Ria ka Adda: The Forgotten Chapters!

Dear Friends,

Synopsis: Today's show had all the elements working for it! Each sequence looked connected...PB is successful in digging out the forgotten chapters....the secrets of success...the relationships! If I tend to forget what went wrong in between (e.g. BM went missing, Arjun rarely talks/feels anything about his Dad and DK has not been given any projection off late) today's show was a perfect recipe for bridging the gap! I loved most parts of it and to top it off each person did a fabulous job in terms of acting! even the cute daijaan! Rekha Modi penned some gems...It was a good episode!

Tuning:
After watching today's show I am bound to tune my mind! A pinch of ML and semi blindness and deafness won't matter if I can let the show redeem itself in my eyes! I am assuming for good that Arjun was in touch with BM all the way...she was probably doing a concert or something abroad...He had not told her about his rift with Dad but she came to know this from DK somehow...and is now back to Mumbai to help Arjun reconcile with Dad, to ask for Arohi's hand from HP and simply to be there for Arjun! I could see Neena Gupta (who made Badi Maa adorable) mouthing those dialogues today...this was something the character of badi maa had lost in the course of time...the day Neena Gupta left the dialogues have been poor... the characterization pathetic...but today BM was soft, loving and an egoist who is broken at heart!

DK, Savita and Arjun: Hypocrisy and Human Relationships

Today I could see glimpses of hypocrisy in the characters...I know its a harsh word but I will try to shed light on it!
1. Savita believes that Arjun should reconcile with dad since relationships are too precious to let go...but than as Arjun rightly so points out....she has not herself even tried to reconcile!
2. Arjun hoped DK would stop him from leaving the house but never gave a thought to the fact that DK might ALSO be expecting him to turn back!
This is Hypocrisy BUT what I like about Arjun and Savita is the fact that they are honest hypocrites. I remember reading about the different kinds of hypocrites once and I was amused to read about this kind!
Both Arjun and Badi Maa know they are wrong from within...Arjuns "Arohi ke liye mein nai un ko chod dia" was as fake a statement as BMs "main un ke dil main nahin laut sakti"...What makes them shield their true selves?...If you ask me its their egos! Their egos have never allowed them to follow their instinct..their believes but than they are not manipulating their beliefs according to their actions...they still do believe in reconciliation...they are beautiful from within but still lead incomplete lives! This is the cost they have to pay!
Its only DK Punj who SEEMS to have been able to shatter his ego to bits and pieces and act according to his internal beliefs...But the question is "what are his internal beliefs?" Has he really decided to make Arohi a part of the family cuz she is someone his son loves a lot? Is he ready to share his son with the girl who almost snatched his son from him (in his perspective)? Has he ever forgiven anyone?...Apparently this points towards the danger zone we have been anticipating! DK Punj's "Ghalat to main ab tak kar raha tha par ab jaan gaya hoon us ghalat ko sahi kaise karna hai...jaan gaya hoon apne bete ko main wapas kaise laa sakta hoon!" seemed more of a vengeance than love! DK Punj has been an enigma...with an arcane set of beliefs...he is a planner..a fighter who fights till the end! He is strong enough to stay away from his wife for 25 years....so if he has decided to shatter his ego for Arjun there has to be big enough a reason to do so...big enough an outcome...and it definitely is not targeted towards getting Punji Jr😆...I am bound to believe he has other plans...This story is going towards a heart wrenching finale (jail)....PB I am hopeful!

Moment of the Day:
It was a very sweet moment...something that I can associate with a soap...a family scene which was real as if you were right there....very much a part of it! Beauty lies in simplicity! and it was prooved with the scene where the boy brings the girl to meet his Mom who is accidently the girls Godmother! Right from the word go it brought a smile to your face! Badi Maa joining hands with son and Arohi biting her lips...REAL! Arjun smiling in the background as BM continues to question Arohi like a prospective DIL...Cute! If Arjun's haath ka ishara to let her go if she doesn't fit the bill was cute than Arohi's "Badi Maa...bus kijiye na badi maa...bohat ajeeb lag raha hai" was something that any girl would have said had she been in such a situation! Karan and Kritika were perfect in this scene and the actress who plays BM was a good support! It was my moment of the day!

