This marriage is not required for Rad to accept Dev as husband or Purohit family as her sasural. She already accepted that by heart.

Keeping Radhika weak against Amma helps story moving forward.
