I kinda don't have anything to say about this one, except Enjoy! š Specially who it's for! š *hugs*
A lone car turns onto a isolated street in the dark night. Akki sat in the car, struggling to see through the windshield as the rain fell faster. Why was he so idiotic? He knew he was getting married in less than two weeks yet he had signed up for an idiotic business trip up to Toronto. Stupid Canada, He thought to himself as he turned another corner in the poor light.
The minute Kiran finds out, she's going to have another panic attack, he thought sadly as he looked at his cell phone quickly. He should have told her the moment he found out about the trip but he couldn't face her. He knew she'd want to kill him.
He parked the car in the garage and sighed before stepping out of the car. He made his way to the door and closed his eyes, saying a quick prayer before entering.
The whole house felt eerie somehow. The lights were all dimmed and there was faint music coming from upstairs. "Kiran? Are you upstairs?"
"Mhmm," He got in response.
He shook his head before trudging up the large staircase.
If you wanna know
Tomorrow morning I have to leave
But wherever I may be
Best believe I'm thinking of you
I can't believe how much I love
"Kiran?" Akki walked slowly though the hall and could see the lights on in the master bedroom where Kiran always slept while he had the huge guest room to himself.
"I'm in here," Her voice called out to him.
This was getting a bit strange, He thought as he lightly pushed open the door to her room and saw her shadow through the sheer blinds that hung over her open balcony.
All we have is here tonight
We don't want to waste this time
"Kiran," He stepped out onto the balcony next to her and saw her standing there feeling the cold night air on her face, while letting the light water hit her hands.
"You'll catch a cold, let's go inside," Akki said as he took her hand but she wouldn't budge.
"I don't want to go in yet,"
He was confused and she knew it judging from the slight smirk that came onto her face. "What's going on?"
"Isn't there something you want to tell me?" She asked, folding her arms across her chest.
Could she know? There was no possible way. She wasn't psychic or something. "Do you know something?"
She shrugged before turning her attention back to the light droplets falling from the roof onto the balcony.
"Kimz?" He pulled her elbow around to make her face him and leaned his forehead down against hers.
Give me something to remember
Baby put your lips on mine
Kiran could feel the heat from his body transferring to hers and that made her lose her train of thought. She had so much to say to him right now, but the sweet innocence she saw in his eyes seemed to make everything evaporate as if it wasn't important at all.
And I'll love you forever
Anytime that we find ourselves apart
"You're leaving tomorrow morning." She said as a statement rather than a question.
Akki nodded as he lifted her chin to look into her eyes.
Just close your eyes
And you'll be here with me
"You're not mad right?" He smiled slightly as he looked into her eyes.
"Am I ever?" Kiran replied.
Akki stepped back and smirked. "Do you REALLY want me to answer that?"
"Akki!" She frowned before slapping his shoulder. "I can't believe you said that,"
"It's the truth jaan," He winked before grabbing her hands from hitting him anymore.
Just look to your heart
And that's where I'll be
If you just close your eyes
Till your drifting away
You'll never be too far from me
If you close your eyes
"I don't want you to go..." she says softly, smiling as his arms circled around her back.
"You think I can bare to be away from you?" Akki murmured into her hair.
He didn't know how he could even spend every day away from her just at work and now it would be three whole days apart.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
He couldn't help but pace in his stupid hotel room. How could they just say that due to the thunderstorms in California all the flights from Toronto were canceled? Stupid airport people didn't understand how important it was for him to get home. Home to see his girl again.
I know I'm gonna see you again
But promise me that you won't forget
Cause as long as you remember
A part of us will be together
He could just close his eyes and feel her presence around him everywhere. She'd be lying on the bed watching something on TV and would call him closer to enjoy it as well. Or should be gazing out the window staring at the gorgeous sun and the birds outside. That was his Kiran. The girl who he was meant to marry in less than two weeks.
So even when you're fast asleep
Look for me inside your dreams
Keep believing in what we're sharing
And even when I'm not there to tell you
Why did she have to be such a good girl and let him go? Kiran groaned as she turned her pillow over on her bed to try to go back to sleep. She hated mornings like this. Her eyes had opened at 6 in the morning only to receive a text from Akki telling her that his flight was delayed until sometime he didn't even know.
I'll, I'll love you forever
Anytime that I can't be where you are
She always wished that she could accompany him on his trips but she knew that it wasn't possible. She had her job here and he had his responsibilities she just wished that they didn't love each other so much.
No...she didn't wish that. She wanted their love to be stronger because she knew every time they'd see each other again after a while the love would just multiply between them.
Just close your eyes
And you'll be here with me
Look to your heart
That's where you'll be
Just close your eyes
Till your drifting away
You'll never be too far from me
Kiran shook her head as she awoke a few hours later, still groggy from her sleep. The doorbell had rung in her dreams and she still wasn't sure if it was only in her dreams. She made her way down the steps and saw a outline of a man standing on the other side of the tinted glass. Slowly the knob turned and instead of her opening the door it opened from the outside and she nearly squealed when she saw her fiance on the other side.
"You said you couldn't come today!" She grinned as he twirled her around.
Akki shrugged as he let her down. "Plans changed?"
Kimz rolled her eyes. "I'm glad they did though,"
"Not more than me!" He scooped her back into his arms and cradled her to the family room before collapsing on the couch still holding her in his lap. "I love you,"
"I love you too," Kimz smiled as she leaned closer to kiss his cheeks.
Look to your heart
That's where you'll be
*shrugs* How was it? š³ Hope you liked it Kimzie!! š *hugs* And Oh yes thanks Rinkz for all the help! š *hugs*
Love,
Meera
