Radhika dear! It's not kismet but Vishaka, dayin Aama, Devki and yourself who are responsible for you not being called and known as Dev's wife.Kismet has given you the opportunity again and again for the truth to be revealed.
Highlights:
Dev is upstairs and overhears Vishaka saying she doesn't want to be the Choti Bahu any more.
Dev scolds her and tells her that his mom and dadi have been doing all these for years.
Vaishali and Dadi take Vishaka's part and they think because she is feeling overwhelmed with all these new responsibilities that she has snapped.
Radhika is beseeching Kanha not to let untoward happen to Vishaka and Dev jodi, and that the pooja happens without any problem.
Dadi brings Vishaka in her room to rest.
Vishaka is angry with Dev and thinks to herself you think I will do as you say, but think again Mr. Dev.
Dadi sends Birju to Shastriji's house with some clothes that Dadi wants them to give on their behalf as what Dev and Vishaka have to wear has to come from their maayka.
Shastriji gives the saree he bought to Vishaka to Radhika and tells her to wear it tomorrow.
Birju tells Radhika that Dadi has told her to come to the pooja. She is tensed.
Vaishali comes to call Vishaka to make prasad.
Vishaka is tired and has been rolling ladoos till 03.00 am.
Dadi comes to her, and she thinks she is about to go to sleep, Dadi tells her to shower and come do morning aarti.
Vishaka is on the verge of breaking point.
She does the aarti along with the whole family and passes the taali to Deepika. She leaves to have some water. Dadi stops her and reminds her of the nirjal vraat.
Radhika and Shastriji are talking and sharing their worries about Vishaka. They conclude that they must have faith on Kanha. He explains to her that the Raj Purohit reet rivaj is very similar to the marriage rituals and that if the wife makes mistakes in the reet rivaj, it will affect the health of the husband.
Vishaka is eating food in her room, not wanting to follow nirjal vrat.
Radhika decides to follow nirjal vrat.
She says even though kismet has not given her the right to be called Dev's wife, she will abide by her duties as a wife and as long as she is alive, nothing untoward will fall her husband.
Detailed Update:
Vishaka shouts that she wants to be free from all these responsibilities, and that she has become distressed because of this. Dev is coming downstairs and overhears her. She says I don't want to remain the Choti Bahu of this house. Dev asks her what is she saying. Vishaka tells him exactly what you are hearing. She says I cannot tolerate all this any more. Vaishali asks her whether someone has said something to her. She retorts whether someone has said something or not, doesn't make any difference to me. Dev tells her to stop now. Dev tries to mellow the issue in front of Vaishali and Dadi. He says you got scared seeing the responsibilities you will have to handle in the future. He says mom and Dadi have been doing this for years. Dadi and Vaishali stop Dev from scolding Vishaka. Vaishali makes her sit and she lovingly explains that she understands that she is feeling like she won't be able handle all this. But when you need me, I will help you. Vaishali asks Dev, you will help too. He acquiesces. Dadi adds she is sure that Choti Bahu will handle everything. Dadi tells her to rest, they will handle everything. Vishaka is thinking, that we will see. I will not do these useless tasks.
Radhika seeing that the light of the diya has gone out, she panics and asks Kanha what has he done. Oh what has he done. This was lit for Vishaka and Dev. Nothing must go wrong in the pooja. In this pooja Vishaka will understand her responsibilities. She asks Kanha to hear her, as it is Vishaka has suffered so much because of her.
Dadi takes Vishaka to her room and tells her to rest. The pooja is later, when they will need her, they will call her. Dadi leaves. Vishaka is angry and says how dare Dev shout at me. What does he think of himself. What does he think, that I will get scared of him, that I will listen to all what he says. She says No Mr. Dev, nothing like this will happen. She calls Purab and is restless. His phone is on voice mail, she leaves a message to him to get back to her asap as it is a matter of life and death.
