RM Love Scene - Show Shocker of Today!

I know there have been some similar topics today on what I want to talk and express about. But I really wanted to make this post, so I can get all the mixed emotions out of my system. 😆 I know exactly how you feel! which is why i made a topic on this and wrote an essay as well!!! LMAO!!

First of all...*Takes a DEEP breath* I'm absolutely SHOCKEDDD by RM's consummation scene. As soon as I read the written update, I felt my heart stopped beating and I completely forgot how to breathe. The words "RM" and "consummation" completely blew my mind off. The only thing that kept popping up in my head is that "THEY DID IT!" Sorry if I'm exaggerating, but this is honestly how I felt about it. I hope many people can understand my situatuation and feelings.

Yesterday when I had seen the promo, the idea of them consummating did come up in my mind...but I tried to push it away thinking "DMG can't be like that...can the show be mature enough to show an intense situation like that?" Besides that...people on IF were all saying how they highly doubt kiss will happen. Well kiss didn't happen, but the situation went beyond that. I think that DMG in the past have tackled mature subject matter...whether it was Riddhima's adoption or Sapna being in love with an older, widowed, single father who was her boss....why is this any different ?

Personally, this whole scene was completely UNEXPECTED although the promo was giving us some hints. I thought they would treat the scene like AR Jan 28th scene, where they're so into the moment...but then they snap back to their senses. Also I am guessing this is one of the BIG twists the creatives were hinting towards and said it will take the show to another level. LMAO ... oh man we've all watched waaay too many k-serials! cuz i thought for sure that was gonna happen to...where they suddenly "snapped back"

So many questions have been popping in my head after I saw today's episode, so I'm going to jot them down to get some discussion going from you guyz!

1) Is RM relationship going to fast?

My Answer: Yes definitely, they are way ahead of AR now. But not that they knew what they were getting themselves into, there was not any intention to consummate. I know we all wanted RM to have a 'hatke' love story...but did we ever imagine in our dreams that their relationship will take THIS turn? Although I'm happy that RM story is now being handled in a different way than AR, it was really a mature step for DMG to show this kind of a relationship! Why do RM have to be behind or ahead of AR ? they relationship is not dependant on how far AR have gone in theirs and i appreciate the CT from taking a different turn with these two.

2) Will RM relationship be the same after their consummation? Why?

My Answer: Definitely won't be the same! Things are definitely going to be more awkward and probably dramatic in future episodes between them. yup, definitely have to agree with you there!!

3) Is the consummation scene completely justified as to why it happened the way it did?

My Answer: I think the scene was justified to an extent. First of all, they were both in a very emotional and weak moment. Although personally, I would have preferred RM to not act so quickly on their strong emotions. But I guess things like this can happen and they just gave into each other and their desires, without thinking about consequences.The scene I think was shot really nicely and I think Mayank and Drashti did a fab job! It looked quite natural and nothing over-the-top. kinda have to disagree with you on this one...they both love each other, have known each other for sooo long, their families go waaay back, they have soo many similarities ( both punjabi, both doctors etc)...regardless of all of these "justifications" i still dont understand why sex between two ppl who clearly love each other have to result in "consequences" due to "weakness" ???

4) Will their consummation lead to drama and conflict?

My Answer: I really have a strong feeling this will all lead to drama and conflict, but at the end...I hope it strengthens their relationship. me too! i really really really hope so!

5) Will this change the characters of Rahul & Muskaan?

My Answer: I really don't want their characters to change! I love the bickering and cute RM side. But I guess the show wanted to show a different side to their characters. I think to an extent this whole turn will change their characters due to circumstances...but really hope they don't have a major or extreme change! i think it would be nice to see a journey btwn the two of them instead of seeing the same thing over and over again...meaning the same dynamics...atleast this is realistic...its showing how things can change btwn two ppl over a period of time. who knows, maybe now when they fight it will be over serious things...like over their lives and the decisions that have made regarding their relationship

6) Are you looking forward to this sudden change in their track?

My Answer: I really don't know what I expect in RM track now! I'm still in a state of shock! But in a way I am looking forward as what their track now has to offer us. Maybe their track is giving a message across and giving a reality check that things like this can happen. Just hope they don't drag too much drama into RM track like Ekta serials do! LOL im still in shock too...but a happy shock b/c i think im gonna start watching dmg on a regular basis again cuz of RM! esp mayank...daaaaaaamn he is soooo fine..

I definitely do agree to the fact that it was a MAJOR shocker in yesterday's episode. It kinda just went zip zap zoom....BUT i believe it was an emotionally intense scene too. There is a justifiction to it. I mean Muskaan was just hell shattered which is justified because Rahul did write that they didn't have a future together and she should forget him. Ever since Rahuls departure Muski just closed up and was learning to deal with Rahul not being around and suddenly he appears out of nowhere...so obviously her anger/frustration/depression all came out at once.

Unfortunately it will... Muskaan i dont think will be the YO DUDE BACK OFF kinda gurl and rahul wont be rahul

Yes, and No. I dont want too much drama. i just want to see Rahul convincing Muskaan that it will be alright and her to marry him.. and i don't want her to get pregnant for that!