Dialogue of the Day:
1. Haan to kia issi liye main Arjun ko Arohi se alag kar doon?
2. Ab tak usse apni bahu na bana kar mujhe kia milla
3. Main jaanta hoon woh ladki meri dolat kaipeeche hai par meri dolat to mera beta hai!
The three replies to Paddy's clever questions were equally strong and effective! Even though DK is not someone I will believe in so easily...but yes these three statements were awesome lines delivered by Satyajeet Sharma with perfect expressions!

Bits and Bites
1. Where does Arjun live now? At Badi Maa's, At Salil's or still in the park?

2. The problem with the figures continue! So it has been 25 years since Savita left DK...and 25 days since Arjun left...both are not making sense...Arjun all of a sudden becomes 30 years old..and the reunion took some 3 months in reality and if they were just 25 reel days😲...I am bound to be shocked and surprised!

3. Arohi looked beautiful in yellow once again😊!

4. "jis karan singh ke sirf naam se logon ki hasti mit jaati thi...ussi karan singh ki hsati ko mitta raha hai aik naam...Arohi" It was a beautiful statement! Its so strange to experience two love tracks for the same person...each having its own beauty! Since Arjun has it all right now...KS naturally grabs the sympathies...and with each passing day as HT gets deeper into the skin of the character and gives stellar performances I can surely say this with confidence that the character of Karan Singh would be remembered for long as one of the most intriguing and well sketched third wheel! KS seems to grab the hair oil again though...guess the shampoo did not suit him😆!

5. Another bench scene...beautiful lines...awesome setting! It deserved to be on the moment and dialogue of the day...what went wrong? The dubbing....Arohi's dubbing was as pathetic as it could get...I feel cheated after watching that scene for a number of times...an episode that was almost flawless (if you overlook the many little flaws😛) was just dented by the pathetic voice over that Arohi got! Its a pity to see scenes like these go wasted!

6. The popcorn scene was very cute...only if Arohi could have triggered the pop corn throwing in a more happening way...I would have loved to see the popcorns splash in front of Arjun's face ... but they just landed on his shoulder! Nevertheless it was an entertaining and cute scene! Arjun's dig on "pop" corn was witty and funny!

7. Lady in Pink! A perfect stalker material😆...who was roaming around them in random directions at random times! I tried to catch that through pictures and a timeline of part 3 of the show! The best one is where she is coming towards them at 2:19 and moving away at 2:24....what say who could she be???

Buddies since I have a class tomorrow morning so I would not be able to drop by at the adda till the evening! @Adda : KMH time change has effected Me and Ria a lot. The show airs at 1:00 pm for me and 10:30 in the night for Ria. I normally end up in meetings during afternoon and for Ria its sleeping time. So to open Adda it will take around 5 hrs or so after the show airs. Me and Ria have worked out a plan , so I will do all the necessary things to put up the new adda. There is no change from ur POV , We will still alternate in opening Adda.

Me , Ria and Anjana have been playing a game between the three of us for the last two days. I haven't seen anyone noticing it 😆😆.We will continue it for the next two days , lets see if someone can figure it out 😆😆. The clue is in our posts 😉😉

Yesterday's fiasco, thanks for all the support. I have promised a friend here at adda that I will not let anything bother me, so that was my first and last time I will ever justify myself or adda for anyone. I wont recommend anyone doing it either. Lets continue what we do the best, Fun Masti Rock and Roll 😊😊


TO THE EPI.........


