Why do I ❤️ SaJan:
First, I identify with Gunjan's character most from the show. If i have to say which character I am like the most from MJHT, it will be Gunjan. Def not 100% like her but more like her than other characters. So this is one reason why I am so attached to SaJan's jodi onscreen. Second, the shy, studious girl-popular dude story a la "She's all that" really appeals to me. I don't know why but it does! 😆 Third, I think what Mohit adds to Samrat's character makes the character stand out. Ok many shows have the cool dude/popular guy type of heroes. But Samrat is more a sweeter, cuter, younger version of that. He's not super tall with big muscles but he is charming, endearing. he plays bball too!! So thats why I adore him. he tries to be a hotshot but really, he is just a nice guy. He is like rajiv from Ishq Vishq, Ok, where I am now? Umm fourth, i think both Gunjan and Samrat have a lot of potential to
grow as characters😆 . look at where they were in Sept and look at them now 3 months later. Gunjan was extremely quiet, shy, yet smart gal who hd little confidence to speak to other people. But now she is a confident, assertive young woman. but she still has the same gunjan charm -- like she still hesitates when samrat touches her, still gets nervous when he talks about date and obsessed about focusing on studies!! but she doesn't hesitate to speak up when she is upset with him. She smiles around him and others now. she has opened up and is no longer soo reserved! I really like how they showed the character transition. Like gunjan didn't start talking all friendly with samrat after a few days. in real life, it takes time and they showed it in the serial!! Next is Samrat. He's always been overconfident, cool dude who thinks he knows everything about life. He feels he has full control over his life and what happens. He thinks he can handle whatever life throws at him, easily and w/style. But now, things aren't going his way. Samrat wants to maintain his image but also his new, precious friendship w/Gunjan. So he is going through some growing pains now but handling them well for now lol! like he is torn between two gals and he is not ready to tell Dia to take a hike just yet! Samrat is showing he can do well in exams and has brains to do it.
complications are introduced in SaJan story but gradually.
we can watch sam and gunjan slowly change (but def not completely) and grow as the serial progresses. Ok, where I am now..Umm, fifth, most of their scenes are portrayed as realistically as possible. The bike ride from this week was like wow! it wasn't anything fancy but still perfect. the setting (autos, people walking by, buildings) was realistic, samrat wearing a helmet, the conversation was funny and they looked like a REAL couple on a bike! I love it so much! I adore the subtleness in some of their scenes like the rangoli scene when sam puts color on gunjan's nose and how they look at each other sigh. thats one of my fav scenes. and of course the first bike scene! adorable!
And Monaya:
well, I like them cos they are complete opposites but in diff way from SaJan. What I've seen from videos and interviews is they are real cool and friendly with each other. I like th nok-jhok and masti like Sanaya teasing mohit about his hair and all. Thats why I like them and wish them best for their careers!!
