but in the West, they never have arranged marriages ! relationships are a joke for them...they're scared of getting married forget love or arranged marriage isn't it? lack of commitment..they can never understand our physche and how the Indian society functions..

i am not sure whether relationships are joke for them.. Not in all the western countries.. Countries like Germany, Switzerland, Greece, Sweden etc etc do have strong family bond.. Here the education set up is in such a way that each and every child needed to be independent from the very beginning.. They have the freedom to choose man/woman of their life.. if they don't choose at the right age, people think that something wrong with their children.. also children are not dependent on their parent, as govt takes care of them.....sex education is part of their study, and they ask children of 14 etc to try it...so you can see many children of 14 becomes father and mother and do not know how to continue with their life forward... upbringing lots of difference, hence they cannot understand Indian arranged marriage system

now the question is why they are scared of getting married.. Reason is in case of divorce they have to pay their hard earned earning to their wife and children, if it is wife who is richer than husband they wife has to pay ... now how many times you can get married and divorce? šŸ˜† so they are scared to loose their hard earned money.. Life style here is totally different, as they are loosing the family values at the very young age.. Can't blame the individuals for it, as society is been made up such a way that they are just following it.. Like we Indian follow our systems and values..

Hi Lata, come on dear they don't force u to have sex in school in western countries. Being indipendent & having sex r 2 different things. In grade 5-6 we had sex education watched some videos.....giggled like crazy. Some did have sex not coz of the video or sex education they just wanted to. But I know many of us were virgins till we got married!😳

here in U.K. recent times, parents did objected on it.. i am not sure about other countries.. they educate them to do it.. and most of the parents cannot contorl their children as they practice.. most of the tax payers money in this country is going to single parents.. % of these are under 18 children..

i am not talking about Asian based families.. i am talking about the locals in this country, whose culture is totally different from indians..

ofcourse our parents do take care of it. as our culture is totally different.. that is the reason why i enjoy the shows like YRKKH and Bidaai as it shows our culture , upbrining etc..

. but i do know some of the worried asian parents too.. esp people from Pakistan and Bangladesh take their daughters to home country to get them married.. children filed cases against their parents on this issue, and now it become a law in this country that people who get married from home country can apply for citizenship only after the age of 21..
