Chapter 7

-Flashback to AR conversation in Coffee Shop-

I stood there alarmed as he ordered his coffee, I felt the need to run up to him and huge him, but my feet were plastered onto the ground. Then I did it, I ran up to Armaan, gave him a rib crashing hug, and broke down.

"Why'why'did'you leave me!!??" I said between sobs.

"It was the biggest mistake of my life'here sit down, and I will explain everything to you," him being the gentleman, made me sit down in my chair.

I was still crying, and he held my hands securely. There was silence besides my bawling. Then, when I gathered myself up, he talked, "Ok, so when we were married, there was a guy named Kunaal, remember," not wanting to tell him anything, I nodded, "ok, well one day, Kunaal told me that he was in love with you, more like obsessed with you. He also told me that you felt the same. We had an arranged marriage sweetheart, I thought you actually love Kunaal, so I left, telling Papa to get the two of you married when I left. So I have been in California all this time, handling business, and loving you more than ever. That's it."

I stared at him for a second while all of it started to click. "And Papa listened to you. He got me married to that moron. I never, ever loved him Armaan!! I thought he was a good friend, so I spent time with him," I exclaimed "He never meant anything to me! Then right after we got married, he'"

"He what Riddhima'.HE WHAT??"

"He started abusing me'.mentally and physically," I replied in a small voice.

Armaan's grip on my hands got tighter, "He will have to pay for this. I knew he was a fraud about 2 months ago. I somehow got hold of Muskaan's number, and called her. She told me everything, except for the abusing. I rushed over here, to find you, and fix my mistake, and while I was here, Kunaal somehow charged me of being a fraud, and robbing my own company. MY OWN COMPANY!!!! He called me a criminal, and has put a search warrant on me in California, little does he knows; that I am here is New York."

"Armaan, we need to get out of here, away from Kunaal!!" I almost yelled.

"Yes we do, and I have to perfect plan," and he narrated an award winning plan to me quietly.

Today is my birthday, so I would like lots of comments 😛
