Round: 1 - Classical & Semi-Classical Songs

Contestant 1: Soumen (Jai Ho Gharana)

Songs: Raag - Ahir Bhairav, Poochon Na Kaise & Albela Sajaan

Judges Comments:

Jagjit Singh: you have a problem with you low notes and you better ryaaz on Kharach.

First I would like to shoot all the judges to gave him history. His performances were just ok but not near to that level. To me: Super Hit

Contestant 2: Yashita (Dhoom Gharana)

Songs: Raag Bhimpalasi, Naino Mein Badra Chaye & Tum Mile Dil Khile

Judges Comments:

Hari Ji: You were going off surs at many places.

Jagjit Ji: Your voice quality is very good but theres a prob in your sur.

Himesh: Super Hit

Despite not her genre she did pretty well. A brave attemped by her. To Me: Super Hit

Contestant 3: Vaishali (Rock Gharana)

Songs: Raag - Yaman Kalyan, Jiya Le & Mere Hum Safar

Hari Ji: You sang with confidence and very well.

It was a fantastic performance by her. But the thing disturbing me a lot, Himesh indirectly (Almost directly) requested the Jaanta to vote for her. He is simply an

Hari Ji: You sang from heart and with feel. Better than the original one.

Jagjit Ji: Itwas better than the first performance

Topper Of The Week: Vaishali

Elimination: No one eliminated. Another Drama Baazi by Himesh that everyone deserves to be in the finale so one will be eliminated. He saved Vaishali for sure.

I dont agree with the underlined parts above as there is a discrepancy in the two - dont you think? If Vaishali was the topper of the week, how could she have been eliminated?! 😕

😆..ohh that i have been doing since Shankar's exit .....but definitely do more after watching tonight's episode ....actually I am having some vitamin water now to gain strength😃

No problems, Antar. I read about HR's drama early this week and so thought the same - that he might have done that to save his gharana... Then looking at the results, I got confused... Now I am thinking, what and why?? Wouldnt it have been better for Vaishali with only one competitor?? Or was it all part of Zee's script with HR to play along since he is the most paid mentor on the show?? Why do the public keep proving to Zee that we are dumb enough to buy all that?! 😆 😆
