Hey guys! I know, I haven't continued "Khamoshi" yet, and I'm already starting another FF. To tell you the truth I'm not sure if I should continue or not. If there's any readers that really want me to continue, then I'll try wrapping up the story, otherwise I've totally forgotten about the feeling I started off with in it. I guess its because I took so long in updating.
Well anyway, this is my new FF, its a murder mystery. Its not a love story, its something different. And another shockin thing, its not all about Prem and Heer! Preets the main dude here. There will be a Prem Heer love story in the corner, but otherwise its all Preet here. I've been wanting to write about just Preet for a long time.
So, if you guys like the concept so far, tell me if you want me to continue. ๐ณ

Murder Mystery: "No Freedom"
Murder Scene
Veera surveyed herself in the mirror while adjusting her hair once again. No matter what she did, she didn't feel contempt with the image in front of her. Ignoring the flaws she saw in herself, she reached for the pearl necklace and placed it on her neck. They matched perfectly with the pearl earrings she was wearing. She loved how the pearls shone out the lightest shade of purple in there pure whiteness, complimenting the dress she was wearing: silk, and a beautiful shade of purple. It seemed to fit her perfectly, but she still felt like something was missing.
She was going for something that looked classy, to fit the occasion. Rishab was hosting the inauguration of his hotel, and she wanted to look her best. She knew her father, Lalit Juneja, would be here too and she wanted to show him how happy she was with Rishab. More so show him how much happier she was without her father. She had lived her life by Lalit's rules, and when she broke his rules, she was kicked out of his house. From there she moved in with Rishab, where he gave her more love than her family had ever given her.
She slipped her feet into the white leather heels, raising herself two inches. Still not satisfied, she picked up the pearl bracelet and fastened it around her right wrist. She didn't want to wear too much jewelry, but her lifeless image contemplated her to do otherwise. She frowned, as nothing seemed to work. Adjusting her dress, she pondered over what could be missing.
Hearing a knock at the door, she decided to leave it, as she was already late. "Almost done!" Veera yelled out the closed door. Taking the perfume in her hands, she stared at the bottle for a few seconds. It was her favorite perfume, but she could remember throwing away her bottle since she had run out. Maybe Rishab had bought her a new bottle, smiling she sprayed it over herself. Breathing in the pleasing aroma of the fumes, she put the bottle back on the dresser. She found Rishab standing behind her as she looked into the mirror once again.
"You look beautiful," he complimented, placing his chin on her shoulder and inhaling her scent.
"Thank you," Veera said, while blushing. She turned around, with the shy smile on her lips. She took his tie into her hands, and started to play with it. "You look very nice too." Finished with her words, she looked up into his eyes. He was looking down at her, thinking of something. Veera suddenly felt a pang of air loss, but she ignored it.
"You forgot the belt," Rishab finally said, as he remembered the dress had come with a belt. No wonder it was looking so plain.
"Oh yea!" Veera said, as she too remembered. She let go of his tie as he turned to get the belt from the closet. A gush of heat touched her face as he moved away from her, she felt as though she was choking. She started breathing harder. Her hands reached for her neck, it was becoming hard for the oxygen to pass through her lungs. She aggressively pulled the necklace off, wanting to be able breath again. Her throat throbbed with pain as she managed to let out a weak "Rishab...!"
Rishab came out of the walk in closet to see Veera ready to fall down. He ran to her side holding her waist. "Veera, what happened!?" he asked watching her flap around in her arms. She looked like a fish out of the water.
"I can't breathe Rishab!" she cried out, holding on to her throat.
Rishab panicked as he held her in his arms, trying to calm her down. He laid her on the ground and ran for the phone, feeling a slight construction in his own lungs. Dialing the number for the ambulance he spoke into the phone in a rush "Hello, my girlfriend, she suddenly started to choke. I need an ambulance, quickly!" He felt himself start to choke too. He dropped the phone and held his throat.
"Hello... sir, please tell me your location," the operator said in calm tone. "Sir... sir... are you there?" Not receiving an answer she decided to look up where he was on her own.
Rishab dropped to his knees, as the world started to become a blur around him. He crawled back to Veera. She wasn't moving around anymore, and blood dripped from the corner of her mouth. Tears welled up in his eyes, she was dead, and now he was about to die. He hugged her dead body, and lay there waiting for his death. If he was going to die, then he was going to die in her arms. They weren't able to live a happy life on earth, maybe somewhere else.

Rinki! I could not have started this without her, she's a total Preet maniac, and she helped me figuring out all the characters. So I'm having her in the story too. The people who've read "My Boss and Me" and have heard of Prat and Vixen, will know what I'm talking about with Rinki being in a fic. I'm heads over heel with that jodi. I'm sure I'm not the only one...
