oh, what to wtf, what to wtf? 🤣 in case you didn't get it, wtf isn't your .. er .. standard everyday wtf.🤣 it stands for weekend thoughts feature. if you didn't know that, if you didn't think that... well, do remember it the next time you see it, wouldja?? 😆
wtf#1: the most striking thing 'bout last week was ... prem in formal white shirt with his sleeves rolled up is back!!!! *i'm soooo back in the job, and lovin' it!! 🤣*
wtf#2: the next most striking thing 😆 was that we got prem-heer's shiv-mandir meeting #3.
where prem tells heer -- using vocal chords this time!🤣 -- that he wanted to know that she still knew him. where heer tells prem that everything that is heer starts from and ends in prem. where prem tells her that he will abandon anyone who tries to come between prem-heer-are-one. and that while the world still worships a god, they will never be separated.
and as i write this, i wondered: if prem should find out that gayatri-mom's trying to wreck prem-heer-are-one, then for him will that mean that there is no more god? 'cause for prem, gayatri-mom is god, no? if he should know 'bout her plans, would he stop believing in god?
what would happen to prem-heer-are-one then? hmmmm....
wtf#3: i wrote this in my last bt,lt -- but did anyone else also wonder what happened to prem-heer between heer walking away from ''samir'' back home, and prem-heer wishing preet well for his presentation the next morning?
did heer come back home, to sleep next to prem? did they not meet? did they not talk? did prem not ask heer why she left? did heer not tell prem what happened?
'cause i think all the above did happen, should've happened. i guess this is for them to know and for us to w&w&find-out?
wtf#4: i liked how preet thanking heer linked up today's juneja family to the dark days when the juneja family did not have prem. i think that's important. during the days that heer and prem ''i'm-pretending-i'm-hip-hop-'cause-i-have-a-hole'' juneja were quarrelling, i was afraid that the creatives would try to forget - and make us forget! - that prem had ever... er ... apparently died.
so i liked it when preet talked 'bout it. just as i had liked when that weird couple who met prem-heer in that couples-only-club talked 'bout what heer had done for the junejas when prem was ... er ... apparently dead. 'cause i think prem (who was away from the detailed misery of her life) had to be told how and why the junejas had so much love for heer.
and i think that's just one more thing that further cemented prem-heer-are-one for prem...
wtf#5: hope said in one of the bt,lt's this week that she was tired of heer constantly having to prove herself, while prem constantly puts her to the test.
somehow i think this is the ultimate test for prem -- standing by heer inspite of his own mother trying to break them up. and somehow? i think prem will stand by heer. just 'cause everything that we've seen of prem-heer from ''shhhh! tumhey maa ka vaada poora karna hai, na?'' to today says so. yes, yes. i include that horrible ''you have 10 minutes to take what you want and leave, heer'' act of prem's. even that is going to go into prem-heer-are-one.
well, of course, i just think so. and in the interest of full disclosure, i'm more often wrong than right when i try to guess what's gonna happen in the show... 😆
wtf#6: ram-bharat-lakshman rule! seriously, i think my second most favourite segment last week just had to be prem and harman teasing preet 'fore the presentation. and preet weakly asking for pardon looking like he was going to be sick... 😆 i soooo loved the ram-bharat-lakshman angle 'bout prem-harman-preet when the show first started. and i am soooo loving it now. go, you three juneja brothers! woot-woot-woot!
and i wonder: in this mad gementor plan, will we get to see the entire juneja family standing behind prem and heer, and just vitchface veera and gementor on the other side? or *be still my hopeful heart!* will it be just vitchface verea on the other side??!!! man, i sooo want to see that!!!
wtf#7: hmmm. y'know one thing that was missing last week in the juneja family dynamics? lalit-juneja becoming more uncomfortable with gementor's behaviour. he was just getting paranoid 'bout prem-heer-are-one.
'cause i thought that was glaringly missing when preet gives his salary to heer, all lalit-juneja did was smile. he didn't even seem to be disturbed when gementor walked out of the room abruptly!
actually, no-one else but vitchface went out to her. of course, they could open monday's show with either lalit-juneja or prem coming out to ask gementor if everything is alright. but still... it was just sooo stark. the happiness on the faces of all the junejas inside at preet's act. and outside, gementor sounding increasingly different from the god-like gayatri-mom. and vitchface looking happy at that. 🤢
wtf#8: btw, i wonder if i should create a regular feature called ''the most absurd thing we've ever seen on this show'' from this weekend on.
'cause this week, heer walking out on her parent's death anniversary pooja, and no-one appearing to care that she is missing during the pooja!!! would definitely be awarded that feature! what the... ??? that was beyond insane! i thought it was insane that they showed only prem disturbed that she was not there. i thought that lalit-juneja would be the first one to bust a blood-vessel at that! but there is no one else reacting!!! man, that was a stooooooooooooooooooooopid script blooper! totally intolerable! 😡
wtf#9: last one. so. what is up with gayatri-mom turned gementor??
y'know? when gayatri-mom first started talking sagi-sautela stuff after vitchface got pregnant and started pretending that she was suffering in the middle class house of nihaal maan, i found it unacceptable. when she targetted heer as a lesson meant for nihaal to understand vitchface's agony, i found it unacceptable.
but! i might be persuaded to believe she finds prem's total allegiance to heer ... a little difficult to swallow. oh, don't get me wrong. i don't think it justifies her turning into ... lalit-juneja. who would willingly sacrifice his son's happiness to make sure that his promise to his beloved old friend would be fulfilled. i don't think gayatri-mom's ever been shown as the type who would sacrifice prem's happiness just to get her own. 'cause if so, she could've emotionally blackmailed prem to leave heer and not the jzoo when lalit-juneja disowned prem!
but i think that it is interesting how the actress plays gementor: her face is almost completely passive; her eyes are dead. but her voice has true anger and heat -- and i think there is a bit of sorrow, a bit of regret in her words? she is feeling bad that prem may actually take heer's side in a battle between heer vs. gayatri-mom?? i'd said it before and so i was startled to hear her say it: ''i've loved prem even to the detriment of my own children," i always thought that she was not a good mother in how she gave so much love and attention to prem, and not enough to her own children. is it possible then that she could feel the need to find out how much prem will blindly believe her - over heer?
so after all that complicated, confused thinking 😆 - i think that either gayatri-mom's bluffing to vitchface about the reasons why she's doing all this... or the creatives are butchering gayatri-mom's character to show that prem will stand with heer through everything, against anyone.
and *ahem* i believe that she is bluffing to vitchface. yes. to teach her a lesson. and one of the (many) reasons i believe she is doing all this is 'cause i remember a scene from the last time that gayatri-mom did a drama to ''prove to vitchface and harman that prem is pavitra.'' remember a scene where gayatri-mom is looking at the photograph of prem-kuldi's dead mother? and crying and wondering where she had gone wrong with her children? i think that gayatri-mom is taking such drastic measures 'cause she is seriously feeling guilty that she neglected vitchface's upbringing. and this is her last ditch effort to teach vitchface what love is all about. 'cause if vitchface doesn't learn this now, gayatri-mom will have to give up on this girl-child of hers forever. and abandon her forever.
trouble is? i don't see how vitchface is gonna learn. we have never seen any good coming from her - not a good word, no understanding of other people's good nature, no appreciation of her very own pb's love for her. me? i don't have any hopes for vitchface. all i can do is wish gayatri-mom well. and enjoy seeing vitchface nearly get a heartattack when prem-heer-are-one will come through loud and strong and clear through even when she had ''maa'' apparently on her side!
