Actually I started watching YRKKH seriously after naitik's entry only. Though I have watched some past videos but during those days I was a captive audience as my MIL used to watch it. Then Naitik ko dekh kar dil pitter- pattar kiya & I started watching it regularly!

U r so correct that education & self confidence are 2 different things & are not co related. But to face the dragons of the society one has to be bold & has to have some self respect . Look at Shiney Ahuja.......education gaya tel lene the uneducated.... under the poverty line girl will teach him a lesson now. I also want her to talk to him but somebody has to cool him down before that. He is coming to her with preconceived notions so it is not working......just my 5cents

Western world guys won't think like naitik on issues like this.. if the character is been created means, it exists in indian set up .. but this type won't exist in western world as they are very open and forward to these kind of small issues.. here creatives created this character in such a way that it has gone out of proportion..

it is nothing to do with good or bad.. it has something to do with narrow-mindedness ... which was been shown from the begining.. his thinking related to akshara speaking to a boy in the college..etc etc.. very narrowminded person.. can't believe that he is an MBA and educated.. professional degree holders will be much forward thinkers than what DC / SP team thinks.. they should employ someone in their team to know their forward thinking..

stories are projection of one person's(or collection of group) thinking of certain issues, and in the DC - SP team someone is there with this kind of mental atitude which is been approved by the so called team and reflected thru a character called naitik.. so i really believe that this type of individual exist in indian society..

On the contraryshd teach Naitik to : rationalize them, understand them thoroughly. Dysfunctional characters like naitik defo need counseling otherwise they'll end up 'alone' for the rest of their life. yes i agree to your point here.. he only can correct this issue.. advising this type of person is useless.... there is a possibility that he is totally in love with Akshara (love before marriage) he cannot accept anyone other than him loving her ( that too is a kind of sickness) only she has the solutions for his problems..( that too dangerous).. he look like complete psycho at this point of the story and akshara should be very careful even if she gets married to this type of person, as tomorrow anything happens he can commit suicide too😆

i think by showing naitik's exaggerated character they are portraying how possesive indian men are about their wives/significant others.

not crazy possessive like naitik, but definitely a little bit.

I think in India, wives are more possessive towards their husbands ..it's other way round 😆 possessiveness and jealousy are there only till marriage...after marriage they never turn around n look at their wives like they do before marriage 😃

I have also heard of crazy possessive people some what like Naitik......they do exist in reality. Charu, ever since i have moved to India I have noticed that Indian wifey are possessive 😛😆 but in a cute way😳. In the west they are insecure......always trying to look their best....... hubby ka dil kahi idher udad bhatak na jaye. Anyway this is a completely different subject I'll deal with it later...... Indian men vs western men.

Now abt the possessiveness of naitik.......he is now on a different trip......driving everyone insane with him. Certain traits of naitik, which bring out the flaws in him distinctively enough & make his character not so venerable after all. They are showing that in arranged marriage one is always confused lol why ?? Coz they don't know each other well. You know what .......most of the divorce happen in love marriages not in arranged marriages coz in arranged..... one tries to rationalize tries to adjust the expectation! In Love marriage we think that we know our partner very well but it is not true...... sharing a ice-craem together & sharing the bed are 2 different things! We get impatient in love marrige as we think he has changed...... but the fact is he was always like that but we were blindfolded coz of ROMANCE.
