The truck suddenly brakes and Radhika is slammed against Dev. She wakes up and realises that Dev was watching her and they stare at each other. Teri har jhalak is playing in the background. Radhika feels awkward and suddenly turns away from Dev. However her hair gets tangled on Dev's button. Radhika reaches out to untangle her hair and puts some distance between them. Just then the driver calls them to get down. Dev jumps off and then offers Radhika his hand to help her in turn. They thank the driver and the latter says there is no need, and blesses them that 'rab tum dono ki jodi banaye rakhe', and that you keep loving each other like that only. Dev looks at Radhika. They see off Lucky-the driver. Dev tells Radhika that it is late already, and we must not waste time otherwise we will miss the flight to Mumbai and they hail a taxi. The flight is seen taking off.
Aama and Devki reach the temple. Aama prays to Thakurji for Vishaka's happiness. Dadi and Vaishali get to the temple too. Aama is praying that do not separate Dev babu from her life and do not let Radhika come in between them. Dadi is thinking that only Radhika will bring happiness in Dev's life, she will share his grief. She requests God to make Radhika say yes to this marriage. Aama is thinking that this marriage should not happen, you will have to stop Radhika from marrying Dev. Dadi is praying that there should not be any more obstacles now in their way. Devki and Aama bows in front of God, and turning around see Dadi and Vaishali. They greet each other. Dadi is telling Aama that Vaishali and her had come to the temple to pray to Thakurji that Radhika quickly gives her consent for the marriage. Dadi is boiling with rage. Dadi says I am sure you had come to ask for the same. Devki smiles sheepishly and acquiesces, while Dadi is stoic. Devki answers that wishing for our children's happiness is a parent's responsibility. Vaishali agrees with her. They greet each other goodbye. Aama remarks to Devki that it is indeed the era of Kalyg, if a family like them has agreed to marry their son to a girl who we do not know her caste, her origin, her background. I know that Thakurji will not let this happen. Devki looks on. They leave.
Dev is seen knocking on a door. A woman comes out and asks them who do they want to meet. Dev says they wanted to meet Vishaka, and they have come from Mathura. She answers that she might have been living here before her, she has just shifted here since two weeks and hence cannot help them. Dev asks Radhika where will they look for Vishaka now, she is not here. Radhika is confused and does not what to do. She asks him if he could try calling her again, perhaps she will answer. Dev tries but is unsuccessful. Radhika worries that they have come so far, they had to lie to Shastriji, and decides she wants to meet only before leaving. Dev agrees. But adds but it is late already and it would not be wise to roam on the streets in the city. He says we will some hotel to stay the night.
Shastriji is calling home and Devki answers. He says I have reached safely and thought to call. He wants to talk to Radhika. Devki stutters at lost at what to say. Aama picks up the phone and asks him whether he has reached safely, to which he says yes and reiterates that he wanted to talk to Radhika. Aama gets angry and says this is what I do not like about you. Aama complains that Shastriji only thinks of Radhika. She says for you, a stranger means much more than your own, and that you have even forgotten about your mother. Shastriji is frowning at this. Aama continues her rant saying, anyways these days you do not like nor pay head to anything I say. You only chant Radhika Radhika all day. Shastriji gets fed up with her and puts down the phone. Devki asks what happened. Aama says nothing I just wanted to distract Lallah with my complaints. By the time, he will come back, Radhika will have brought Vishaka with her. Devki asks her whether she has contemplated about what will happen after that. Aama is not disturbed at all and says smilingly that whatever will happen, will happen for the best and walks off. Devki is tensed.
Dev and Radhika walk into a hotel. He tells her to sit while he goes to book the rooms. As he is walking towards the reception desk, he overhears a man asking whether they have rooms available and the receptionist answering that they have only two room remaining. The receptionist asks on whose name should she book the room and the man answers Mr & Mrs Rajat Kapoor. Dev is thinking that it is already late and at this hour it will be difficult to find another, but they have only one room... The couple leave and Dev tells the receptionist that he wants a room. She asks for how many people because they have only one room left. Dev is thinking and says it does not matter, there is only two of us. The receptionist asks under whose name should she register the room on. Dev hesitates and answers Mr & Mr Dev Raj Purohit. Radhika overhears and is stunned. The receptionist gives him a key and tells them to go ahead to their room, and that she will have their belongings sent. Dev turns to look at Radhika who is frowning, Dev looks down feeling awkward and they leave. As soon as they enter the room, Radhika asks him why he has said that they were husband and wife. Dev slowly turns around to face her. Radhika avoiding eye contact, states that she cannot stay with him in this room. Dev agrees and says you are right, let's leave, anyways I have no wish to stay in this city, neither to talk to Vishaka, nor to bring her back. I have come only because of you, and now since you yourself is not happy, let's leave. Dev stops and explains there was only one room left, we have been walking all day, I thought it would be better to take up the room so you can rest instead of roaming on the streets. Your pain, your sorrows, your happiness is important to me. I am sorry if you felt bad because of me, but I had to. But don't worry, you won't feel as if you staying with me in one room. You go and freshen up.
Radhika comes out from the bathroom, wiping her face with a towel when she notices that Dev is hanging something, he gets down and pulls the separation. Bawre Naina is playing. He goes and sits on the couch and grabs a magazine to read. Radhika is looking at him and is pensive.
It is morning. Vaishali is asking Birju whether Dev had called at night. Birju says no he didn't. Vaishali is disturbed and worries about him and asks God to take care of him. Dadi says not to worry that once Radhika will come in his life, everything will be fine. I am certain that Radhika will not refuse Dev's demand in marriage. Mrinalini and Chacha overhears and Mrinalini remarks that Dadi is too overconfident about the outcome and there must be something. She needs to know everything and must call Vishaka.
Radhika is praying to Kanha, saying today I will bring back Vishaka, please do something so that she agrees to come with me. Dev is listening to her. Radhika says please give her the wisdom to leave that path. Radhika finishes her prayer and turns around. She is surprised to see Dev. Dev says he has found out where Vishaka is. He tells her to get ready quickly, he will go and pay the bills and they will leave.
Devki gives Aama her tea. Aama is worried and asks whether there has been any news from that cursed ' one Radhika. Devki says no, there has not been any call from her. Aama says she is scared that Radhika will influence Dev. Devki says I am worried about what if Shastriji comes before them. Aama tells her not to speak like that, he is to come tomorrow. She tells her to phone Dev and ask whether they have found Vishaka.
Suddenly the door opens and Shastriji comes in. They are both shocked. Shastriji calls for Radhika and asks where she is. He asks what has happened, why are you so shocked. Aama tries to pacify him saying we thought you were coming tomorrow hence we were surprised. Shastriji says the pooja was meant to be for two days, but we completed it before time and hence I thought it would be better to come back.
Dev and Radhika reach a studio. They ask the watchmen where can they meet Vishaka. He says Vishaka madam is inside doing a photoshoot. Dev says this is her sister, we have come to meet her. He lets them go inside. Dev notices Vishaka from afar. Radhika is shocked to see her in western/skimpy clothes.
Precap: Vishaka is leaving in a huff. Radhika hurrying after her trying to talk to her. Vishaka gets angry and stops, tells her not to interfere, and why is she so worried about, I have nothing to do with this shaadi, maine toh yeh shaadi kabi... Radhika slaps her before she says anything else. Dev is stunned.
