The multplex war is finally over and that's reason enough for the B-town stars to celebrate.

And that's exactly what a whole bunch of them did. Saturday night saw a galaxy of stars descend at Akshay Kumar's Juhu residence, where the khiladi and his wife Twinkle played the perfect hosts at their private bash. There were loads of industrywallahs, most of them being their friends and colleagues. So there were of course very good friends Sajid Nadiadwala and Vipul Shah with wife Shefali; the three were among the earlier ones to arrive. Rani Mukerji made one of her rare appearances, but all eyes turned to Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan who walked in hand-in-hand and seemed relaxed as they hob-nobbed with their coterie of close friends.

Good friend Katrina Kaif made herself comfortable in the company of Twinkle and her fave co-star. Lara Dutta and Vidya Balan clearly were having a whale of a time as were couple-in-love Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor. Director Sabbir Khan and Rohit Dhawan (David Dhawan's son) too made their presence felt here as did Sajid Khan, who ensured that those around him were laughing the hardest. Without the intrusion of well, the shutterbugs, the guests let down their hair and partied till the wee hours of the morning. Seems like our stars haven't forgotten the mantra: Work hard, party harder! Cheers to that...
