TV stars cross over to the dark side

Maybe because it's slimming, stylish or just safe but the television brigade, unlike their onscreen personas, love the colour black. Actors are always seen in very bright and colorful traditional clothes on their serials. But when they step out of their reel life images, they tend to balance things out wearing black outfits - all the time!
Ronit Roy
Mostly seen in white as Dharmaraj on Bandini (NDTV Imagine), Ronit Roy loves wearing black when he's not shooting. We've spotted him in the colour at parties, hanging out and even at personal functions. And whether he's in formals or casuals, black is Ronit's colour of choice.
Parul Chauhan
While Ragini is often seen in beautiful, colourful sarees on Bidaai (Star Plus), she normally wears black when the time comes to pack up for the day. Parul also admits that it's her favourite colour.
Shweta Tiwari
Shweta is presently seen playing the lead role of Aradhana on Jane Kya Baat Hui (Colors) and is also a co-host on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (Sony). She's known for her bright personality, amazing body, beautiful hair, good height and killer smile and that's why we can't phantom why she wouldn't want to experiment with colour when she's not shooting. Instead, the actress keeps her dressing elegant (and slightly boring) by wearing black.
Kinshuk Mahajan
Kinshuk, who plays Ranbir on Bidaai (Star Plus), is yet another actor obsessed with black. And he's often wearing the colour, whether he's at formal events or parties. At parties, we usually see him in black tees or black pants and as he is fair, the colour suits him.
Ekta Kapoor
The former soap queen is known to be very superstitious. Just like she considers the alphabet 'K' lucky for her when it comes to naming her shows or movies, she also strongly believes that the colour black is auspicious. And right now, she needs all the luck she can get and wears the colour as often as she can.
