I always wondered why, if Mrin is going to have an affair, she would choose someone as unattractive and goofy as doofus Arjun. If she is going to go through the trouble of sneaking around to cheat on her spouse, couldn't she at least find someone better looking? She is not unattractive herself (other than her facial expressions, which can easily be changed). I'm sure she could have her pick of suitors with those provocative saris she likes to wear.

I think Sushil actually has every intention of seducing Mrin, the way he is always flaunting his manly chest hair, not unlike a woman wearing a low cut dress.

I wrote this before elsewhere: Dadi has a perplexing and unhealthy obsession with Dev that completely overshadows her fondness for anyone else in the family. Hate to say it but I think the idea behind Vivek's story is that he is wheelchair-bound and therefore worthless as a human being. It is obvious that Dadi is far more concerned with Dev than her poor disabled son who is married to a trampy witch. Maybe they thought he just can't do any better than Mrinali. Although this too makes no sense as they were probably better off getting some sacrificial lamb like Radhika as Vivek's wife. Well isn't that a good moral anecdote: Disabled people are incapable of leading a fulfilling and happy life. Nice.

At least he is aware of Mrinali and Arjun's affair unlike that twit Deepika.

In many ways I do not blame Mrin. I mean even if she did give Vivek love and care she probably still wouldn't get any respect from the rest of the family, who is so bizarrely hung up on Dev and the speculative choti bahu. Even before they knew who Radhika or Vishaka were, Dadi and Vaishali would close their eyes and daydream about their choti bahu. Pretty odd if you ask me.

Deepika is so oblivious to the wrong doings of the trio and is always in a world of her own. She's like a little puppet. Although I feel that she has no real use in his series! Unless something develops of her character in the 1200000th episode 😡 Every serial has an idiot villian...and this is Arjun!
