heer is the strongest female romantic character ever played that i have seen. i never expected a girl who is from a conservative family, who is not very highly educated to have such strong conviction in her love. the thing about heer that i have never seen in any other female character -- ever! written stories, plays or movie stories -- who
owns her lover like heer does. heer owned prem from the beginning of the story.
and i don't mean that prem acted like she owned him -- she acted like she owned him -- heart, body, soul. i found that very unusual. and i loved that from the bottom of my heart.
everything about heer, her actions, her reactions, her words, her thoughts was focussed on loving prem -- and that i have never seen in any other lover. and although heer is someone that i could never be, that i don't think i ever want to be š, the truth of the matter is that i am proud of her. she made me see how a traditional conservative girl can still be strong -- and i love that.
but if this is the ag fan club, i guess i must say that i like ag too. i really think she has played heer
brilliantly. she was working in a situation of a female lead who had very few lines against a male lead who used to have all the brilliant lines -- and yet, she came across as a perfect heer. heer who owned prem. she is incredible.
not withstanding the fact that in her real life, she comes across as the complete contrast of heer! ag is ... like us. she is real. plain-speaking. absolutely no airs. and ... she totally rocks.
i'm a phan -- of both heer and ag. and what is weird that i never expected to be! š
