The Evolution of a Beautiful Relationship

Hi, guys, this is my first post to the YRKKH forum! I have been following the threads for the past couple of months and I love your comments. Great analysis and wonderful comic relief!

I was watching some of my favorite episodes of YRKKH today (Youtube zindabad!) and I couldn't help but smile at how Akshara and Naitik's relationship has evolved. The chemistry between these two has always been palpable--be it in the first meeting, first date, and some of my other favorites including the April 3rd episode where Naitik meets Akshara at college, and also the April 7th episode when he punctures the tire and drops her home (there is one scene in that epi where he gives her books back to her and looks at her--wow, that look is killer!) When I watched these old scenes in the context of what happened on Monday and Tuesday, it is so wonderful to see how far Akshara and Naitik have come. Kudos to Karan and Hina for completely getting into character and emoting at the level that is required for a true physical, emotional relationship. It is so amazing that two newcomers were/are able to do this--their dedication and professionalism to their craft shows in every episode.

Guys, keep up the good work! My hubby does not speak a lick of Hindi so you all are my connection to wonderful "hinglish" and the motherland! I also love your use of the emoticons

Hi Anjali, welcome to the forum :) ur very right....their relationship has truely evolved...Akshara from a shy docile girl who couldn't even look at Naitik in the first meeting, finally she opened up in front of him, kissed him & said i love you, that was a real treat for our eyes...physical intimacy was required to break the ice between them....they have taken their relationship to the next level, as expected :) i'm veryyy happy with the way yrkkh progressed, although i got bit scared during their marriage when the thaali's made noise , but they've balanced everything nicely & i hope they continue to do so in future...

Haanh, sach mein I hope these creatives don't mess up the storyline for these lovebirds. Sure relationships have their ups and downs, but please let it be more ups from here on out (haven't we had enough of MUs for a lifetime?). Hopefully, the story evolves to show that the physical intimacy brings a new level of trust and understanding...

u know my biggest fear is what naitik was saying yest....abh it's TOO early for them , they must enjoy this time to the fullest..abhi they have their pending honeymoon also...BUT i'll be heartbroken if EVER they show tht boredom has set in their relationship....this might be a fact for majority of couples but i dun want to watch nything like tht b/w Naksh ..for pure selfish reasons....therez an exitement for every new thing..Naitik was so exited abt his marriage, abt the thought tht Akshara will be with him..now they've formed this new bond....i just want their relationship to stay as it is..and Naitik really does something all his life so keep his relationship fresh for both of them...and they never get bored of each other 😍

This relationship is probably the only reason I watch this & only this serial...there is an element of reality and a level that you can relate to with ones own life and I'm sure there are a few whose life can totally fit in the character of Akshara and Naitik....and for their maritial eveloution I totally attribute this to the culture and values that our parents have raised us with....and it is depicted here with such beauty...the gradual growth and progress is very important in every relationship and even though this might seem very filmy, it does happen in every relationship however good or bad it is...

Thats why I kept saying that Akshara is in love with Naitik, even though she was not ready to admit it, coz actions and reactions speak louder than words. Those feelings are from inside and she was doing excatly that. He is still a stranger to her....all she knows yet is that he likes tea with biscuits and 1 spoon of sugar...she has so much to learn and thats what a marriage is all about....kudos to the concept and the execution of the concept....my only complaint comes when they deviate from the main leads but ofcourse the serial cant be just about them right...

she knows a lot more things about him..but he doesn't 😃 Akshara will surely bring hersef at par with Naitik..and i wud love to watch it...they always showed tht boys have upper hand (in yrkkh), they're forgiven before they do any mistake but that's not the case with DIL....I wud love to watch Naitik bringing about that change in his family's thinking...

Hi, Ritu, you hit the nail on the head about why this show appeals to so many people! I started watching this show because of Naitik and this character's similarity to my own husband jab we met 12 years ago-sweet, yet impulsive, confident yet immature. Not to mention Naitik's cuteness! I also fully agree on your point about Akshara being in love, and that actions and reactions speak louder than words...for me this was beautifully illustrated when Naitik touched her face, really for the first time, and her physical reaction to that touch...that was the essence of that scene for me! Hina, Karan and the creatives portrayed it beautifully..
