hello all..This is my second attempt at writing and the first at a ff. And i chose to do it about AR as I am nuts about Armaan and miss him like crazy since he left. I hope you guys will forgive any mistakes that i make and give me suggestions as to how to improve it. I suck at describing things so, i do apologize for that in advance if things seem soo sudden.😳😳
"Why? does she have a boyfriend too?" Armaan asked.
"No actually, but she's off guys at the moment" Muskaan replied.
"Oh thats it? No worries. I know very well how to turn dislike in to love" Armaan smirked.
"Oh there she is, Riddhima!" Anjali called as she pointed at the direction of the door.
Taken Over by Love
What would you do when someone tries to get close to you after you are hurt?what would you do when someone tries to breach the defences that you have built around you? What would you do when you are taken over by love?
Character Sketch:
Riddhima Gupta- she was hurt in love before, therefore doesn't believe in it anymore. She has built a shell around herself and doesnt let anyone come close to her. Loves her family, parents and 2 sisters, but even they don't know her real feelings. She would pretend everything is alright, smile and laugh when inside she could be crying. Her family doesn't know the seriousness of her nature because all they see is her laughter and love.
Anjali Gupta- elder sister to Riddhima and Muskaan. Adores Atul, her husband-to-be. Adores her family.
Muskaan Gupta- Youngest in the family. Loves Rahul, her boyfriend.
Shashank and Padma Gupta- Parents of Anjali, Riddhima and Muskaan.
Atul Joshi- Anjali's fiance. Very much in love with her. Loves his future saalis as well. A very very good friend of Armaan.
Armaan Malik- To the outside world, he is the ultimate flirt who plays around with his father's money. But in reality, he is very hardworking and caring, though the flirting part is true. Has a short temper but quickly forgives. He is loved by everybody and is a charmer who loves to tease.

"U idiot!!!!" he shouted. " Look where u're going!!! ruined my armaani shirt!! n what if it had gotten on my skin!!!!" And he continued on...
whoa! I thought. What was his problem? and that poor waiter. All he did was accidently spill some juice on that guy. I mean, mistakes do happen. We are human beings after all. But, i guess not that guy who's shouting at the waiter. You'd think he was royalty the way he's going on and on about it still.
"that's Armaan Malik." A girl next to me wispered. "His father owns this hotel." Oh that explained it. Spoilt rich brat. I hate people like that. No heart just a big fat wallet that speaks for them.Not taking people's feelings into account. Only for a little spill, he's biting that waiter's head off.Just thinking about how his stupid armaani shirt is ruined and not how that poor waiter is quaking in his shoes. So afraid that his job might be gone coz he had angered the boss's son. Poor guy.I really wish I can give him a piece of my mind. The jerk!
hmm.. Now the commotion is dying down and that Armaan guy left.. maybe I should get a move on too. After all, I came into the lobby looking for a washroom to go and freshen up. That thought brought me back to why We are here today.

Today is my elder sister, Anjali's engagement.It is a very happy occasion for us. We had thought that she would never find love. She is such a workacoholic. All that was important to her were her career and ambitions. In her race to get to the top, she had forgotten to fall in love.Now im making her sound like a cold-hearted witch. She's not at all like that. She is a sweetheart with her family. She cares about us a lot and we are
a very close-knit family. But what with her being so busy all the time, guys and dates were terms that were not in her dictionary.

So finally, my parents put their foot down. My dad, shashank Gupta, is a pretty laid back guy. He has always let us 3 three sisters live our lives the way we want to. But Anjali's marriage was one thing he would not compromise on. And my mother, Padma, agreed. Her being very traditional ( you know how girls have to get married before they are too old,,blah..blah..) and my dad being afraid that Anjali would end up alone in life after she had reached the top, they had finally looked for
proposals for her.

And finally, after all that horoscope matching, etc. they had found a guy. Atul, he is such a sweetheart. He is an engineer, same as my sister, and I think that's why she even agreed to consider him. And after getting to know each other a bit, they fell in love.
Now, looking at them, you'd never think that this was an arranged marriage. They are always soo lost in each other, its an amazing sight. I had given up finding love and the right guy after a couple of relationships went sour, but looking at them, they make me want to believe in love again. Almost make me want to come out of the shell that I am hiding under and put myself out there. But only, almost.. since I know that this will never happen.

Anwyays, we are at this beautiful hotel to celebrate Anjali and Atul's engagement. They had always referred to each other as fiance and fiancee but today is the the day they would become that officially. While the party is just getting started, I wanted to come and freshen up, after all, I had being in this getup since morning..Oh..there is the washroom.

Armaan entered the The Blue reception hall after changing. Thank god he always kept extra clothes in his office..Stupid careless idiot. What if that liquid had gotten on his skin. Well..there was no point being upset over it now. Just look for Atul, he told him self. Ah..there he is. Man he really is smitten
with his fiancee. Look at him sticking to her like fevicol.. ..hahhaha..

"Hey Atul!"he called leading to the table where Atul sat with Anjali and another girl.
Atul looked up and his smile widened, if that was possible since he was looking at his wife-to-be with such a huge smile.
"Armaan!! Finally. Come and meet my beautiful fiancee, Anjali" Atul said after he hugged Armaan.
Armaan went to Anjali, took her hand and slightly kissed it. "Oh man, Anjali, why didnt I meet you first. I am heartbroken now, I cant believe this monkey Atul got himself such a beautiful wife" Armaan added in his usual flirtatious manner.
"At least tell me you have a sister!" he said with a fake pout.
Anjali smiled prettily. "Actually I have two, and here is one of them. Muskaan, meet Armaan, a very good friend of Atul. I'm sure u've heard about him a lot,"Anjali giggled. "As whatever Atul says starts with Armaan and ends with Armaan."
"really," Armaan added, "these days, it seems like everything Atul talks about revolves around you Anjali" he teased. Then he turned to Muskaan, a beauty with long curly hair, wearing a pink saree, a nice contrast to the dark blue that Anjali is wearing.
"Oh, another beauty in the family. This must be my lucky
day! Muskaan darling, will you marry me" he added, turning up his flirtation a notch.

Muskaan seemed a bit shaken, gazing up at him stunned. Oh man..what did i do. I really hope she's a girl who can take a joke. Otherwise, Atul will hunt me down with a knife for hitting on his saali.
Then Muskaan laughed. A very loud laugh that he's sure turned many heads to their table. She said "Oh Armaan, Im sorry to break your heart again. But I have a boyfriend, Rahul."
"Oh not again", Armaan said clutching his heart and pretending hearbreak. All of them laughed at his antics.
Then Atul said. "you know Armaan, I have another saali. But I really doubt you'll get anywhere with her"

Armaan turned & stopped in his tracks. He couldn't take his eyes off the goddess that came walking through the door of the hall. She was wearing a yellow saree with gold jewellery. A small smile on her face teasing her lips. And her eyes. Wow. Is that a trick of make up, or are those sparkly things really her
eyes.They were a light brown. A bit dark to be Hazel but with little dust of gold in them. Its amazing how he can tell what the colour of her eyes are from this distance.And her hair, that luxurious black length only added to her beauty. She was looking here and there, not straight ahead, greeting acquaintances but heading towards their table.And he knew, with every little step that she took towards their table, she was making her way to his heart.
