Chapter 61- Mumbai
Days go by, Rahul and Manshaa get close and Aarti and Sahil. Sahil's dad (Kishore) sees the closeness between Aarti and Sahil and wonders whether its just friendship or love. He decides to talk to Sahil about it.
Kishore: good morning beta, kya baath hai kahan jane ki tyari hai?
Sahil: hey dad...vo dad Aarti se milne jarahan hoon.
Kishore: oh Aarti se...magar kyun???
Sahil: what you mean by kyun??? dost hai meri isliye milne jarahan hoon.why any problem???
Kishore: no, no problem at all, bas beta mujhe tumse kuch baath karne thi...if you don;t mind.
Sahil: kya baath hai anything serious???
Kishore: well yes it is, so if you have a few minutes..(Sahil interrupts)
Sahil: ya sure.
Sahil and Kishore stand opposite each other.
Kishore: beta tumhe Aarti kaise lagti hai?
Sahil: Aarti??? she's a nice girl. kyun?
Kishore: nahi bad aise he...sirf nice girl??
Sahil: (laughs) no she's a very very nice girl. smart hai, bright hai, khoobsurat hai aur...
Kishore: aur????
Sahil: aur....hmmm haan aur cute bhi hai. (laughs as Kishore makes a face)
Kishore: beta im not joking im serious, seriously batao what do you think of Aarti?
Sahil: dad i said na she's a nice girl and i like her a lot. She's my best friend.
Kishore: (puts his arm around Sahil's shoulders and both walk) beta agar Aarti aur tum es dosti ke rishte ko koi aur anjaam par le jao to...(Sahil interrupts)
Sahil: what do you mean dad??
Kishore: i mean marriage beta??
Sahil: what??? (shocked) shaadi?? dada what are you saying??? mein...mein Aarti se shaadi kaise kar sakhta hoon?? i mean she's my chilhood best friend dad but shaadi....no way dad maine kabhi bhi Aarti ko likar shaadi ke bari mein socha he nahi hai.
Kishore: nahi socha to ab sochlo...whats the problem??? dekho beta, every person wishes to find a friend in their soul mate and u..u've got the chance of making your chilhood best friend your soul mate. u and aarti maintain such a old and strong friendship beta and all i want is for you 2 to think a step further...it's upto you beta, im not frocing you.mein bas itna kehraha hoon ke is bari mein sochna zaroor. teekh hai?
Sahil knods his head.
Kishore: good ok beta, you carry on mujhe vaise bhi aaj office jaldi poochna hai. bye beta take care.
Sahil: bye dad.
Kishore leaves, leaving Sahil in a deep thought. Sahil sits on his bed thinking of Kishore's words, he then remembers Aarti and has a few flash backs of both of them when they were small and how good freinds they used to be. He is in his deep thoughts smiling, when all of a sudden his dream world s disturbed by his mobile ringing. he picks it up and sees the name flashing it's Aarti, he smiles and answers it.
Aarti: hello...hello Sahil, Sahil kahan ho tum? mein kabse tumhara intezaar karahe hoon, dekho agar tum teekh paanch minute mein nahi aye na to....
Sahil: (cheekily) to.....??? to kya Aarti??? bachpan ke tarah rone laghogi.
Aarti: (makes a face) huh????????? shurrup...i don't cry ok, and why should i watse my tears on you. stupid. (she disconnects the phone)
Sahil: hello..hello...hello Aarti.. Aarti listen yaar...(switches it off) god yaar itna gusah...aur dad kehrahe hain ke mein is se shaadi karlon...god....(smiles and leaves)
Outside Cinema.
Aarti is constantly looking at her watch, she is very angry and saying really bad stuff about Sahil under her breath. She turns to see that the all the people have gone in. A group of guys with 2 girls are standing outside the cinema- they have already watched the movie and are chilling. They look at Aarti and laugh.
