Written Update April 10, 2009

Amma tries to stall the puja in the beginning so that Shastriji can bring Vishakha back. Shastriji spots Vishakha in the train just when it starts moving and is unable to stop her. Dev and Radhika do the rituals of the puja till the end. After the puja gets over, Deepika says she wants to see the Choti Bahu's face and starts lifting the ghoonghat.

Dev to Radhika: Come let's go and complete the rituals

At purohit bhavan the puja is about to start and Chacha asks everyone to be seated and asks the priest to start. Deepika looks sad and Chacha asks her why she is hesitant.

Just then Dev walks in and Birju spots him and announces that Dev bhayya has come. Everyone turns to look at Dev and Radhika who come and stand beside him. Arjun is angry.

Everyone except Mrinalini, Chacha and Arjun feel relieved and happy. Deepika goes to them.

Vaishali: Come in Choti Bahu

Dadi: No stop, don't come in ! Everyone looks at her and Dev is uncomfortable. He asks what happened, Dadi?

Dadi to Vaishali – Did you forget that we should greet them like newly weds? Bring the arti.

Deepika says she wants to see Choti Bahu's face and tries to lift the ghoonghat. Dev stops her and says she can after the puja.

Dadi: Yes, we all will see her face after the puja. We need to save her from evil eyes (buri nazar) till the end of puja.

Mrinalini tries to irritate everyone and says to CB: You made us all wait for so long. Anyway, it's a relief that you at least came.

They all welcome them in and keep the thaali to make the foot print at the door. Mrinalini is irritated and says this is the third time. Why is it needed?

Dadi: This is called 'shagun chaap' (auspicious imprint of foot). It is so that future generations will follow them.

At the railway station, poor Shastriji is desperately searching for Vishakha.

Back in PB, Dadi ushers them in to make the foot prints.

Dev: Lets take these steps together. He then extends his hand which (finally) Radhika holds and they both walk in (a very very cute scene !!! must see)

Amma and Devki also come behind them and purohit family greets them too. Dadi asks where Shastriji and Radhika are.

Amma: There is a puja at the dharamshala. They will come after finishing that.

Priest and Dadi ask the couple to sit in front of agni. Just then amma asks them to stop (not again !!!) and everyone looks surprised.Mrinalini has a 'now what' look.

Amma says that they too have a ritual to wash the Choti Bahu's feet before she sits for the puja. Dadi says ok, we can get the water here but amma cleverly says that the ritual says that it should be done in privacy (oh god…where are these people from !!). Dadi asks the priest how much time is left and he says '10 minutes'. Dadi then tells amma to take her.

Shastriji is still looking around and asking people if they have spotted a girl traveling alone.

Back in a room in PB, amma asks Radhika to wipe her feet. And mutters 'God knows if Lalla has found Vishakha'.

Devki with a worried look: Ammaji, we have very less time. Do we make Radhika do the puja?

Radhika: No, I cannot sit for the puja. I have never been inside a temple in my life since my cast is not known.

Just then someone knocks on the door.

Radhika quickly covers her face and sits on the bed. Mrinalini comes in and Devki tells her that they were about to come down. Mrinalini walks to Radhika and asks: why are you in ghoonghat in your own house? Why don't you remove it here?

Dadi intervenes and says that they cannot disobey what others have said. And then they all leave.

Birju to Dev: Dev bhayya thank God, bhabhi finally came back. But why are you still upset?

Dev: How do I explain to you?

By then Radhika is brought back and the priests start chanting the mantra. Radhika looks hesitantly at Kanha before sitting down and suddenly a flower falls on her hand from His garland. Everyone is happy seeing that and Dadi says that it is a good omen.

Dev to Radhika: You supported me till here. Be with me for what lies in front of us.

Priest asks the bride to keep her hand on the husband's. As during the wedding, a tear drops on her hand and Dev notices it and feels sad. They finish the rituals and the priest proclaims them as Purohit and Purohitain. Everyone gets up for the arti and Dev and Radhika do the arti together. They then touch the elders' feet.

Deepika says: Now I want to see your face. And starts lifting the ghoonghat. Dev and Radhika are tense.

Shastriji is talking to Dev over phone and says he will get Vishakha from the next station and make her understand and bring her back. Don't worry.