Buddies😊, Week stared with a comic dance on Monday😆😆 and moved on to some Arcanely matters like DK turning good , KS turning full fledged Lover boy in yesterday's episode. Yesterday Dost wanted to take Arohi to meet some one ,I guessed it could be Mother India so lets go see if Mother India indeed return from Ekta's spl hell 🤣🤣, arey yaar she was gayab from screen for such a long time , I sure think she must have died BTs spl death 🤣🤣. BTs spl death : A person goes off screen for some time for some weird reason and will return with the same face or a plastic surgeri-ed(diff face after plastic surgery 🤣🤣) face 🤣🤣. Anyways I will keep my comedy for the show and lets go watch whats happening in KMH's spl world ........to the epi......😃



Epi starts off at Bindu Kundra's , Arohi in some orangish yellow outfit, walking out happily , Sur and Antara with wide open mouths 🤣🤣watching Arohi. Antara wonders "Yeh di ko kya hogaya hai ,yeh subah subah tayar hoke kahan jaa rahi hai?". Sur ki bachi cant add 1+1 and yahan Antara quizzing her abt Arohi 🤣🤣. Anyways Dost in some light bluish shirt and with him Arohi and they both at someone's entrance. Dost rings the bell, Arohi wonders whose house that is, Dost ki sabse intelligent answer "Darwaza kulega khud patha chel jayega", ya ya as if Arohi doesn't know that 🤣🤣. A servant opens the door and AA enter the house. Arohi keeps wondering and TA-DA any guesses buddies??😉😉 Yup it looks like someone we know very well😲😲. I have seen this lady somewhere , where??😕😕 Let me bang my head a little....hmmm...Kahin yeh Badi maa tho nahin?😲 I mean hamare pyari si Mother India?😉😉 Ya looks like it is her🤣🤣 . Yaar u ppl stop giving me those stern looks , what can I do first of all they showed her from behind and on top of it the lady is with khuli baal , so it was a little difficult for me to figure out who that person was 🤣🤣🤣. Arohi happily runs towards her and hugs her . Wow they hug so nicely kaash AA can hug like that😍😍 .Anyways Arohi asks "Aap kab aayi?". Now does this mean Arohi knew that Mother India wasnt in town??😕😕 Does that mean she was in touch with Mother India?? 😕😕If she was how come Mother India never invited Arohi to her home nor took care of her in Mumbai??😕😕 Too many questions and Answer sheet is blank 🤣🤣🤣. Anyways Dost looks like is answering all of us "Aaj subah Flight se" 🤣🤣🤣. Now Dost ji u giving very intelligent answers today we can see that but buddy ,its not what we want to know. She mustve come by flight paidal thodi naa ayegi 🤣🤣🤣 but where did she go in the first place??😲😲 Also I seriously want to know when did they start this Aerial service between Ekta's spl hell and KMH's spl Mumbai??🤣🤣🤣 Arey yaar now she disappears into thin air and all of a sudden appears ,so it means she died "BTs spl death " 🤣🤣🤣. Mother India says "Hug wont suffice u will need to bow down" , Arohi shocked, Dost ki some weird expression 🤣🤣, sorry couldnt decode. Mother India says "Aaj se mein tumhari badi maa nahin sasoo maa". Now does this mean Dost informed her abt Arohi ?😕 So that means he was in touch with her? 😕😕Whatever😡 , Mother India's characterization in this show is totally ARCANE😡😡. Arohi tries to shove it off , Maa - Bete ki comedy starts off. They stand on either side of Arohi and start making fun of her. Mother India asks "Yehi ladki hai naa tumne chuni hai shaadi ke liye?" .Dost with folded hands shaking slightly 🤣🤣smiles a little. Arohi with a sad face , Dost says "Sorry Arohi", Arohi looks at him shocked. I think this Sorry was unnecessary. He could have straight jumped to the next line , sorry kehne ki kya zaroorath, infact saying sorry will take out the mazaa from the mazak 🤣🤣. He continues "Mom jo apka bhi faisla hoga" , Arohi looks at Mother India Askingly 🤣🤣. He continues "Agar aapko yeh ladki teek lagthi hai tho teek hai nahi tho". Arohi gives a sad+shocked look to dost 🤣🤣. Dost smiles😳😳. Mother India says "Hmmmm dikhne mein tho teek hai". Look at dost 🤣🤣 he kind of bends and looks at Arohi's face and nods 🤣🤣. Mother India Questions "Kya tumhe gana aatha hai?". Look at Dost all smiles😆😆. Its so cool to see him laughing like that😳😳😳. Arohi with a cute is sad si face answers "Ji". Mother india continues her questionnaire "To khana banana bhi aatha hoga?". Arohi nods. Look at Dost nodding along with Arohi 🤣🤣🤣. Mother India continues "Silayi kadayi bunayi?". Arohi looks at Dost sadly, Ladka as if wants to listen to her answer folds his hands and awaits her answer🤣🤣. Arohi looks at Mother India and says "Aathi hai". I just loved how masoom Arohi was at that line😳😳😳. Now in tha background dont forget to glance Dost who is all laughing closing his mouth 🤣🤣🤣. Mother india says that she wants to wear Arohi's woven sweater, Dost says "Perfect" with a perfect accent 😳 and Arohi says now "Its enuf , its weird" and Mother india laughs it off. Dost laughs too, I love this kind of laughter on Karan's face , he looks like a kid, AWESOME😳😳😳.



