Chapter 1
Past: I walked down stairs waiting for my destiney to take place. I saw the madap in front of me as I walked.Today Prem......and I.....Heer will take the vows and become husband and wife, but love was no where near our lives.....
chapter1
Past: I was sitting in front of my room trembling because today a family was coming for my alliance. Here mostly in Indian only one percent of people have love marriages while the other 99.9 percent have an arranged marriag. Why do they do that? But, KI had to obey my mom yes my mom not my dad. Dad had died in a car accident when I was five. He left me with mom, Aslesha, and Meher. During that time dad's muisic company was going through finacial crisis which meant mom had to take over the company. FDuring that time I was left with naannaies, but during that time Ashlesha gave us her affection not feeling empty for love. But, six months ago I found out that Ashlesha had blood cancer and it was on the last stage whichj meant it couldn't be cured. Onthe smae day she had declared her last wish wich was to see me getting married.
Since thatr day mom had statted to find alliances for me. Three days ago she found a alliance for me from Prem Junja the famous CEO of Juneja Group of In dustries. He had acheived sucees at the age of twenty-five and is the ost elgible bachelor in Mumbaiu. This Portfolio quite impressed her. So here I was stuck in the middle. I sat in fron t of the mirror checking me one more time. I wore an anarkali dress and just put my hair down. I looked plain not beautiful, but plain.
I heard the doorbell and peaked through the door. It was them I saw Mr. and Mrs.Juneja and then a guy wearing Levi jeans, then a girl wearing skinnny jeans. Then I saw him....he had a black coat on and a morron shirt on. The shirt's top buttons were opened, so it revealed his chest. I turned around blushing, but wait isn't this a fast reaction. I saw Ashlesha and Meher coming to get me. So, I quickly sat on my bed pretending that I saw nothing. "Heer are yoyu ready?' Ashlesha asked giving me a smile. I nodded and got up.
I walked slowly downstairs fiddling with my duptaa to nervous. I slowly walked to them and took Mr. Juneja's blessings, then the Mrs.Juneja's blessings. "Heer beta come and sit here and meet Preet and Arhoui." I slowly sat down and saw that Prem had moved a little from me since we were sitting on the same sofa. Everyone talked and laughed while I was stealing glances at Prem. "Heer beta you could go upstairs and talk to Prem." mrs.Juneja said. I nodded and walked up stairs quitly. We walked to my room and sat on ym bed. I could feel that Prem was looking at my, but I just tried to ignore him. "Anyways so who else is in your family?" I asked trying to create conversation. "Oh jus Kulraj di, Kiran jiju, and Tannu my niece." "Oh so what's your favorite hobby?" "Nothing." Prem responded. "Okay, so did you have any friend in college?" Then I saw his expressions change. Now his eyes flared with anger. His eyes were bloodshoot red and his eyes were surrounded with the darkness of anger. Before I knew it he grabbed my arm and pinned me right against the wall. He squeezed my shoulder so hard that I secreamed out loud. "How dare you talk about my past!" He asked moving his face forward and forward to me. "How dare you?!" "Don't ever talk about my past! Do you get that?!" I just nodded. "And if you tell anybody then you don't know what I'll do to you and I mean it." Prem threw me right on to the bed and stomped right out of my room. Tears were streaming down my face. What should I do? Should I say yes if i do then I'll get torturd the rest of my life seeing the incident today. But, I can't say no I mean Ashlesha has only one more month before she's....dead. What shoulld I do?
Character Sketch:
Heer Maan:sweet and caring, but stuck between tradtions and her heart. Heer wanted a love marriage, but got forced into an arranged marriage. Will she ever be able to fall in love?
Vaishali Maan- mother of Heer, but ever gave love she was always too invoved in work.
Ashlesha Maan- elder sister of Heer, but means as a best friend to them. But, life is going to end since Ashlesha has blood cancer.
Meher Maan-Bubbliesh, and sweet always waited for the right guy until she meets the naughty Preet.
Prem Juneja- while girls drool over him he doesn't care a bit. He is very short-tempered and it all started from what happend in the past with him.
Gayathri Juneja- loves her sons and her daughter alot and loves her soon to be daughter-in-law Heer Maan.
Preet Juneja-naughty and sweet, but becomes more annoying when he meets Meher.
Arhoi Junja- younger and sabki ladli. Arhoi also has a best friend Arjun Punj they have know eachother since childhood.
Arjun Punj- When he starts to work in the same office with Arhoi his feelings change towards her best friend.
