Back to present as he saw her kneading the dough, making the round balls and then putting it on the desk and applying equal force through belan getting the right circle shape as she spread the maida powder on it so that they wont stick she kept all the round puris(unfried) aside on a plate one beside the other ..He stood watching her hands pouring oil in the frying pan or tawa . her hands were shaking the mere thought of her with oil filled pan made him shiver . as he saw her switch on the gas , he could see her tensed body noting the time through the watch .

Jai had heard her talking about cooking and her experience, when tony was frying the puris. She said

"u know tony bhaiyya , I never do this frying task . my daddy never allowed me stand in kitchen infront of the oil pan on the highflame"

When pia aksed "why ?"

She had replied "pia tuje pata hain ,thail(oil) main aag lagthi hain . ghar main ek baar muje bhook laga tho socha kuch banna loon aur maine thail tawa main daal diya aur garam kiya muje time ka pata nahin tha kitna waqt hum usko garam kar saktehain aur tab achanak oil main se aag nikkla tha muje itna darr laga .. papa jo aaye uss waqt dekha , stove , gas cylinder dono bandh karke aur sink{wash basin} main thail ka tawa (oil) daal diya aur tap on kiya .bahut der baat aag bhooj gaya tha . "

Uss din ke baat muje stove aur oil se door rehne ke orders hain papa se ' waise agar kuch ulta seedha hua hota tho aaj nahin main yahan rehthe nahin mere building ke log ' she laughed at the adversary that was averted at right time by her father ..

Seeing her shivering hands ,he came standing behind her taking hold of her right hand lifting the round unfried puri dough ,gently led into the pan as the oil bubbled lightly and some little droplets fell on nearby jai lifted her hand away from the stove in reflex then guiding it to the slotted stainless spatula with the plastic holder . as her hands curled around the plastic holder ,jai 's big hands covered her's and he brought it to the pan turning the stove to low flame with his left hand ,he tuned the puri to other side to see the white color now turning golden brown and as the puri bloomed full size like they show in the televideos , bani was tensed and she was now a mere puppet in jai's hands as jai guided her hand taking the puri out of the pan with spatula and putting it in the basket and then next one after next one.as the puris were now fried. confidence built in bani's moving hands and she herself started taking them out without his assistance . jai saw her smile after a long time .the smile that was her's and only hers .that dimple in her left cheek prominent and her eyes twinkling with joy that she had learnt something new and something that she always feared getting in touch with .as he watched her he couldn't stop smiling himself

"it was so easy mr.walia .i was so scared .its so easy. thank u so much" she said turning to look at him momentarily forgetting the tensed situation between them . jai came out of his trance

"I couldn't risk life's of mine and massi's ' bani so I had too "

The joyfull expression of hers turned full of hurt as he watched her.He wanted to kick himself for hurting her but then'

As they sat down for dinner on the huge dinning table silently. Not one day this table was quiet when anu was there . bani and anu would always chat on things all around the world .even if he hated noise while dining he couldn't control them because bani would never listen to his word and anu would chat with her taking bani 's name .

As the dinner came to end, bani was the most tensed person because at night and her sleeping arrangement . Her mind was working hard to find a way out as early as possible. jai was enjoying seeing bani in tension. He could guess what she was thinking.

As massi was to retire to bed she called out

"bani bahu , mere pair(legs) bahut dard kar rahe hain aaj tum mere malish karo"

Bani had to smile as massi had rescued jai seeing her smile came to her side

"u see bani there are still 89 nights left and who told on this mother earth that love making is done only at night .and massi cannot save u all the time .hawa main udne ke khoshish mat karo"

The smile turned into frown soon and then jai seeing it smiled wickedly and left to his room to have a drink.He really needed it. The urge to kiss her nape was so much when she stood just infront of him with her hair tendrils coming out of that clip and spreading around her back . he sp had the urge to take remove the clip and make the hair uniform, touch her back, feel her back, kiss her ' but he had to control himself .For some odd reason this girl provoked all different feelings at a time .

Morning came and bani woke up at 6 well all night she was afraid of jai and didn't want the morning to come. So many things were going in her mind. She wanted to continue her studies and now she was in 3^rd year second semester a month more she will be giving her final sem exams and then she wanted to study ,work hard..

It was 8am and jai was waiting for break fast to be served as now bani had taken the duty of cooking food for him. jigyasa entered to see bani serving him idli and chutney .

"accha hua jai bhaiya ,tumne iss dho take ki ladke ko apne jagah dekhaye" what she meant was she was his servant . and as jigs and ranveer also sat down to have breakfast. Bani served them as he completed his breakfast . jai looked at bani all the while to see if she was affected by her sneer coments but he failed '

As he completed the breakfast and came to living room ,all sat down for a moment before going to there jobs , he spoke to massi

"massi tijjori ke chabbi dijiye muje files chahiye "

As jai took the keys, since he already had put his shoes he cant go to the room and take the documents from tijjori (locker) as it is considered goddess lakshmi. jigyasa was now beaming that she might get a hand on the keys that she always wanted and dreamt to have a control over '

Jai came near jigyasa and as he passed her and went behind, handing the keys to bani and instructing the file that he wanted her to bring. Bani was stunned but just did as he ordered. As she brought those docs and the keys and handed it to him . he said

"chabiyaan aaj se tum sambhalo " bani was more shocked than ever she looked at massi and then at him then the jealous green face of jigyasa

"lekin main kaise .."

"tum hi tho mrs.jai walia ho"

Bani looked at him as he came near and whispered in her ears . "chor ke hath chabbi dene ka matlab janthe hoon .agar kabhi kuch ulta hogaya tho uska answer usse hi dena padega " tears sting her eyes but she didn't allow them to fall .

Yes there was a time she was given the keys to open the locker that day jigyasa was also there and money was needed for some work and massi was not in a state to move from bed due to acute pain in her legs, she handed the keys to bani as she didn't believe jigyasa and some how she felt that jigs was a gold digger and wouldn't even leave her bro when time or chance comes'

Jai felt bad for her and himself he didn't want to hurt her and see her being insulted by any one but what could he do. There was a time he really wanted her to be mrs. Jai wlaia even after knowing that she might have had an abortion .

She always confused him and drove him crazy with her attitude. She was least scared of him unlike others. as he saw the scooty pep parked aside his car , he still remembered when she gave him lift

It brought smile on his lips as he remembered how it was....

Jai walia's was going to attend an important meeting and he had no time and his car gave trouble at that time only , he tried to find the trouble by opening the bonnet and when a scootypep stopped infront as he saw her in maroon color chudidar with yellow printed flowers .

"Any problem mr.walia . Want help"