Back to KS. KS asks for coffee and his daijaa hands him Mango lassi 🤣🤣, I mean Haldi Milk yaar. KS gets shocked seeing that. Diajaa tells him that Arohi called twice since morning and was worried abt KS's health. Now where do I banggggggg my head. This Arohi girl is giving unnecessary hints to KS. Daijaa says "Unhone hi kaha yeh sab karne ko" , KS has a smile on his face and asks "Arohi ne kahan yeh sab karne ko?". Daijaa nods and see how quickly KS agrees to drink that milk🤣🤣. Man I feel sorry for KS . He is falling deeper and deeper for Arohi ,cuz of the girls Stupid Sangseva hmmm😡😡😡. Loved the back ground music for KS. Arohi calls, Daijaa attends the call and KS hurriedly runs towards the phone but Arohi cuts the call before he could talk to her. He feels so sad when Daijaa informs that Arohi hung up the call. He asks Daijaa to leave and sits back onto chair and starts wondering "Arohi ko itni phikr kyun hai meri? Iss phikr ko kya naam doo? Mein kyun itna uske baren mein sochtha hoon? Iss soch ko kya naam doo? Jis karan singh ke naam se logon ki hasthi mit jaathi thi , ussi karan singh ki hasthi ko mita raha hai eek naam......... Arohi". Oh man I was so seriously watching the scene , enacted by Hiten to the core👏, Background male humming just perfect👏👏. Normally we should be mad at such a person who is a potential threat to AA but I feel sad for him. I feel he is been dragged into this love triangle for no mistake of his. If there was anyone to be blamed for this, I will blame Dost for pushing Arohi towards KS and then I will blame Arohi for being overly friendly with her Boss. I seriously fail to understand how can Arohi be all of a sudden so friendly with KS??😲😲 Just the other day she didn't trust him, Dost consoled her and told her that she needs to work with him for achieving her dreams and a day later we see that she is celebrating his bday, gifting him watch and taking care of his wound ?huh?😲😲 I really am Amazed at the turn of events , I have lost track of Arohi's character. I hope PB has a very valid reason to show how this sudden transformation happened. Also Arohi celebrated KS's bday when Dost was out taking a call, so that means Dost never got to see Arohi being so friendly with KS , so when he gets to know will that cause the much needed havoc in their lives?😲😲 Or is it as I guessed AA's plan to trap KS for achieving Arohi's dreams?😕😕 .Iam totally confused. PB we will definitely need Clarity here.

