I couldn't help but open this topic. One side of my my brain kept nagging me not to, but I couldn't just sit & watch members leave.
In the past few days, alot of members left DMG forum, and all of them have the same reason to give - They're sick of all the bashing & members lashing out at each other. Which is true. This forum has been divided in two groups, namely - KaShians & KaSuians, and this one difference has driven them miles apart. We have started to detest each other even at the personal level, we never agree on one thing only because we belong to a different group, even if what the other person is saying is right, we will try our level best to prove it wrong BECAUSE he/she does not belong to the same group.
Each & Every topic in our Forum has a warning attached to it : "If you're not a KaSh/KaSu fan, Please do not comment here", Why can't we stay calm without this warning? Are we uncivilised people? We all behave like insecure barbarians, I didn't want to use this word, but the state of this forum has compelled me to do so. DMG forum used to be a lively place where people "respected" each other and "acknowledged" each other's opinions. And Now, KaShians and KaSuians don't exist for each other. If not for this one virtual difference, we all would have been friends. Why is this difference virtual ? because it has been created by a Fiction story that will get over some day, and does not even exist in reality.
People get offended at the drop of a hat ? "Please don't bash AR, Please don't Sukriti, Please don't bash Shilpa...Blah Blah..." People use the word "Bash" to suit their own convinience ! Do we need to lay down the definition of Bashing so that it is easier for us to understand what should be considered as Bashing & what should not ?
Not commenting on KaSh/KaSu topics is not the solution. This will only increase the hatred & will divide us further. All of us should be allowed to comment wherever we want to, whether we agree or disagree, But it should be done in a civilized manner, and should not offend anyone. Similarly, some other person should not jump on him/her and say "Since you are not a KaSh/KaSu fan, you should not be commenting here ". This way we will all learn to respect each other's views.
Like I mentioned before, Denying the right to opinion does not help in staying calm, infact, it shows that we failed in accomodating someone else's viwes. It makes us cowards.
If a KaSu dance is being discussed, then any one should be able to go there freely and say "I liked it" or "I did not like it" and give a logical reason. No one has the right to kick anyone out of any particular topic.
I don't know whether this post will make a differnce or not, but we need to look beyond our differences and realize that we are bigger than Dill Mill Gayye. It's only a show, a figment of someon'es imagination, Don't you all think it is extremely childish of us to fight over someon'es imagination ?

Please don't close down this topic. I don't think I'm breaking any IF rule, Even if this topic has been opened many times in the past, I don't think there is any restriction on opening similar topics in different time periods. Currently, there is no similar existing topic, so I don't think there is any valid reason to close this topic down.
