When i saw the promo's of LNMDJ the 1st thing that striked my mind was Colombia Telenovela (soap opera) Pasion De Gavilanes (Passion of Hawks)

There are lot of things common in both the shows:Three brothers-sisters, revenge from the family, enter the family with a motive but fall in love with the daughters of the house.

Those who want to know the story of Pasion De Gavilanes can check the below link.

@Tina:The concept seems to be inspired from PDG 3 brothers come 2 take revenge from the family falls in love with the three daughters of the house.

But the main question here is why does Ila Gujral send Prithvi's father in jail? Maybe he comes to know some secret & he has to pay for this by going to jail so that the truth doesn't come out in open.

shruti thats the reason why we need to watch it hehe..i have no idea bout it but from the synopsis they made it sound like the guys father is good so it made me think maybe there's a misunderstanding n their dad have been framed n Ila also thinks that he is guilty
i wonder if the 3 daughter's r Ila's kids or juz relative?

@Tina:I didn't watch PDG as well but i had read the synopsis of the show once while surfing on net.

Prithivi-Damini enter on horse reminds of 1st lead pair of the other show.

@Jhanvi:Hulchul's story was different than LNMDJ it was like 4 bro & family rivallary. But the common factor is revenge part in both the movies. As usual the hero falls for heroine.

@payal:Almost all shows take inspiration of either story or some upcoming track from a movie so nothing new.

shruti: Just read the synopsis, actually here is the synopsis of the show as per wikipedia::
The plot centered around the three Reyes brothers, Juan, Franco and Oscar (played by Mario Cimarro, Michel Brown, and Juan Alfonso Baptista). Gabriela is the wife of a rich ranch owner and her husband had been having an affair with the Reyes brothers' younger sister- Libia (played by Ana Luca Domnguez). Libia fell in love with him and when the old hacienda owner died, she committed suicide. The Reyes brothers put the blame of the death of their sister with the Elizondo household and plot revenge with them by pretending to be construction workers/house makers in their hacienda. The Reyes brothers unexpectedly fall for the three daughters, Norma, Sarita and Jimena (played by Danna Garcia, Natasha Klauss, and Paola Rey) of the wealthy widow Gabriela Elizondo (played by veteran actress Kristina Lilley), who owns a neighboring hacienda.

Juan Reyes is a tall, strong man with shoulder length brown hair. He is the most protective, especially of Libia. He is usually quiet and calm, but when provoked he can be very impulsive. He is deeply hurt by his sister's death, since he loved her very much. He is ready to revenge Libia's death, by tricking Bernando's daughters as he had done to Libia. When he meets Norma, he is amazed by her beauty and feels a connection between them. She is short with long blonde hair and has an exquisite face. She was raped by an intruder and was forced to marry a rather insensitive man to escape family shame. She is shaken and can not accept for any man to touch her, including her husband. But when she meets Juan, all those fears go away and she falls in love with him. After many obstucules, they later marry and have a small boy, Juan David who has Norma's pale skin and Juan's large eyes.

Oscar Reyes is the second oldest. He is handsome, well-built and has a beautiful smile. He can be arrogant, rude and very greedy at times. But he is a good man at heart and is incredibly clever. And sometimes he schemes to get money, like for example he makes his younger brother go on dates with older, rich woman to make money. Jimena is a beautiful girl who wants to live life to the fullest and immediately takes a liking to the Reyes brothers. She truly does fall in love with Oscar and is joyed when he asks her to marry him. At first he is mostly interested in her money, but has to admit that there is something special about her. As time passes, he discovers that he loves far more than he expected to. He learns that love is much more important than money and that he would't care if she was rich or poor as long as she was at his side.

Franco Reyes is smaller than his brothers, and is more relaxed than his family. He has light brown hair, blue eyes and has a rather innocent face. People mostly do take advantage of his kindness. He is in love with Rosairo, a bar dancer who mostly just humiliates him. When she marries the greedy bar owner, he is crushed. Out of spite, he marries an old, rich woman who had been obsessed with him. She dies on their wedding day leaving all her money to Franco. Sarita is serious, uptight and manages her family's hacienda. Although she is beautiful, she would rather be with the horses than with boys her age. But then she and Franco fall in love after many incidents between them. She later comes out of her shell and learns that she can not control who she falls in love with.

Libia Reyes is a beautiful 17-year-old girl. She is quiet, sweet, rather innocent and loves her brother very much, despite their overprotective manners. She lives in a poor bario and lives a humble life. She doesn't go out much, and it's suggested that she never had a boyfriend before, because of her brothers' protectiveness. When she meets Bernando Elizando, she falls in love with him despite the major age difference. Bernando lies to her, telling her that he is single and lives with his sister and three nieces. But he also falls in love with her. The Reyes brothers find out about them and they are all furious that she didn't tell them. Especially that Bernando is much older than all of them. But when Libia gets pregnant, they allow the marriage between their sister and Bernando. Bernando dies in an accident, leaving Libia depressed and raged because of his lies. Encouraged by a nosy store owner and her sons, she goes to the Elizando mansion to talk to Bernando's wife. She is humiliated by Gabriela Elizando, who calls her a slut and a gold digger in front of everybody. Crying hysterically, she leaves the mansion, completely humilatied. Libia then proceeds to kill herself by jumping off a bridge and falling in a lake. When her brothers find out, they are devastated and swear on their sister's tomb that they'll revenge her death. Later on the Reyes brothers meet Ruth, a rich girl who looks exactly like Libia. The Reyes brothers are amazed by their resemblance and consider her their adoptive little sister. Ruth represents the symbol the Reyes brothers can still hold to Libia. It is later revealed that Ruth is the Reyes' cousin, explaining Libia and Ruth's resemblance.

The plot reaches a climax when Gabriela marries a very dangerous suitor, and a former son-in-law, Fernando Escandn (Juan Pablo Shuk). He manages to alienate Gabriela's family, virtually take control of the estate, and spend much of her money on gambling and raucous living. Gabriela refuses to see the truth until it is too late and she soon finds herself in grave danger. The Reyes brothers must then take action.
So i guess this all points to Inder and that Ila is too blackmailed if they go by the above show(with some creative liberties of course), you really think we will have any of the couple actually marrying each other or it would be more like dating and breaking the heart type of thing.

well spotted👏

Oh my god!! this is soo awesome! it is actually taken from Passion of hawks!! Oh my god this is funny but cool!! the characters have so much similarities!! and inder blacmailing Illa???and threatening to take over her empire!! that could be a possibility!! hence her behaviour!! i hope they try and add their own originality to it though!! but boy oh boy the three reyes bros are very similar to the saxena brothers!! all of them, only this time they are avenging their fathers death while the reyes brothers were doing it for their sister!! I hope Balraj doesn't have a lookalike though who reappears after sometime!! Even the sisters are so similar except for Roshs character i guess coz sarita is uptight and Rosh isn't!!😆.while jemena and norma have glaring similarities to the other 2 sisters. From the passion of hawks it looks like inder-illa are going to get married sometime in the future and the saxena bros will help the sisters in stopping the wedding!! that would be hilarious!!!then everyone can finally be happy and everyone will forgive eachother and then all of us can be happy again!!😆This was an excellent catch.!!
