Part 1
The episode begins with Chachaji looking at the chandrahaar and saying maiyya mori,wah shastriji, aapne toh kamal kar diya, itna mehnga haar laaye hain (great shastriji, such an expensive necklace you bought).He asks Dadi to look, Dadi smiles and everyone else is surprised. Chachaji says it looks like you will not leave any stone unturned in matching the Purohit family, but how much ever you try you can never match upto the Purohit parivaar. He gives it to Vivek. Dadi thanks Shastriji for honoring their old custom and says now we will offer the Kuldevi this necklace and pray that noone casts an evil eye on our children's happiness and wait for the day when Radhika enters our house as the Choti Bahu. Vaishali and Amma don't seem happy. Dadi blesses Radhika and says see how I take you as my Choti Bahu with all the pomp and grandeour. Shastriji tells Dadi all your orders will be honored, I promise you that this wedding will be done well. Mrinalini makes faces, and then everyone leaves. Radhika looks scared and upset.
As soon as they leave, Amma starts screaming, where did you get such an expensive necklace? You think if you don't tell me, I will not come to know? I refused to sell the house and so you sold the family idols? You sold God? Shastriji turns to Amma and says I did not sell God, I just sold what God gave me, his faith gave me, I sold my punya/good deeds. Amma is shocked, so is Devki and Radhika. Amma screams choti harkat ko bade bade shabdon main dakhne ki koshish na kar lalla (don't try to cover up small acts in big words). You have sinned, and that too for this unfortunate girl? Amma goes to Radhika and says would you like such a wedding where your father is being sold in its preparation? Radhika looks at Shastriji. Amma says soch kya rahi hai, baap ko bechke byaah karegi(what are you thinking, you will sell your father and get married?) Radhika goes to Shastriji and says Amma is right, I cannot see you suffer for my wedding, I do not want to do such a marraige where you are losing everything, where you have to sell yourself.

Shastriji looks at Radhika and says I am not doing anything new, every father of this country wants that his daughter's wedding is done well, whatever he has earned his whole life he donates to the wedding. Your father had only his deeds, if someone valued them, I couldn't say no and sold them. Radhika says whatever you say, I don't want to get married. Amma pounces on Radhika and says aadmi apne punya ke dham pe hi jeeta hai(a man lives on the basis of his good deeds), in our puranas, this is written. Amma goes to Devki and says now that he has sold his punyas, God knows what will happen, calamity will come.
Radhika is sitting in front of her Kanha and crying saying you gave me happiness by giving my father sadness? Because of me my father is unhappy, the cause of his hardship is my wedding. Amma is right, in a wedding that my father is selling himself, how can I do this wedding and be happy? How do I explain to father and stop him? He says Babuji must be releived, one more function took place nicely, see I am doing all the talking, you aren't saying anything. Radhika says I want to talk to you, Dev says tell me. Radhika says not on the phone. Dev sits up on his sofa and says what, you want to meet me and talk to me? ok I will leave now. Radhika says no not now, tomorrow at the ghaat. Dev says ok I will leave and reach in 2 hours, Radhika says listen, please come carefully, don't drive too fast. Dev says ok now I will do whatever you wish. Next morning, Dev opens his closet and is trying to decide what to wear. He dreams Radhika is in the mirror and asks her what shirt to wear. She chooses a white shirt, he then wears a white jacket over it and jeans. He comes down the stairs, Birju starts teasing and saying you are smiling like you are an ad for a toothpaste company, I know where you are going, say hi to Radhika. Dev is driving and dreaming of Radhika and their moments. Radha rani laage is playing. He stops to get roses, he dreams of his dream where he makes her wear bangles.
