Can I just repeat my Armie's super popular dialogue - Hey , Good Lookin', what's cooking?đł.....actually , it sorta applies to YuNa and Mac going by today's episode.
So, Yuvi truly is the son of shadows, eh? He has too many grey areas in his life and I like the way they are being revealed layer by layer .....and his partner in shadows , a die hard frenemy is Mac , a resident of Yuvi's other life - dark, dangerous and thrilling. And in these murky waters , steps the our delicate livewire Naina. Dicey? Are you kidding me?... it is FATAL.
I really liked the way the whole Yuvi-Naina-Mac and the henchmen sequence was shot. Good shots , cool acting and awesome editing. Mac did create the smooth bad boy talker impact well, quite well. He seriously loves Yuvi and loves to hate him ... loves to compete with him. Happens .Sometimes you share the most complicated but obsessive relationship with your enemy and that way the Yuvi-Mac equation worked... and worked in their first scene. We had Yuvi easily slip into the garb of a ruffian from a responsible and bright intern. And some of his fast lane life unveiled as well. Impressive. đđđ
And in the middle of this man-to-man talk which I think was very engaging as we saw a frenemy from the past trying to make inroads into Yuvi's present smooth life ... into this stepped Naina who looked absolutely stunning by the way alongwith Jiggy tagging along. The girl seriously doesn't use her head , right? Especially when it comes to Yuvi. Her senses go for a swing. đ......Which woman has the guts and stupidity to land in a bunch of rogues and ruffians looking like a Vogue cover? Well, Naina Mehta does the honours here....
Men will be men and that too ruffians. They had to misbehave with Naina owing to their cheap lecherous nature. Yuvi looked angry enough to kill Naina there and then but he had to play saviour angel to her right now. I liked the way Yuvi's fists clenched as Mac's men encircled Naina.... restraint , restraint , composure , composure. Yuvi had no intentions to fight or create a scene and he controlled himself as much as he could.... Mac perhaps saw the connection between Yuvi -Naina... and rubbed it in by saying that Naina was the reason that Yuvi did not want to risk his life by racing?đ.... And the final straw was Mac and his men 'ITEMIZING' Naina... that did it! Yuvi told Mac to shut up and knocked senses off a ruffian for just raising his hand to touch Naina. Anger , yes. Lose Control? No. Yuvi stopped Mac by putting his hand down but did not hit him. Yuvi does have a temper of a hurricane but he can control and maneuver it when he wants.
And of course , the adorable but equally heartbreaking moment. It was beautiful the way Yuvi took Naina by her arm and made her stand behind him.....Telling Mac and his men that they can't even think of touching Naina. She is his girlfriend. The look on Naina's face was priceless - shock , vulnerability and emotional submission rolled into one. Neha Jhulka portrayed Naina's look of shock-cum-butterfly land beautifully as she looked at Yuvi with the most vulnerable and innocent expression in the world. Lovely! Even though Yuvi lied for the sake of Naina's dignity , this lie was music to Naina's ears.... Yuvi , even though very grey , has such a protective side to him that you feel like hugging him when he stands up for the meek and the helpless. And it is adorable when our firebrand Naina turns into a lamb and finds comfort and protection in Yuvi's proximity. It really is a strange love story... and maybe that is why we like it. đł
Anyway , returning from La La Land , Mac has managed to entice , challenge , blackmail , manipulate Yuvi into racing with him again. Adrenaline rush, huh? What can we say.... boys will be boys and men will be men . There is no logic to that , sweeties.
Tomorrow, Yuvi surely is going to bash up Naina for taking such an insane risk and some caustic spray regarding the whole boyfriend-girlfriend thing. He surely looked furious , both with Mac and Naina. ... Jiggy to pitega hi. Naina is like his younger sister , right? He should have stopped Naina. Poor Jiggy.
I hope all this is not a set up by Yuvi and Mac to bowl Naina over. But even that would be quiet a twist , peepz. Good writing.
P.S- Neha and Sehban look great together and more than that their natural chemistry rocks their scenes. đ... and Ali fits the role of Mac quite well. He does have chemistry with Sehban. Good job.
