96, 97, 98, 99,100… Nupur counted as she combed her long hair… she kept her comb down on the table… and wrapped herself in a quilt…

"Tomorrow is going to be a great today… hopefully I guess… working with Rahul is going to be fun… cant wait"

she wondered as she closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep…

She was early today… she walked in her usual jeans and a tee which she loved...

She heard a voice… calling her name… she turned back and saw Mr.Singh!

Mr.singh-Nupur… kya baat hain!! Aaj tu itni jaldi aa gayyi… wow!!! Must be my lucky day…

Nupur blushed… she knew she was early… and pinched Mr.Singh's cheek and replied… "I know… aaj maine socha thoda kaam kaar lu"

Nupur went on air… and started doing what was her daily routine…

"Hey guys… This is me Nupur on Red fm… call me to share your problems… and well I don't promise to help you… but I do promise to make your burden a little less…"

The screen beeped… which meant she had a caller…

Nupur-Hello anonymous… what's up?

Anonymous-nothing much! I have been a little disturbed this week…

Nupur-oh! Well may I have the pleasure to know what your problem is?


Anonymous-I don't really know… I feel terrible… That's it!

Nupur-ah… I think I know what the problem is! Tumhe pyaar hua hai!

The person on the other end screamed… "WHAT? ARE YOU NUTS?"

Nupur-gosh…chill yaar… you are probably not someone who is a great dreamer and bindas… which means you don't have love in your life… which also means ki tumhari life kafi boring hai… isn't it?

There was no answer from the other end… thinking she was right… she spoke again…

Nupur-I know everyone is not so good with this love thing… tum naye dost kyun nahi banate? That will drift your mind from all the problems you know…

Nupur took her headphones out and played one of her favorite songs… she laid her head back at the chair and listened…

Mayank kept the phone down and stared at the ceiling of his office… he had tons of work to do… but he didn't know why he felt alone… so he turned on the radio and heard Nupur's show! He was impressed and had an urge to call her… and finally he did…

"Well she isn't as dumb as I thought she would be…shayad who sahi keh rahi hai… I should make friends… wait am I going crazy? I have work to do! How can I think about friendship right now?"

Mayank resumed his work… but still Nupur's words echoed in his ears… he gave a second thought to it… and finally reached a decision…
