Hello every one

Do you think walk out staged by singers recently can affect their career in long term....?? OR it doesn't matter. Alfter all what matters today is the right connection.
As far we peole are concerned we have a very short memory & we shall forget about this in next 6 months.
Do you remember examples from past where controversial singers have been denied work...?
What is your opinion...??

No it doesn't affect ones career.Lataji in the peak of her career had snubbed many singers, included her own sister. These contestants are only 17 and Debo isn't their relative. At the end of the day this is a contest and everybody is here to win, people in the industry have seen far worse crimes being committed to be affected by walkout.

I dont think that it will effect them but this shows that the seeds of unprofessionalism are being sown in them from an early age. They do not have the guts to accept lows..

Well Varshaji
I think their career will be affected in a certain way. The only person who might survive because of talent is Hema, but even he'll have difficulty in Bollywood.
They are kids who played in the hand of their mentors, but will pay with heavy price.

I think it could affect their chances to become successful with the music directors. When you start thinking you are the best then, your attitude changes which does not help u with the music directors who have a lot of choices now in singers.
I remember in the 70's there was a singer called Jaspal Singh who got to sing some songs for 'GEET GATA CHAL' and the songs became hits and a couple of newspapers said that he was the next Rafi. I knew him personally because we used to practice together every Monday in Bombay. The articles got into his head and when Ravindra Jain who had given him the break in 'GGC',selected another male singer instead of him he went and argued and showed him the newspaper cuttings. RJ finally told him to get lost and i don't think he got another shot at singing in the industry . He had to go back to Delhi and possibly sang for Punjabi films.
Therefore I suggest the remaining contestants to be like Nihira and take your wins & losses as they come, without creating any scenes even if you do it on the say so of your mentors. These same mentors will kick u out if the songs you sing are not salable.Diplomacy and Chamchagiri with the music directors is the best way to survive in the music industry in India.

Sinhaji I beg to differ with you on this thread ...

There's a difference between controversial singers and budding singers ....

Lataji's spat with OP Nayyar and even snubbing of her sister is folklore ... Kumar Sanu's brash behaviour is as well ... but here we're talking of 17 year old kids who're yet to make their mark on the industry ...

They have hardly sung how many songs (1 to 3 ??) and they already see the stars ???

Comeon ... we all know nothing succeeds like success and these immature kids are yet to reach the heights of success ....

Anyway all said and done, it's a shameful act on their part and cannot be ignored ....

😳 😳 😳
