JC - what lovely points... Agree with you on Atul's characterization... Kinda agree with you on RM but M was so childish at times it got frustrating...

About DMG - When people tell me it had a story etc in the beginning and it was serious and lot more doctor concious I think No - it was always this way. Its a light storyline... Regardless of how serious they make an eepisode they either make me laugh by the end of it or in the absolutely next epi... and that's why I feel they are constantly playing ping-pong with my mind 😆

Maybe I'm a different person not sure - but here are two examples

1. Armaan left for Kasauli first time after that totally rocking acting by him (which i did not expect) and they almost had tears in my eyes.. the next day we see an epi with Atul and his plants.. Lot of people got frustrated but me i laughed.. I laughed so much.. it was fun...

2. The Armaan getting hurt on his head episode...The whole ghost thing.. everyone said .. what what did they do.. why a ghost.. and i again laughed so much... the whole RM fighting and Armaan's ghost where he said hmm i can see who all are my friends etc.. just balanced all the sadness potrayed by Ridzz.....

for me DMG is a plain stress buster... I have been working 12 to 14 hours previously now down to 10 -12.. i just need to laugh at their antics.. or sigh at the cheesiness of their love...The tent scene is my favorite stress buster

There have always been things that i have never understood in DMG be it their selective amnesia at times.. But one of the biggest things that made me say Ok this is not right was the first confession and the late dec scenes before that.

Here is the girl who actually tells the guy that you are the kind of person who would take advantage of me when I'm trying to sleep.. remember when they were going to Lonavala...It was such a horrible thing to say.. Can you imagine telling that to any of your friends.. That means that there is no trust there... and Trust is the basis for all relationships....Then Armaan says if thats what you think I won't come near you.. and then within the next 2 episodes he is again trying to win her and within the next 3-4 epeisodes once she sees him hurt she regains that trust so easily and knows that she loves him? there is never a sorry said for saying such bad words and all is ok?? Bad message indeed

That was the only thing that made me want to throw whatever i had onto my LT because i watched epi's primarily on LT.. I agree it was melodramatic and had some great scenes.. but did it make sense.. NO...

I'm not a doctor.. I'm in software field so i won't even go into whether its right or not... But as far as i can see the hospital is just a backdrop...So it could have been any backdrop.. it could been a MNC with people working together...so i don't think we can say that oh they say its easy to be a doctor.. that has never been the point and if there is someone who based on a TV show makes that point then i think they are taking it way too seriously...When has anything in a TV show been absolutely correct.. this is a show aboput relationshsips so i don't care about the craziness that they doo . In fact i loved the Pari act with the kids... it was sweet not in the medical sense.. but more in a caring sense...

So what do i watch DMG for... I watch it because it makes me laugh.. laugh so much that after the long day I'm sleep with a smile on my face regardless of the issues raised by my customers...I watch it for the friendship shown between the various friends....I want it for the love scenes that are so cheesy that make me sign and imagine my husband in themmm....LOLL I wonder if you make him set up a tent in the backyard when you're mad at him. All is fair in love I guess 😆

I don't remember - but somewhere in this thread i read this statement - I'm looking for the knob to raise the intelligence....But my friend this is the idiot box remember.. so raising intelligence.. Yeah right you hope!!! LOLLL Even news at times makes me laugh and think this is as melodramatic as one of the TV shows... lolz the statement is my siggy. 😆