One Guy: hey guys maine sunaha tha ki larkiyan larkon ko intezaar karvati hain magar yahan to complete opposite ho raha hai, larka larki koi intezaar karva raha hai. (All burst out laughing) hey sexy kaho to mein chalon kya??? (All start laughing, the guy starts whistling at Aarti)
Aarti is annoyed and then hurt too. she looks at the guys and gives them a mean look. They guy starts walking up to Aarti. She gets really scared. The guys all start flirting with her. One of the guys touches her hair, the other feels her face, the other onegrabs her dupatta and throws it in the air. Aarti starts screaming as they drag her away. She screams to let go of her, but they dont listen. Aarti's dupatta is in the air and comes down and someone catches it. It's Sahil.
Sahil: (screams) AARTI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Aarti:(turns her face round and sees Sahil she cries and screams his name) SAHIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sahil runs towards them and one guy let go of Aarti and starts fighting.Other guys join in 2, but Sahil like a complete typical hero beats the s**t out of all of them.....All are on the floor, all beaten up, balck and blue with bruises and blood. Aarti is scared. Sahil turns to her and sees her crying. He walks up to her, puts her dupatta around her and Aarti hugs him and cries on his chest. Sahil calms her down and takes her from there. They go and sit on a bench in the park. Aarti is still hugging Sahil and when she calms down she realises she is hugging Sahil and let's go. Sahil and Aarti stare deep into each others eyes. (you can clearly see the love for Aarti in Sahil's eyes) Aarti has watery eyes and she gets up. She is breathing heavily. Sahil is confused to her reaction and stands up.
Sahil: kya baath hai Aarti. (puts his hand on Aarti's shoulder)
Aarti: (closes her eyes and then moves a little trying to get his hand off her shoulder) kuch nahi.
Sahil: (turns her around so she's facing him) kuch to baath hai..tell me whats wrong??
Aarti: (looks into his eyes) Sahil mujhe darr lagraha hai
Sahil: darr?? kis baat ka darr??
Aarti: bas vo...(looks away) kuch nahi.
Sahil: (moves her face so she's looking at him) no Aarti tell me. i want to know. i want to know why are you behaving like this.
Aarti: (looks at him with teary eyes) Sahil...(looks down)
Sahil: kahin tumhari zindagi mein koi aur...(Aarti looks up at him immediately)
Aarti: (knods her head saying no) nahi Sahil...(she cries and hugs him tightly) koi nahi hai mere zindagi mein. (Sahil hugs her back tightly) bas darr lagta hai ke kahin mein tumhe kho na don.
Sahil: don't worry Aarti, aisa kuch nahi hoga. main hoon na. i love you aarti. aur mein tumse vaada karta hoon ke mein tumhe kabhi nahi choronga.
Aarti: (hugs him and stops crying) i love you too.
Both are hugging each other, with people walking past. Then all of a sudden they are on their own in a beautiful place. Song is being played Na Tum Jaano Na Hum (Kaho Naa Pyar Hai-just imagine Aarti and Sahil in Hrithik and Amisha's place....) Both are dancing and singing to the song.
Meanwhile back to DhruVedika. Both are enjoying their honeymoon, they go to various places and share very romantic moments. DhruVedika come back to the hotel and Dhruv is in the shower and Vedika decides to call home. (Kavita lot )
Kavita: (answering the call) hello????
Vedika: hello mama... mama mein Vedika.
Kavita: (smiling) ari Vedika beta, kaise ho?? we all are missing you so much.
Vedika: i miss you all 2 mama, mein teekh hoon aap kaise hain? aur ghar mein sab kaise hain?
Kavita: sab teekh hai.
Tara comes running and snatches the phone off Kavita.
Tara: (sounding very excited) hey Vedika....how you doing yaar???????
Vedika: Tara!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im fine how are you?
Tara: im fine but missing you lots.
Vedika: miss you too.
Tara: yeh right... dhruv bhaiya se fursat he kahan ke aap hamein miss karen....(laughs)
Vedika: (blushing) Tara to bhi na.
Tara: kya Tara, its true, Dhruv bhaiya ko hum sab jaante hai im sure he wont be missing any of us.
Vedika: (laughs) acha Suraj kaisa hai???
Tara: he's fine.
Vedika: (sees dhruv coming out the shower) acha lo Dhruv se baat karo???
Dhruv: (takes the phone) hello?