Back to MotherIndia and Arohi Dost. After some chitchat-ing , Arohi wants to leave. Mother India asks Dost to drop Arohi off. Arohi informs Mother India that her dad doesnt know abt it and if he sees them together he may make it a big issue. Dost finally asked his mom for a help man, mere khan tharas gaye iss din ke liye 🤣🤣🤣. He asks "Aap hi bathayi yeh naa iske bauji ko kaise manana hai , haath dhoke mere peeche pade hue hain". I some how felt this line very funny 🤣🤣, i can so well visualize Black Beauty (HP) running around dost with Danda 🤣🤣🤣. Mother India says she will tell that later, invites Arohi for lunch the next day and they hug and Badi Maa kisses "muaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh"🤣🤣🤣. Now I know where Dost got this "Muah" habbit from 🤣🤣🤣. Man whats with that weird sound during kiss 🤣🤣🤣. Either u kiss or u dont kiss , whats this thing in middle "muaah"?? 🤣🤣🤣. Anyways Arohi leaves, Dost keeps looking at Arohi and Mother India asks Dost "Dad se baath hui?". Dost says "Kis baren mein" , I think Karan should have looked straight when Mother india said the dad line, looked down given it a thought and looked back at his mom and asked "Kis bare mein".But anyways he fine on the next line😳. Mother India says "Arohi ke baren mein". He responds "Mom dad tho sirf Arohi ko chodne ki baath karenge, aur mein Arohi ke liye unhe chodiya, tho mein kisiko bhi chod saktha hoon". The underlined part was unecessary in this line , it makes no sense to the context. Mother India touches her son and asks "Kya hua?". Dost responds "Kuch nahin", but its very obvvious from his face that he misses his dad dearly😭. The very thought of he leaving his dad is hurting him. Karan enacted this line very well. Mother India finally could study her son and his feelings says "Mein jaanthi hoon ki tu dad ko bahut miss kartha hai, aur tumhare dad bhi tujhe bahut miss karthe hain, Ghar chodne se rishthe choot nahin jaathe , yeh yaad rakhna beta". Dost is on a new mission today 🤣🤣🤣no no not the Arohi one , this is a new one Ma-Ko-SadhBudi-Samjao-Papa-Se-Milao one 🤣🤣🤣. He says "Ghar chodne se risthe nahin chodjaathe phir kya ghar pacchees din pehle choda ho yaa pachees saal pehle". First of all Dost left house more than 3months back according to one of the epis so this should have been more like theen mahine yaa thees saal. But anyways I will assume it was just meant for some flow and wasnt giving out the exact time line. Dost questions "Dad aapko bhi bahut miss karthe hain, aap unke paas wapis kyun nahin cheli jaathi?". The concern in dost's eyes very obvious at this line. He very well saw the pain his dad went thru missing his wife, so his concern understandable😳. Mother India tries to give some bakwaas justification says "Unke dil mein ehankar hai , yeh ehankar ki pachees saal ke baath yeh laut ke aayi maane yeh galath hai". Now why cant she shed her ego and shower her husband with love😡😡😡, may be that can bring that change that she couldnt get in him by staying away from him for so many years. Ab yeh 16 yrs se 25 yrs kab hogaya??😡 Man this KMH is really making a mockery of Timeline 🤣🤣🤣. REKHA MODI ji , DK-Savitha split 16 years back and not 25 yrs back. DK said 16 yrs mutliple times in this show, so please fix on 16yrs.We are already confused souls over this timeline, please dont confuse us more 🤣🤣🤣. Mother India continues her justification says "Beta humare beech pyar hai". Ok what kind of love is this where u cant shed ur egos even after 16/25 yrs??😲😲 Anyways she says that she is confident her husband will comeback once he sheds his ego. Ya so that she can say "Ur wrong" to him naa??😡 Stupid EGO's😡😡😡. She asks him to talk to his dad abt arohi before things go out of hand.




