"It's the first day of work, make a good impression. You won't get a second chance to make the first impression". Nina repeated the same words her father had said last night before going to bed.
She took a peek at her sister, who was calm and quiet, like her usual self. Shreya stood up from her chair where she was doing her hair and went to Nina's closet, which didn't have any clothes hung properly. Judging from the closet's condition it looked like Nina had tried the entire outfits.
"When you say something like that, who won't panic?" she asked herself in a whispered tone.Shreya just smiled and stood besides her sister with a blue T-shirt and a pair of skinny jeans. Nina liked that,but another idea popped in her head. Nina took the clothes from Shrea's hands and examined it for a second and put it back where it belonged. Nina saw a confused look on her sister's face. She took a couple of steps toward Shreya.
"Di mere paas ek bahud accha idea hai" Nina said as she took a seat on the bed .
"Aur who kya hai"?asked Shreya sitting besides her sister on her bed.
"Papa ne kaha he ki first impression bahud hi important hoti hai. Haan ki naa?
"Haan"
"Toh aaja ke liye me aap ki ek salwar kameez pehenti hoon"
"Idea bura nahin hai"
"Mujhe pata hai, aakhir Nina ki idea hai"
Shreya gave an approval look, and Nina twirled her way to Shreya's closet to pick a new outfit. She took a white one out of the closet and showed it to Shreya for her permission. She said yes, and then Nina went to change.
"Ab mein T-shirt aur akirt pehenti hoon" Shreya said sarcastically. She got up from her bed and started digging for an outfit in her closet. She spotted a black and white kameez and thought that was the for today. Nina came out of the bathroom, with a new avatar. It looked like she went from Mallika to Sati Savitri. Shreya chuckled at her own thought.
"Kya hua"? Nina asked.
"Kuch Nahin, tum bahud khubshurad lag rahi ho" Shreya complimented her sister's new look.
"Ab sirf ek kaam baanki hai?" Shreya asked.
"Mughe mere baal straighten karna hai" Nina said as she plugged in the cord.
'Of course" Shreya said as she rolled her eyes.
"Jaldi karo warna hume late ho jayega" replied Shreya.
"Haan haan dhik hai karti hoon" said Nina
Nina had straightened her hir nly once in a while .. whenever there were some functions with the wedding and all' or else Nina would always have her own curly hair. Shreya too had her hair curly' but that'll be the only similarity between these sisters.