Part 3
Shastriji is getting ready, Devki asks him why you are taking so much hardhip, this is the first time you cannot go to temple. I don't know how much money this wedding will cost but you are paying a big price. Shastriji says God is a miracle worker, he knows my helplessness and therefore he showed me the way. Shastriji says I have to leave and go to Daksha's house and start the jhaaps and my Kanha is there also. Shastriji leaves. He reaches the Daksha's house. Munishi greets him and says I was worried because you were 10 minutes late and I was wondering if you would come. I know the town's reaction to the idols disappearing, but please do not pay atetntion to them, they are your idols, why pay attention to the people of Vrindavan. Shastriji says they did not come in between, right now I came in between them and their God. I am giving away my punyas but I do not know how much it will help anyone, that only God knows. Shastriji starts his jhaap.
Dev is sitting on the ghaat playing the flute, Radhika comes there. He looks back and smiles at her (amazing smile, amazing!) Dev walks away, Radhika is thinking why can't you understand what I cannot say? Dev thinks why do I have to explain to you again and again, why aren't you understanding? Radhika thinks so much love and care you gave me but when I needed you the most, you are leaving me. Dev looks back and thinks I had come with so much hope that I could talk a few words of love with you but by saying all this, you hurt my heart Radhika. Dev walks away and while he is driving he is thinking of what Radhika saying (simple wedding or no wedding) Dev stops by the side of the road and calls Vivek. Vivek asks where he is, Dev is in Vrindavan. Vivek says after meeting her you should sound happy, what's wrong. Dev says today for the first time, I had a fight with her. Vivek asks what happened.Dev says she wants a simple wedding, she should understand why we want a big wedding, because we are so happy, Dadi is happy that Choti Bahu is coming to the house. Everyone is happy, my wishes are being fulfilled. Vivek says don't worry, this is not a fight, just disagreements and this increases love. The other villager says no use telling anything, these people are dongis/conmen. He smiles and calls her name and runs towards her. Radhika turns around and sees him and then thinks he should not know the idols have disappeared or he will ask. Radhika runs away, Dev follows. Dev says I shouldn't have left without understanding. I think that every girl wants to have a grand wedding but you do not want this, you have a reason behind this. I want to know the reason, tell me what is the reason? Radhika sees women behind her whispering and thinks if they ask about the murtis, he will come to know, what do I do? Radhika says aap yahan se chale jayiye (please go from here). Radhika walks away Dev says but...he is surprised but follows her. Radhika goes to a flower vendor and says aunty, please give me a basket of flowers. Dev watches her from the side and is standing in front of a bangle store. Dev stares at Radhika from the side and then comes and gives her bangles. She looks at the bangles and smiles shyly. She puts up her hand for him to put the bangles in, he slowly puts them on her wrist and says I knew the sound of these bangles will bring a smile to your face. She looks at him smiling and then Dev realises he is dreaming.
He then sees Radhika buy the flowers and goes towards her with a full bunch of bangles and says Radhika, yeh tumhare liye (this is for you). She looks at him, he says main kya karoon, mujhe theek se manane bhi nahi aata(what to do, I don't even know how to pacify you properly). Dev says you have never been upset with me, you are upset with me for the first time and this is the first time I am pacifying you. (Dev looks adorable in this scene!). The villagers are whispering nearby and Radhika sees it. Radhika says please leave from here, Dev asks why, Radhika says I humbly request you to leave. She leaves from there, he tries to stop her.
