Part 1
The episode begins with Shastriji taking the sankalp of putting his temple idol in Daksh's house. The Munshi says from today all your daughter's wedding costs will be Dalsk's responsibility, just get the idol here and start the jhaap.Meanwhile Radhika drops Dev to his car, Dev says I do not feel like leaving you. Dev says let's do one thing, let's get married tomorrow in the temple. Radhika says how is it possible, your family is making a lot of preparations for the wedding and my father is so anxious for the wedding and he wants to do every ritual whole heartedly. Dev says itna intezaar karte karte meri jaan hi (waiting for so long, my life)...suddenly Radhika covers his mouth to stop him from completing the sentence. Dev looks at her and she at him and slowly removes her hand. Dev smiles and says when shall we meet again? Radhika says I don't know, Dev says you are coming for the Phool/Phal daan rasam right, Radhika shyly says no, a bride does not go to her in laws place before the wedding. Dev says ok, I will tell my family to do this rasam at your place, then atleast I can see you. Radhika breaks into a smile, Dev says one minute, the way you smiled just now, smile again. Saying this he removes his cell phone to click her picture. Dev says main iss pal ko rok to nahi sakta par is pal jis tarah tum muskura rahi ho, main hamesha yaad rahoonga.(I cannot stop this moment but will always remember the way you smiled). They both look at each other.
Suddenly Amma comes out of the house and screams sadak pe hi khadee rahegi chori? (will you be waiting on the streets only?) Both Radev look at her. Amma keeps chanting Radhe Krishna Radhe Krishna and goes back in. Radhika says please take care and drive and once you reach....Dev says don't worry I will call once I reach. Radhika watches Dev drive away, she smiles at him, he keeps looking back and driving.
Part 2
Dev is driving when he sees Shastriji on the road walking. He stops and goes to meet him. Dev sees that Shastriji is not ok, he asks him what happened. Dev says you must be worried about the wedding preparations, please ask me for any help, I am like your son. Shastriji says may God everyone a son like you, but don't worry all the preparations will be done. If needed I will definitely ask you. Dev says ok. Shastriji says the wedding will happen nicely, Dev offers Shastriji a lift but he refuses saying he has to go to the baniya to do some wedding work. Dev bids goobye and leaves.Next morning, Amma is served tea by Devki, she asks Devki does it look nice when Daamad Babu comes to meet his saali(sis in law) like this? Both Radhika and Devki look at Amma. Devki says Dev Babu toh damad babu ki pat..mera matlab hai hone wali patni hai (she is his wife...i mean going to be wife). Amma says she is going to be his wife, not his wife already. Devki meanwhile asks Radhika if Shastriji came home and left again. Radhika says he hasn't returned since a while. Amma says Lalla is gone mad, he is sacrificing his life for this wedding and trying to shine this unfortunate girl's fortune with gold and silver, when this girl touches something, even an expensive stone will turn into coal, is it necessary to spend so much on this girl's wedding? Devki motions for Radhika to go inside. Amma screams yes everyone shut their ears, tomorrow when my words come true, then don't come to touch my feet.
Shastriji comes home all upset, Devki and Amma look at him. Devki says you got late, he just goes and sits down. Devki asks if any arrangements were made, he is still quite. Devki brings water, he drinks it but is quiet. Devki talks about some relative who cannot help, Amma looks on. Part 3
Dev reaches home and runs up the stairs, he is stopped by Dadi who says Dev...Dev comes down and says Dadima.. Dadima asks angrily where did you go without telling? Dev says now don't get angry but I went to meet my Dream girl. Dadi says aise shaadi se pehle ladki se milna nahi chalega(you cannot meet the girl before marraige). Dev says Dadi don't say nahi chalega, it was emergency,it is ok. Dadi asks what emergency, let me also hear. Dev says I had to find out about her choices, i don't even know her favorite color, Dadi says you could have found out earlier, now you will get punishment. Dev says punishment, what punishment. Dadi says murga bano(be a chicken). Dev is confused then they both laugh and Dev says main kaise bhoolon ki shararat main aap meri dadi hain (how do I forget that in naughtiness you are my grandma). They hug. Dadi says for the past few months we had were so anxious, God returned our smiles.
Dadi asked if Dev met Shastriji, she asks if he was upset. Dev says yes but how do you know. Dadi says I told him of offering the Chandrahaar to our Kuldevi, I know this must be difficult for him. Dev asks what if we help him? Dadi says no son, Shastriji is a self made man, he will be upset and ofcourse there is your uncle to taunt us if we do anything. Dev says you are right but why did we put this burden on him. Dadi says it is an old ritual that we have to follow, last time we didn;t do it and how much trouble we had to bear. Dev nods. Dadi says but not to worry, he has served God so much, God will certainly come to his aid, don't worry.
At night, Radhika is talking to Kanha saying that all this feels like a dream, you gave so much happiness that I cannot encompass it all, I do not know in how many words to thank you. Shastriji walks by and overhears. Radhika tells Kanha that it feels like you are are giving me the fruits of my prayers all at once. Radhika prays and says I have just one request Kanha and noone's evil eye comes on this happiness. Shastriji watches Radhika pray. Next morning in the temple, Shastriji looks at the temple idol. Radhika walks in and asks if he is ok. Shastriji says he is ok, I just felt like looking at God for a while. I will be here a while.
Part 4
Shastriji tells Radhika to go, Radhika leaves. Govind Gopal Radhe Radhe starts playing. Shastriji goes to remove the idol but his hands are trembling and he falls to the ground crying and says no how do I move you to that house, I cannot do this God, I cannot do this.
Meanwhile Munshi is making preparations to get the temple ready. A servant asks if it is a happy occasion, he says yes now onwards there will only be happiness in the house like the old days, this day will be remembered. Suddenly someone announces that Shastriji has come. Munshi goes to the door and sees Shastriji has bought the idols to the house. He removes the covering (idols were covered in red cloth) and Shastriji lights starts the ceremony to install the idols in the house. He does puja for the idols and he prays. After the pujs, he offers the aarti to everyone. Munshi says you have kept your word, we will keep ours, all the stresses due to your daughter's wedding are gone, do the wedding with full pomp and grandeur. Shastriji looks on.
Precap: Vaishali is crying in front of her husband's photo and says if Radhika is from another caste and Dev's son is called varnasakar, then what will happen to our Rajpurohit lineage, should I look at the smiling child's face or this lineage that will end with this wedding.