Vaishali tells Dadi that she is worried about Vishaka and all that she said. There must be some ground for why she behaved like that. Dadi says don't worry, Vishaka must have felt overwhelmed with all these new responsibilities. She tells her to trust God and that everything will be fine. Dadi call Birju and tells him to check in the kitchen and see if they need anything and then bring these clothes to Shastriji. She explains that the clothes that Dev and Vishaka will wear tomorrow has to come from Vishaka's maayka. She adds that be careful when you talk to them and don't hurt their ego. Just tell them that they thought they wouldn't have time to think of that, having to prepare to come to Delhi. She also adds, this time make sure Radhika comes. Birju is tensed. Dadi tells him to take the bags and leave. Birju reaches Shastriji's house by car. He is pensive. He sees Radhika and calls her. She is surprised to see him. He has that Dadi has sent him and that he has brought clothes. He adds that Dadi has said that everyone must come to the pooja. Radhika is tensed. Shastriji sees Birju and is happy. Birju tells him that Dadi was shopping and liked this saree for Vishaka, so she thought you could give it as on his behalf. Shastriji says but I just so many sarees for Vishaka. Aama says look lallah at how great and expensive theirs is and look at ours. She says she is the bahu of a reputed family now. She tells him to let her wear the Dadi sent. Shastriji agrees. He gives the one he bought to Radhika, telling her to wear it tomorrow for the pooja.
It's night. Vaishali comes to Vishaka's room. She asks her whether she is fine and has rested. She acquiesces. She then adds there is tomorrow's prasad to cook and it takes some time to cook, so we will do tonight. She says both dadi and me will stay with you. Dev comes in the room. Vaishali tells Vishaka that she will have to cook it herself. Vishaka is making ladoos and it's 03.00 am. She is falling asleep while making ladoos. Some lady brings some more and more. Vaishali sees the time and tells Vishaka to go and shower. Vishaka is annoyed and is getting fed up. She didn't sleep and now more pooja. She is doing the aarti. She give the taali to Deepika and leaves. She is yawning and coming to the dinning table to get some water. Dadi walks by and sees her. She stops her and tells her not to drink it. Vishaka asks why, is there anything wrong with it. Dadi says did you forget, the pandit told you to keep nirjal vraat. Vishaka is on the breaking point. Dadi takes her along.
Shastriji is pensive. Radhika comes to him. She says you are so tired but if you drink this tea, you will feel rejuvenated. She asks whether he is worried about Vishaka. She says have faith in Kanha, I am sure he will make Vishaka realise her duties. Shastriji asks her whether Kanha listens to her. She says yes. She adds Vishaka is young and immature, she will take some time to understand. Just give her some time. He says it would be good if Kanha made her realise her duties and responsibilities. He says she doesn't even understand what marriage entails. He says they will have to trust Kanha. Shastriji is telling Radhika that he is worried that she has started to feel that these reet, rivaj has become a burden. Radhika asks whether the reet rivaj are difficult. He says it's not, it's very similar to marriage rituals. You have to bath, put alta on your feet, the wife has to dress like a dulhan, the husband wears clothes coming from the maayka, and yes the wife has to keep nirjal vraat. Shastriji says that if even one of these is not followed by the wife, this will affect her husband's health. Radhika is tensed.
Vishaka is tired and feeling faint. Dadi calls her and startles her. She says that she was looking for her. Some poor people are there and she has to give daan to them. Dadi says as a couple you will give them. Everyone is happy. Chacha and Arjun are standing a bit apart from all this. Mrinalini is standing behind a portrait. Arjun sees her and goes to her. He asks her what is wrong. Why is she not happy? She asks him why are you not happy? Arjun is staring at Dev and says I will be happy the day Dev will be unable to handle his Raj Purohit's duties and go back to America. Mrinalini laughs and says I will be happy the day Choti Bahu will snap and the whole family will know her true colours, and I will be ecstatic the day you become Raj Purohit. Arjun smiles at her flirtatiously.
Radhika is in her pooja room and is remembering Shastriji's words about what the wife is required to do in this reet rivaj for becoming Raj Purohit.
Dev is staring at his father's photo. He is saying from today I will be called Raj Purohit and I will handle all that you used to handle. He asks his babuji to bestow his blessings and that nothing goes wrong in the pooja.
Vishaka has taken a plate full of food and is about to eat. She suddenly remembers Dadi's words about nirjala vraat. She does an expression like 'Go to hell!' and eats. She is relishing her food while Radhika is realising that she won't let anything go wrong. She says as long as she is alive, she won't let anything wrong happen to her husband. She says I will fulfil my dharma. She says what if I cannot sit with him in the pooja. I can do this here and do the reet and Sankar. She says even if kismet has not givent me the right to be called his wife, I will abide by my duties of a wife. I will keep the nirjal vraat.

Devki tells Radhika come let's eat, I was waiting for you. Radhika tells her to go ahead and eat. She looks at Aama and lowers her eyes and says I am keeping nirjal vraat. Aama and Devki are staring at her.
