i read the back of the book...if its like a hardcover and nothing is on the back then i read the two inside flaps =)

and sometimes the title/front cover interests me too

well of course if i have heard of the author
i pick that book up first
turn it around to read the backcover
if the story clicks my taste...thats it

if the author of the book i pick up is new to me
the backcover is the sole criteria of me getting that book

i once bought a book only coz i heard a lot bout that author
without reading the backcover i bought it
i found it thee worst book i've ever read
never again did i buy a book without reading what the story is bout

I am afraid-I usually go by the author-if its one of my favourites I simply go for it-after reading the back cover of course!

I've tried to get out of this comfort zone-usually tryying out a few new authors. then, I usually check out the back cover and also skim through the book. Titles also attract me a lot. The title's the thing that makes me pick up a book in the first place!

The cover rarely matters to me-though the better the cover the more alusive-unless it seems to add a great deal more price to the book-which it usually does!!!

The cover of the book has alot to do with it, but i also read the summary at the back.

The coverpage attracts me...and the cover of the book...
but they say..dont judge the book by its cover...
so...a genre of the book also attracts me...romance is sumthing i absolutely suggest..!!.. i dont like action or thrillers....non fiction books..
i am more into fiction..!!!
and the names of the protagonists...😆..no..really..a bad name for a protagonist really turns me off....so that too..