All of a sudden we reach DK-Paddy scene😕😕. They continue from yesterday's scene, as if we dont remember what happened yesterday. Anil bhai saab 🤣🤣🤣we are not going thru any memory loss, u please dont need to eat up the time by showing the same scene again. Only thing different from yesterday and today at that scene is , yesterday they didnt show Dost-Arohi in the flashback today they did, as if we care🤣🤣. Again back to Maa-Beta😕😕, Dost says he wont talk to his dad and leaves his mom's place. Mother India thinks to herself "If Arjun doesnt want to talk to his dad who will?" I was like u will who else😡😲😲 , go nibhao apni mother-giri 🤣🤣🤣 Again back to DK-Paddy😕. Paddy gets shocked listening to DK accepting Arohi. Paddy confronts DK saying "Yeh wahi arohi hai jisne aapke bete se aapko alag kardiya". DK responds "Tho kya mein apne bete ko arohi se alag kardo". Yipeeeeeeeeeee me need to do a little jig pleas give me a min. Ok done me back to my chair🤣🤣🤣, yaar DK is a changed man 😳😳, he seriously wants to accept Arohi as his DIL wow😳😳. Me cant believe my eyes and ears🤣🤣. I loved this line from DK "Mein jaatha hoon woh ladki mere daulath ke peeche hai , par meri daulath tho mera beta hai"😳 . Wow, I so love DK🤗. Satyajeeth sharma's voice modulation at this line with that slight sinking voice , seriously he is an actor I get so engrossed while watching👏👏. DK seems to have realized his mistake, the mistake that cost him his son. He says "Mein tho wahin kada tha jaha PACHEES saal pehle kada tha". Rekha modi, its not pachees its saula saal. Oh so the reunion between Dost-DK and DK-Mother India seems to be on cards. Wow what an amazing family reuinon that will be😍😍😍😍😍. Paddy gets shocker listening to that says "Ur making a mistake". DK responds "Galath tho mein ab thak kar raha hoon, ab mein jangaya hoon apne bete ko kaise wapas la saktha hoon". Satyajeeth sharma has an amazing screen presence and a mesmerizing voice modulation and he just can keep us engrossed with his acting .Hatts off. Paddy (??) actor was good.




THE BLUNDER OF THE DAY : Didnt Arohi say she is going back home alone and Dost left Mother India's house after a while, so how come we get to see both of them walking on road eating popcorn??😲 Ok let me get my popcorn while PB and Directors try to answer me 🤣. What nonsense 😡. Now that Arohi is wandering around mumbai roads, wont HP see this??😲😲 She is the one who told Mother india naa that HP may see them together if Dost went to drop her off?😲😲. Sorry PB , I know u trying to show some romantic scene and me spoiling the scene with my bakwaas logical questions right?? 😉😉I know 🤣🤣🤣. Arohi says "Pop corn kyun phenka?" and me fell of my chair🤣. NOW WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT VOICEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE😲. Man my ears really started bleeding , what was that voice, some one squealing or something ??😲😲😲 I dont feel like writing this scene. Its really really IRRITATING DUBBING😡. Dost responds "Popcorn hai tumhari taraf pop hogaya". I was like dost u keep talking ,dont let that Arohi open her mouth🤣🤣🤣v, my ears hurting listening to her GOLDEN VOICE😡😡😡. Dost throws some more popcorn and she says "Pop corn phenkrahe ho mere balo mein". MANNNNNNNNNNNNNN Can any voice in the world be more irritating??😡 Me literally , not for fun, seriously fell of my chair. PAINFUL, PATHETIC and HORRIBLE DUBBING SPOILED A WONDERFUL SCENE😡. Dost can keep quite naa ,atleast if he keeps quite may be the girl will keep chewing the popcorn and stop talking 🤣🤣🤣. He throws few more popcorn and I was feeling like throwing my new mobile on his face , man he really is making that girl talk 🤣🤣🤣. Arohi says "Blah blah blah and blahhhhhhhhhhhhhh". IAM NOT GOING TO WRITE THAT LINE😡. All i could hear was blah blah and blah, it looks like some one fast forwarding audio tape , man it is really hurting😡. Anyways Dost keeps irritating Arohi , she throws the popcorn on him , he runs behind her . It was really relaxing for me because the girl wasnt talking 🤣🤣🤣. Arohi asks Dost abt his dad and when will he talk to him. Pehle she should go talk to her dad ,itni bhi kya jaldi hai DK se baath karne ki?😲😲. The next frame they sitting on some bench. No continuity whatsoever. Side profile of Karan , he looks best in such profile. Dost responds "Jis din se mom mere zindagimein aayi hai meine dad ko kho diya , jis waqt mein ghar choda tha meine socha tha ki woh mujhe rok lenge" . I agree DK didnt agree for Arohi but rest all bakwaas , he did try to stop Dost from leaving the house. Ladka started lying , I think this is the change Mumbai got in him hmmm 🤣. Arohi says something, which SERIOUSLY I AM IRRITATED TO LISTEN TO ,SO WONT WRITE. KMH TEAM Stop using that DUBBING voice😡😡. Me really really cant write her lines ,they just hurting my ears. Dost "Woh mujhe phirse hurt kiya tho?". Arohi responds if that happens u can stop talking to him forever, but once go and have a chat with him. Dost goes to flashback to the day he left Mansion , remembers his dad's words. First things first , DK wearing the same dress that day in the flashback and even today 🤣🤣🤣, Dost has become little skinny recently, very obvious if we compare him to the fashback and present. Is Karan seriously into 6pack buidling?? 😉😉Wow interesting🤣🤣, I will have to find out a diff name for him, kadoo wont suit him naa 🤣🤣🤣. Jokes apart Dost says "Dar lagtha hai Arohi, Jitna meine socha nahin tha usse zyada hurt kiya tho? " . Just loved that Karan's serious+sad gaze. His side profile is amazing. He looks lot better in the side profile 🤣🤣🤣. Arohi tries to console him and Epi ends😊.