Tara: dhruv bhaiya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (jumps up) kaise ho aap.
Dhruv: im fine Tara tum kaise ho?
Tara: im fine bhaiya, missing you so much....jaldi aaona we're all missing you so much.
Dhruv: haan haan jaldi ayenge. (looks at Vedika and winks) acha mama kahan hai.
Tara: mama yahen hai, lo baat karo.
Kavita: haan dhruv beta how are you?
Dhruv: im fine mom..aap kaise ho? aur papa..how's papa
Kavita: mein bhi teekh hoon, aur papa bhi teekh hai, tum humare chinta mat karo tum sirf Vedika ke bari mein socho...
Dhruv: (shyly) kya mom aap bhi...
Kavita: kya mom, im saying the truth...take care of her ok.
Dhruv: ok mom, Vedika ka mein special khayaal rakhonga. that you don't worry about.(looks at Vedika and gives her a cheeky smile)
Kavita: ok beta take care bye.
Dhruv: bye mom.
Dhruv disconnects and looks at Vedika and gives a cheeky smile.
Vedika: baat hogaye ab do phone, mujhe mama se baat karne hai?
Dhruv: mama se to baat hogaye...
Vedika: Dhruv??????????
Dhruv: (laughs) jus joking Vedika.
Vedika: (makes a funny face) very funny joke, now give me the phone.
Dhruv: (moes his hand away whilst vedika is trying to get it) no
Vedika: (getting very irritated) dhruv do na...
Dhruv: no...
Vedika starts running after dhruv. Dhruv doesn't give it.Vedika gets fed up and sits on the bed. Dhruv smiles and comes and sits near her.
Dhruv: kya huwa janu...
Vedika: don't call me janu.
Dhruv: teekh hai janu.
Vedika looks at him angrily.
Dhruv: (laughs) come on janu i was just teasing you, kya mera itna bhi haq nahi banta? (with both hands on each of her shoulders)
Vedika: haan haan banta hai, magar ab do na...
Dhruv: kya??
Vedika: phone aur kya???
Dhruv: say please.
Vedika: please.
Dhruv: say pretty pretty please.
Vedika: (loses it) dhruv...i'll killl you...(pushes him down in that ultimate position and puts her hand around his throat)
Dhruv: ari janu what r you doing??
Vedika: tum aise he maanoge... ab do phone...??
Dhruv: ari tumhe white sari pehne ka itna shook hai kya?
Vedika: (confused look) white sari... kay matlab???
Dhruv: ari matlab widow's clothes yaar...
Vedika: kya???
Dhruv: ari yaar tumne aise pakrah hai jaise ke tum abhi ishi waqt mera murder karne wale ho.
Vedika: (laughs) vo to mein karongi.(lets go of his throat and gets up)
Dhruv: (sits up)ari ab kya huwa?? murder karne ka eradha badal diya kya???
Vedika: (turns around so she's facing him) nahi to, bas kuch tyaari karne hai, tumhara murder karne ki...(talks very sexingly and winks)
Dhruv: (smiles) sexy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Vedika goes into the bathroom, and Dhruv sits on the bed waiting for Vedika.lies down on the bed. He's still got wet hair, he lies their straight with his eyes closed.
Dhruv: (looking at his watch) janu.....kitne dheer lagaogi. jaldi karona....
Vedika: (shouting from the bathroom) haan bas aaye....
Dhruv: jaldi karo na baba...(suddenly all lights go off and the only light in the room is the light coming from the moon.) (under his breath to himself) ari ye light ko kya hogaya....(to vedika) ek minute vedika light chalegaye mein reception par phone karta hoon (dhruv leans down to get the phone-basically he's lying on the bed)
Vedika: reception par phone karne ke koi zaroorat nahi hai, lights main he off karvayen hai.
Dhruv is surprised and looks towards Vedika, who is standing wearing a very very sexy dress.(It's a black small dress- one arm totally sleeveless with the other a thin strip- it's a short top and you can see a bit of her bare stomach- she's got a matching black mini skirt, with a small split on the side--may sound tarty but it really isn't) Dhruv is speechless.he blinks slowly in shock. 😉
