guys.... before you all start thinking i am bashing anyone i just wanted to say a few things regarding Rahul's exit from the show...
for starters, it hasnt been confirmed, but the last two times, when mumbai mirror gave out some news it was later confirmed by other sources, so all one can do is just pin your hopes and think its not true.... however, soemtimes its better to let go after a while as it doesnt give you anything else but hurt...
i am not siding the creatives, i have chosen times to criticise them as well, but here, if you read the entire article, the only news from the actor or the production house has is about tryng to work out issues... the 17000 rs meal, and all the other stuff that has been mentioned has been from other sources, now, we all know that when an article is published, there are various insiders who work and give the gossip to reporters... so spare both the actors and the creatives...
for god's sake ya, even i love DMG, even i would have wanted the original cast to stay intact, but then these things happen on TV shows... and its not a joke to work every single day or your life in the same job, that too in the gruelling conditions like we have in the movie and tv industry...
what i find a little problematic is that, every time something goes wrong with the star cast, we audience readily blame the creatives... those very creatives who give a shape, name, and character to the artists who go to become "stars"..... its only when a creative thinks a person can fit a certain bill does he bring in a character to play that role, so they know before you and i do, that a person fits the role... why would they then, want to throw out the person just because he has ordered a lavish lunch..... if something as drastic as an exit has happened, or has been rumored to have happened, there certainly must be something that we cant see.... why get into the entire behind the scenes drama....
even i like Rahul, infact i love his bonding with Armaan...and i love the subtle, implied understanding he shares with Armaan.... even i was as shaken....
but wad i got annoyed about was the fact that, sometimes we end up blaming the creatives... whether it is an actor leaving the show, or something goes wrong... i feel bad, because, the creatives are the people who are least appreciated on the show...
the writer of the show was changed for over 3 months from october to last week, did anyone notice? the creative supervisors have been changed once in a while, the dialogue writers keep making their entries and exit .... why doesnt anyone make a huge hue and cry about this replacement? when the quality of DMG falls we have one ready excuse "the creatives need to pull up their socks"........... but does anyone ever go beynd that... think beyond that... we seldom do? and it certainly can afford to be so, for the simple reason.... what ever happens on the set, what ever happens behind the scenes, even if it means two people may be harsh enemies to the extent that they may not wanna meet eye to eye outside, as soon as the camera starts rolling we want our shot, and we dont care other wise....!!
but guys, at times try and be considerate... try to think a little objectively... dont jump to conclusions just like that...
at the end of the day, dont forget the fact that we are still watching a show and the more we think about it on such a personal level these kinda disappoinments will keep coming our way, breaking our hearts... do think about it guys..