Last scene has the most Pathetic dubbing. Dubbing department I seriously want someone to punish u by locking u all up in a room and playing this last part and only Arohi's voice over and over. Man it was hurting or what. Its not an exaggeration it really KILLED THE IMPACT OF THAT SCENE.


NO PRECAP: DK will call Dost and ask Arohi and Dost to come over to his place, I guess😳😳.


EPI VERDICT :Watch the epi for the first scene between Mother India and Dost,Arohi and DK and KS's scene. If possible skip the last scene, its really painful to hear that dubbed voice for kritica.

It was sad to see arjun doubting that his dad can actually hurt him more than he even expects, when probably his dad has actually changed.....he was the one arjun trusted all his life, more than himself...hence he doubting his father depicted a deep sense of loss..albeit in a time when things could actually improve.....

to ab AA nachtey nachtey gayi tel leney...uh oh..no no...gayi kisiki ghar mein...arre...yeh to sujal ka ghar hai ! HAILA !! par khola darwaza nikla naukar !! hmmmm to badi maa flew to mumbai to meet son and beti-in-law.....ohh...did I forget to JUMP UP and DOWN !! afterall, THE BADI MA is Back !! no no..i was all shaant but happy...sukun aaya dil ko.....but, the conversation, teasing session : ummm me did not enjoy much !! but what I did like was how arjun smiled like a nayee naveli dulhan..kitna sharmakey muskura raha tha na ladka? !! CUTE !! waisey badi maa, bahu khana banayegi to samajh aaya..padh sewing, knitting and all? kahe ko? punj clan naya business khol raha hai kya? garments ka?

[ an aside: arohi and badi maa are meeting after arjun's flop engagement right? that's been quite some time..usme ganga triveni se behke bay of bengal pohuchne hi waali hai shayad...and they have nothing ELSE to talk about? at all? no heart-to-heart catching up?....may be not...raat gayi, baat gayi..]

arjun complainig to maa about sasura (courtesy tuli) sounded more like: Yashomati Maiyya se bole nandlala hyper kaalia se kyun mera padha pala !!

DK, the epitome of arrogance and ego, apparently finally understands that his "son is his wealth"...hence despite paddy's instigation, arohi's alleged lust for his empire and most importantly the fall of his ego, he is ready to accept his son's relation with arohi....he realizes he's still alone the same way he was when his wife abandoned him...today he has everything but still could not "keep" his son! he failed yet again ! ...Anjana reminded us of the Mastercard Ad the other day...may be DK got the hint to: "There are some things that money Can't buy (after all)...for everything else there's Master Card" !!

now is that really as soothing as a willing submission or just another dangerous plan !! wondering...well, it actually is a bit impossible to see DK's genes get mutated all of a sudden, one fine morning....he has seen the consequences of his upfront adamance before, so this time his game plan has to be more leak-proof....he has to get arjun, but arohi comes as a free gift with that !! would he like to keep that gift too? i'd say no....he muist be having some plan to get rid of it eventually, but may be even he doesn't know how and when to do it !! may be KS's affection for arohi will give him his answer...

