Asha Sachdev and Ranjeet have known each other for many years. When they met on the sets of SAB's Jugni Chali Jalandhar they were stunned to see each other. Ranjeet exclaims, "Arre main to bahut khush ho gaya tha because I have known Asha for many years. We have worked together in many films." Ranjeet and Asha had acted in movies like Anjane Mein and Bhookh.Asha, too, has fond memories of those days. "For me coming on the sets of Jugni… is like visiting my friends house. Not only Ranjeet, I know Baba very well too," says Asha.Few people knew that Ranjeet is fondly known as Gooli among friends. Asha is among the people who knew the secret and occasionally she used to call him Gooli on the sets. The team got to know about this and they decided to integrate this bit in the show. So, much to Ranjeet's embarrassment his character has been given the same pet name in the serial that airs every Monday to Thursday at 9.30 pm.
