Jungle law: Aakashh ki chalti hai!
TNN 9 August 2009, 06:29pm IST

"Raju ki bahut chalti hai yaha par ... Raju ko yeh do, woh do ... " said Aman to Mika and Jay. Any guesses on who Raju really is ... somebody?

It's none other than a nickname for the angry young man Aakashh! Aman, Mika and Jay were voicing their displeasure towards Aakashh's all time dadagiri.

Aman claimed that at least he and Jay were fortunate enough to be known by their real names rather than onscreen characters. He said "When you play a particular character on screen which becomes popular ... people recognize you. But you and I are lucky, we are known by our names. But Raju is still known by his character's name!"

Hey meena that was funny but strangely i do not watch tv serials.......i am a fan of reality shows.....dance, music and big boss kinds......so i get to know all these people thru this.... havent watch a single serial of any of these guys .๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜ณ

I think akash is known as akash more than any other name....at least on the forum ๐Ÿ˜Š

Not sure if I will call it Aman's insecurities. It's great for an actor to be known by their screen character. That means people were watching, and they still remember. The character still lingers in their memories. Tulsi, Parvati, Jai, Bani, Karan Nandini, Sumit Kumkum people still hold the characters very close to their heart. Even SRK gets loved because of his character "Rahul". Maybe Aman should try to take important roles more often that left a lasting impression.

I haven't watched all Akash shows but I doubt his name was ever Raju. ๐Ÿ˜•

I missed it too. But reading it here sounded silly.