I would infact like to see a well-played game here..i know i sound insane...but i think that should be interesting....how about DK killing Ks and trying to trap arohi and arun getting trapped instead...naaah !! bad plot !! but something, something more intruiging !! i just don't want this ONE BRILLIANT CONSISTENT character to get transformed into an on-your-face "main to aarti utarun re" type softy-sidey over night..i would rather vote for a fantastic trecherous clash of the titans !

oh and watching DK over and over again personifies kalejey ki thandak !!!

THE last scene: could have been one memorable AA moment..but instead it has given me a bimaari. BT you caused me something called a Tinnitus : where I am actually hearing "sounds" in "silence".

Why and how dare you dub the leads so badly? Are you freaking insane? I have no words to describe my disgust !! seriously !! shoddy-ness at its worst !! You bunch should be fired ! and you better pay my ENT bills...I'm hiring Anjana and I'll make sure she sues you right !!

Moments I treasure,

Early in the morning, Aruna described a beautiful scene that she saw from her window. It was of a resolute boy flying his kite, holding on, showing perseverance in spite of the nasty wind trying to nudge him out from his turf. She did not use flowery language or painted the picture in detail, but, it was enough to create a visual treat. Aruna beautifully captured the essence of that boy's moment without explaining.

This is what she wrote, "I saw this just the other day.. A little guy was happily flying a kite next door & I was watching from my window. Suddenly a strong gust of wind started blowing & the kite started spiralling like mad. And here I stood worried that the wind could blow away the little fellow too. But the little guy hung on.. amazing young boy.. eventually the wind did change course & the little boy was back to happily flying the kite again.. I guess such valour without a second thought is much more easy for a little boy."

Beauty of life lies not in details but in small colorful blocks, simplicity, and in earnest expressions. Today's episode had glitches galore but for me it captured the essence, and was an earnest attempt to hem the loose ends. All of you will have lots to say about the episode, so will save my words for now and write something else though relevant. However, let me add, after a long time I completely ignored my cynical voice and enjoyed the scenes.

I had this big idiotic smile plastered on my face when I saw the frame of Savitha Sanyal Punj -- and yes I started giggling and celebrating. I just wanted to run as fast as I can, knock on the doors of Aditi, hug her tight and start jumping with all the Adda gang. Imagine, me watching this show on a secluded Island -- it would have been just another day, and some random scene with no emotions attached. Faceless strangers we all are here but there is a bond that is so palpable. It makes the viewing so special.

We all are like that small kid that Aruna mentioned in her post. In spite of the moody and unimaginative winds -- read creatives -- we all have shown immense perseverance. Most of the addains have not given up on flying kites of hope even during the windstorm. And, suddenly, out of blue, the wind obliges and pampers us, giving us an opportunity to enjoy the kite dance. It makes me glad that I did not say adios. Though, there is always a tree or a building obstructing the clear view, and that of course makes even our sweet little positive bee Manna mad.

Adda absorbs all the reactions and reflects spectral colors. It offers us an opportunity to enjoy and cherish the pleasant views, and crib and criticize about the misses. Imagine Manna going mad all alone, blabbering, hitting her pillow, stomping, and cursing at her PC/laptop.

There are days when I sit here,

Reading each one of you in silence,

Wondering, I know you all from somewhere,

Though, I cannot recall your beautiful faces...

Episode

A father's realization that his real wealth is his son was the moment for me -- so real and so pure. There is nothing black and white here. It's just human emotion and the invisible strong bond that throbs even if you part on a not so good note. The proud father succumbing to the demands of an obstinate son -- there is no chameleon playing the game. Father's love for his son wins over a businessman's love for his stratagems. I loved the episode for its layers, and for exploring the different threads of relationships in a subtle manner, though one can still feel the jerks. The editor and the director both need to wake-up from the slumber. Dubbed voice killed another possible bench moment to treasure. But, today I am ready to sweep everything under the carpet because DK rocked with his dialogues.

You are holding the strings of my heart son,

Satyajeet Sharma: There are some actors and then there is the actor. You are the actor for me, and your performance inspires me to write. We love DK because you make it so believable and happening. We always forget the flaws of the character and just concentrate on your powerful performance and voice modulation. One of these days, I am going to pen down a Soliloquy for you. It'll be delivered along with Sanjukta's love letter.
