I agree with you about DM still remembering Subhi, but he can still make room for Santu. He has a big heart and he has to consider her feelings too. It's ok to remember a dead spouse, but not at every turn like Subhi folded clothes like this or cooked like this or whatever! I do agree with your second comment - one does not need to forget one's dead spouse to make room in one's life for someone new and just because you move on and start loving someone else does not mean you have forgotten the person in your life before them - and when DM realizes that he will give in to Santu.