Part 6
Dev comes back home and is perplexed and wondering at what happened. Dadi comes by and asks where he was from morning, Dev says I had gone to Vrindavan. Dadi says wow, everyone here feels Vrindavan is very far from here and you, for every little thing you go there? I must say your love has given you lots of strength. Dev looks sad, Dadi sees that and asks him what happened, why a shadow on this moon like face? Dev says Dadima, Radhika had called me to say she wants a simple and straightforward wedding. Dev says I tried to explain to her why we want a grand wedding but she didn't understand. After that, even I got a little angry and....Dadi says and you too had a disagreement, right? Dadi says a woman has to manage a lot of relationships- sister, daughter, mother, lover, wife, and when two relationships collide, that relationship wins which is the oldest. In Vrindavan, Shastriji comes home and sits and asks for tea. Amma closes the door and says I do not want to say anything, you must have heard what everyone has been saying. Amma says see soon everyone will start insulting, then sit by yourself. Shastriji asks where Radhika is, she says Radhika is in her room sewing. Suddenly there is knock on the door and Amma says see again someone is come to tell us 100 things. Shastriji goes to open the door and it is Dev. Shastriji says aap (you?) Shastriji says so late here, is everything ok? Dev says yes, I have a request. Devki and Shastriji invite him in, he sits down. Dev has two red boxes in his hand. Dev says I want this wedding to be a very simple straightforward wedding,(meanwhile Radhika comes out of her room and hears this and smiles), Dev says no big fuss, ko spending. Amma and Devki are happy and smiling. Shastriji says Daamad Babu, I know why you are saying this, I am very unfortunate to have a son-in-law like you but even I have wishes and dreams about this wedding, why are you denying me of my wishes? Once Shastriji closes the door, Amma says why are you doing so much, God sent a solution at the door, that too you returned. Radhika says please agree to what he said, get the murtis back. Shastriji says I have taken a decision and going back from it is not me. There is another knock at the door and thus time it is the Panchayat. The panch head says I have come here as a member of the Panchayat, by removing the murtis, you have hurt the religious sentiments of the people, that's why tomorrow morning you will have to appear before the Panchayat. Everyone is looking at the Panchayat worried.
Precap: Two people are in dev's house telling Dev that in Vrindavan, a brahmin stole two idols from the temple. Dadi, Dev and Vaishali are stunned. The two people continue, if there is no meeting on this then every resident will do similar misdeeds.

Dev looks sad, Dadi sees that and asks him what happened, why a shadow on this moon like face? Dev says Dadima, Radhika had called me to say she wants a simple and straightforward wedding. Dev says and I got angry instead of understanding her, what have I done Dadi...Dadi removes the car keys from his pocket and puts it in front of his face and says gaadi sambhalke chalana (drive the car carefully). Dev smiles and takes the keys and hugs and kisses her and says bye.
In Vrindavan, Shastriji comes home and sits and asks for tea. Amma closes the door and says I do not want to say anything, you must have heard what everyone has been saying. Amma says see soon everyone will start insulting, then sit by yourself. Shastriji asks where Radhika is, she says Radhika is in her room sewing. Amma and Devki are happy and smiling. Dev tries to stop him, but shastriji says listen to me, I will not spend unnecessarily.

My wish is to make this wedding proper, I will only spend as much as needed, please don't worry. Radhika comes out and says please agree father, this much expense. Shastriji says Radhika I know this is not you but a daughter speaking but please think from a father's point of view as well. Dev looks at Radhika. Shastriji says can a father get his daughter married without any festivity, will this look appropriate? Radhika looks down, Amma says there is a limit to preparations, Shastriji says leave the limit of preparations to me, don't worry. Dev says I don't know why I am not able to convince you, from my side or from my family's side you will not get any complaints. Shastriji folds his hands and says this is your magnanimity. Dev then says I will leave now, Shastriji asks him to stay for dinner but he says he has to leave or Dadi will be worried. Then Dev takes the boxes and tells Shastriji I bought these (he stares at radhika who looks down) for Radhika. Shastriji smiles and looks at Radhika. Dev puts the boxes down and leaves.
Once Shastriji closes the door, Amma says why are you doing so much, God sent a solution at the door, that too you returned. Radhika says please agree to what he said, get the murtis back. Shastriji says I have taken a decision and going back from it is not me. There is another knock at the door and thus time it is the Panchayat. The panch head says I have come here as a member of the Panchayat, by removing the murtis, you have hurt the religious sentiments of the people, that's why tomorrow morning you will have to appear before the Panchayat. Everyone is looking at the Panchayat worried.
Precap: Two people are in dev's house telling Dev that in Vrindavan, a brahmin stole two idols from the temple. Dadi, Dev and Vaishali are stunned. The two people continue, if there is no meeting on this then every resident will do similar misdeeds.
