First of all, I'm sorry to the person who this one is for--it's super short, I just kinda liked the idea--doubt that I did justice to it though! đł *hides face* And another thing--I do have some more pending one shots to write for my friends, but they shall be around a bit later...I'm feeling too blah lately over some stuff! đ

A girl is sprawled across the table in her college library confused over a chemistry question in her problem set when her cell phone started vibrating, startling her.
"Hello?" she whispered.
"Tum itni ahiste kyun bol rahi ho?" her mom asked on the other end.
"Main library mein hoon," she told her mom.
"Okay to suno. Aaj humare ghar pe ek mehmaan aa raha hain. Tumhare papa ka dost ka beta hain and I want YOU to prepare the guest room for him."
The girl groaned to herself. "What time will he be there?"
"At around 7 so be home as quickly as you can."
She looked down at her watch and sighed. It was already 5 and it would take her at least 30 minutes to reach home. This last equation would have to wait. "I'll leave right now." She told her mom before hanging up. She quickly gathered all her supplies from the table and rushed out of the library.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
She arrived home as quickly as she could and started cleaning the spare bedroom. While she is running around with her hair tied in two identical plaits down her shoulders and her wearing an old pair of black leggings with a turquoise colored shirt on top.
"Are you down yet? He'll be here any minute now!" Her mom called from downstairs.
"Almost mum! I'm just changing the sheets on the bed in his room." She called back while muttering to herself, thinking about how much work she still had left when the doorbell rang, taking her out of her thoughts and making her panic that she only had the fitted sheet on so far.
She starts scrambling around arranging the sheets and while her back is turned towards the door she could feel a shadow approaching her. The minute she turns around she falls back onto the bed and the person who was at that point directly behind her was now on top of her.
"Geâet off!" she tried screaming.
She pushes the guy off of her, and stands up and bushes herself off right away.
"Well then, that was an interesting way to meet na?" He laughs and puts out his hand for a handshake.
She couldn't help but smile. All the guys she knew would say something completely inappropriate at this moment, but here was someone different. She slid her hand into his and shakes it.
"Mere naam Prem hain, aur aapka?" He said.
"Just because you're in Mumbai, doesn't mean you need to talk in hindi! I'm Anza." She answered.
"Well thanks for that piece of advice Anza; I trust we'll be seeing a lot of each other." Prem said.
"Oh really why is that?" Anza asked as she glanced down at their hands which were still together.
"We are going to be living in the same house for the next two weeks..." Prem answered, smiling at her.
Anza started feeling a bit embarrassed at her stupidity and blushed. She reluctantly pulled her hand away, and brushes away a stray strand of her hair behind her ear. She finishes up the bed quickly and is about walk out of the room when Prem grabs her hand and pulls her back to him. "Pigtails look cute on you." He quietly whispered into her ears, leaving her feeling a bit breathless.
Her heart started racing when she saw him smirk at her and then walk out of the room. Kya horaha hain mujhe? He's just a guyâI've seen plenty of them in my lifetime.. Yet there was something that told herâPrem was different. He was special in a wayâand she couldn't wait to find out how.
I always appreciate some honesty guys! đ So Anyways let me know how it was! đ
Love you all loads,
