Your Performance analysis - 27/02

Hmmm ... LOL

Baichung didn't even deserve a 4 in my opinion.

It was a decent start to the show, but the dancing could have been better. The portions I enjoyed the most were:

1) Mona-Prachi's opening dance sequence.....FANTASTIC! Mona was looking AMAZING! Man, she's lost a lot of weight! And they both danced very well! They were totally enjoying themselves! 9.5/10

2) Hard Kaur's performance: The girl's a full on entertainer! I had expected her to do well based on the little glimpse I saw of her in the JDJ press conference and she totally rocked it! Loved the lifts in the end! And the best part was the way she looked like she was totally enjoying herself during the performance....9/10

3) Baichung Bhutia: Mainly cuz he's got a FANTASTIC choreographer like Sonia (who was brilliant with Mahesh in the first season).....he was very good for only 3 days of practice....great co-ordination! Can work on his expressions though. 7/10

4) Ram Kapoor: He surprised me😆.....I hadn't expected him to manage even this much dancing😆......but I think he's got a good choreographer and they have a good understanding b/w them.....they can surely improve from here.....


General thought: I think it would have been great if Mona-Prachi were the actual hosts of this show cuz I really enjoyed their beginning portions of hosting....they both have a warm vibe to them that's infectious.

And the drama Big Boss type of bits look forced....doesn't suit this show.....oh well.

Monica--- 8/10 she was good matched her choreographer really well, really great expressions too....her choreographer dances really well
Anand Raj Anand-- 5/10 have no clue why vaibhavi was praising his performance so much.....i felt he didn't do much at all
Baichung-- 6/10 he was kind of still and didn't really do the lip sync or expressions and was kind of nervous. would have given him 5 but he gets 1 more for pulling it off in only 3 days of practice. Surprisingly he got a 9 from saroj.....juhi was the only one who gave him the right marks 6
Gauhur-- 8/10 Both of them very really good and matched each other.....besides the attitude she is a good dancer
Hard Kaur-- 9/10 loved their performance .....they were very innovative in their moves.....very different from others and they matched each other completely
Ram kapoor-- 7/10 It was a very good effort, he tried to follow the moves well seemed a little nervous as well....but good overall

As far as the judges are concerned i felt juhi was the one who gave honest opinions (nicely!!) and right marks to everyone

Monica:

She did great! I don't know much about her, and so I had no idea what to expect

Score: 8/10

Mr Anand Raj Anand:

I think that the man did a great job of infusing life into the dance... I was pleasantly surprised.

Score: 7.5/10

Gauhar:

Very impressive!

Monica: 7.5/10, she was good but nothing great. I m sure she can do much better...she was great in that ande ka funda dance in jodi no. 1, the movie...she has the potential.

Anand raj Anand: 6.5/10, what was he doing...i mean it was strictly average. his performance was overrated. But i found it sweet that he is dedicating his journey on the show to his kids.

Gauhar Khan: 9/10- She has what it takes to be the winner. She is taking the competition seriously, that's what I like. No fooling around she wants to win, and I hope she does. She is beautiful, she is talented, and she can dance. Hanif and her make a hot couple. Hope to see them getting along well...they are getting along well, just a slight misunderstanding.

Baichung: 8/10 he was good, especially when he just had 3 days worth of practice whereas the others had 5 weeks. He may have been stiff, but his coordination and sincerity came out in his dance. He is a hardworker...i like him.

Hard Kaur: 10/10...she is brilliant, mindblowing...what a performer. She loves whats she does, she is amazing. Love her!!

Ram Kapoor: He was good...considering the limitations, he tried...

I agree with your rating. Mine will be similar to this except baichung. I would give him even lower score. Yes he didn't have practice. But the way he was , stiff expressionless I don't think not having any practice is an excuse for that. We saw promos of all contestants in initial days when they were asked to dance without any practice & all of them were much more flexible than Baichung

I didn't find Anand Raj Anand's performance worth the praises he got.

Ram has attitude, expressions. He unlike Monica Bedi, hard kaur hasn't performed anywhere live on stage. He never dances in award functions like Parul, KSG,Ronit Roy, Prachi has done before Jhalak. So I think given a chance he will improve.

i didn't get why they were so generous with marks for first episode. I think most except Hard Kaur & GAuhar should have got 5, 6, 7 like Ram did.

Monica: A fluid dancer. Given a good routine, she can shine. 8/10

Anand Raj Anand: I wasn't impressed by the choreography particularly, it seemed pretty simplistic. However, he looked like he was having fun and delivered expression which injected life into the performance. 7/10

Gauhar: Huge limbs on this one. 9/10

Mr Baichung B: Good coordination, perfect timing. He was a little stiff, and expressionless, which was made more seemingly jarring in comparision to his choreo. 6/10

Hard Kaur: Great choreography, especially the end. There's good co-ordination between her and Savio, and they compliment each other well in terms of energy. 9/10

Ram Kapoor: In some parts of the performance, it was apparent that the choreography will either make or break Ram. This performance was patchy, with the beggining loose, and nicely executed steps littered here and there. Still, he did better than I expected, and I'm looking forward to seeing improvement. 6/10

Other than Monica (who I really don't know much about), I don't think anyone has performed a dance sequence like that on stage before 😳
