Hi Guys,
See, unless the creatives have thought of Suman Lata Dalmia's idea over some samosas and 2.5 rupaye waali chaai, she could be an interesting catalyst. The following post makes no sense if Suman is some flashing stunner purposely hiding behind the colours of Rajasthan gone all wrong or of she is just a minor character who will disappear after 2-3 episodes.
So, today we finally got to see Suman. And contrary to our expectations, she is neither a stunning blast from Abhimanyu's past , nor is she some mentor figure in knowledge of what went wrong in the dude's life. Instead , she is this cheerful, joyous , irritating but seemingly innocent quintessential colourful Jane who looks the walkie talkie nightmare that only Vogue and Marie Claire could imagine. Suman is nothing that a guy's dreams are made of or the kind girls like to hang out with. She is the kind who are shunned , laughed at and felt sorry for....
But Suman looks an underdog only on the surface. The girl is Tinkerbelle bottled up - twinkling eyes and that brilliant smile . She cares two hoots about how she looks . She thinks she is beautiful and I love that attitude. Above all what made me like her was .... that she is ALL HEART and ENDEARING. The way she fell on her knees and spread out her arms to Armaan and mooned over Abhimanyu like a schoogirl staring at the poster of her fave Hollywood star - there is a certain naivete and a beauty to those dreamy eyes .... dreams which will perhaps never come true.
Now, coming to Suman Lata Dalmia's equation with Abhimanyu Modi. Well, Abhimanyu was expecting some straight-faced , sophisticated , elegant medical person as his associate on the New Sanjivani Project . And his disbelief on seeing this rang-birangi import from Jodhpur was such a shocker for the prim-propah Abhimanyu .😆.....He just did not know how to handle the girl's affectionate disposition , her fluttery eye-lashes and that innocent rising crush. It is kiddish , rather silly....but Suman made that endearing. Behind that facade of a colourful country bumpkin nerdie girl, there maybe a brilliant mind and a meticulous planner.Otherwise , why would she be chosen for a job like this unless there is an approach of her mother , the trustee Mrs. Dalmia?
Abhimanyu is a little wary of this colourful guldasta , in a very awkward position by the attentions of Suman.....but he knows that she is his responsibility and no harm or discomfort should come to her. He will take time to get comfortable with her - but I think a warm bonding should happen between them. He may grow to like her , appreciate her as she is , even make her feel nice about herself - he is that kind of a guy. If any of the interns try to play funny with her , he will stand by her side a he promised today. A platonic relationship? Or some serious stuff from Suman's side? 😆
Nikita - the original flame of Sir Modi .... well, the girl fumed when Abhi said that Suman was going to take her place in the project but she would never think in her dreams that anything can happen between the over-desi Suman and the suave Modi. But a woman is a woman . In case, Abhi shows even a slight soft corner for this Rang-Birangi, Nikita could go flaming orange in the cheeks. And that should happen. Suman could actually lead to some pregnant situations between Abhi-Nikki. It would be fun Abhi defending Suman and Nikki disliking Suman and madam Dalmia happily swinging her plaits , oblivious to the AN battle of emotions.😉😆....but it should remain fuinny because if Suman falls for him , it is tragic.... Abhi will break her heart because he only belongs to Nikita.
Suman is an awkward catalyst if the creatives can think in that direction. Abhimanyu is a sweetheart and I think he should only try his best to make Suman feel at home and the best about herself.
And I loved Suman for one thing..... she at least brought out Abhi's boyish self.... lolz! Suman's Mako-MAN.😳😆
