Rating: 1/5 Only because of the last scene between Radev - I think the deep connection depicted between the two was beautifully done.
Highlights:
Yesterday's storyline being stretched as a chewing-gum.
- Vishaka realises there is no point trusting anyone, she will have to stop Dev herself.
- Aama breaks her vraat to curse Radhika.
- Shastriji is bringing Radhika to Delhi.
Comments: Purohitji dialogue delivery is going to slowly kill me. I wonder at the brilliance of how they manage to stretch something trivial into a whole episode. (being sarcastic by the way!) I think both Radhika and Dev are in denial. Radhika that she actually has feelings for Dev and considers herself as his wife and that she has the right to demand her rights. Dev that he will be able to forget her. On another note, is not about time for Kanha to make an appearance?
Arjun is acting as if he doesn't want the business. He says I am not worth all these responsibilities bestowed upon me. Purohitji tells him that I know your worth and since you want to help me out, then you will have to handle the business. Arjun keeps saying he won't be able to handle it. Vivek answers it is true what Arjun is saying and anyways why the rush? Purohitji says he wants it to be done before Dev leaves. There are a lot of things to tackle and there are not enough days left. Dev congratulates Arjun and his cha-cha, saying I hope that when I'm gone Dad won't miss me too much. Mrinalini congratulates Arjun and adds that I'm glad that dad has started to understand who to trust and not.
Vaishali is asking Purohitji why is he not trying to stop Dev. You both have taken your decisions without thinking. You know if we tell him about your health he won't leave. Purohitji says Dev is the one thinking irrationally, I am not. Arjun wants to prove himself, what more should I need. Dev doesn't want to stay back and Vivek is unable to work. I have to pass the business to Arjun. I believe the trusts will be safe with them. On the other end, Arjun and his kaminey dad are rejoicing that they slowly reaching their dreams and goal. His dad says after so much time, I will get my rights. Vaishali is sad and frustrated that she is torn between what her husband says to do and her wanting to stop Dev.
The phone rings and it is Shastriji. He says I heard that Vishaka and Dev are leaving for Videsh. He asks whether it is necessary. Purohitji says how do I tell you. Shastriji says I don't want to intrude, but suddenly my daughter will be leaving me and go so far, I didn't think this would happen. Purohitji agrees and says even we didn't think this would happen. Vishaka is listening. He says his career, his life, his calling is for America. If we thought his well being would be fine here, we would have stopped him. Shastriji agrees that if it is so, then we should not stop him from leaving. Purohitji says to him parso, there will be an abhishek whereby the rights of the business will be bestowed to Arjun. He asks them to come as that way they could attend the abhishek and see off Vishaka to the airport. Vishaka is disgusted.
Shastriji after the phone call tells Devki, Aama and Radhika that Purohitji is right that Dev must go to America. Radhika is a bit sad. He continues and says as for Vishaka, she took the saath phere with him. Devki glance at Radhika and bows her head. Shastriji says she should abide by his husband wishes. He conveys that they have been invited to the abhishek and come see off Vishaka. Devki says but us' Shastriji retorts I know we should not go again and again to her sasuraal, but this is for a reet, it should be fine. He asks Radhika to bring his kurta. Radhika and Devki are glancing at each other.
Vishaka is tensed that Shastriji was unable to convince Purohitji to stop Dev. She is thinking she must tell everyone that she doesn't want to go, but then she retracts back that no I shouldn't otherwise they will suspect that there is something amiss between us. Vishaka is sad that things are so complicated and that her dreams won't be fulfilled. Then she grows strong and calculating and says I will have to do something. I will never give up on my dreams.
Radhika is lighting a diya. She is talking to her kanha saying in the end you sending him away from me. But why am I so sad? I wanted him to forget me and to accept Vishaka. She adds but why to separating him from me, are you separating him from his own family. She sees the red thread from the temple that the pandit said if a wife ties it to his husband, then their love will be stronger and their rishta atoot. Radhika is thinking that is necessary for Vishaka relationship with Dev. They are leaving everyone and going away.
Shastriji calls Radhika but he forgets what he wanted to say. Devki brings some water for him. Radhika says can I ask you to bring you the dhaga - red thread that I got from the pandit for Vishaka. Aama is shaking her head at that. Shastriji says I won't take it but rather you will take it to her. Everyone is shocked. Radhika starts to protest. Shastriji says you never met Dev and now he is leaving for Videsh, hence you will have to come with me. Aama breaks her fast and calls what are you doing lala? Shastriji says why did you break your fast? Only to stop Radhika from meeting Dev and Vishaka? She retorts that as long as this cursed one will be here, I won't be able to do any fast. Shastriji tells her to stop, that Radhika will go to Delhi. Shastriji leaves. Aama starts her bakwaas, see how this girl makes my own son go against me, then how long will see take to separate a husband and wife. (Duh Aama they are leaving for America - you should be rejoicing!) She continues ranting against Radhika - can't be bothered writing down her curses. Radhika is hurt and leaves. Devki is usual is silent and utter waste. Dev comes to his room and sees Vishaka sleeping. He goes to the sofa. He dreams of Radhika. She is dressed in a red saree. He says I thought I won't be able to see you again, Radhika retorts me too. He says perhaps there is something else awaiting us in our destiny. I just wanted to see you one more time before leaving for America. Radhika asks him why is he leaving? Dev says because of you, when you said you cannot be with you, I lost all hopes. Dev says even now I can not go. Radhika says really. She asks do I have that right? Dev says you will always have this right to stop me from going? Radhika says don't go? Dev asks really do you really don't want me to go? You love me, don't you? The Hum Dil De Chukke Sanam. They keep staring at each other. Dev is about to touch her face. When Radhika wakes up in real life. She touches her face where Dev had touched her. It seems she had the same dream too. Dev wakes up too. Choti Bahu theme song is playing. Radhika is crying. Dev is sad.
Precap: Vishaka is telling Dev that I refuse to abide by your decision. I won't go to America and tears the tickets. Dev is shocked.
