Since IF is part of my virtual world, I'll wish for peace and safety for all in vl. We have our parents watching out for us in rl but not many will watch over us in vl. Some people will try to take advantage of this lapse in your security.
I wish the members stay safe and sound and keep an open mind.
I wish members realize that if someone they just got to know is writing stuff on pms that they can't on open forum then there's something fishy going on. Question that person's motives. Question, question, question till you get all your answers. Chances are you may not get all the answers BUT that person will know you are questioning...that you are trying to connect the dots and identify the writing style. Our posts leave footprints on the forum. Go dig out an old thread and compare the writing styles. Even the smartest ones drop their guard on pms. You can clearly see expressions and vocab that they were using as this other person from the past. Question them - let them know you can't be taken for a ride. This will force them to back off........they may pretend they are moving on but the fact remains they are backing off.
I wish people won't give out their personal information to strangers o net. If you don't know them well and if their words are too sweet and too addictive, their resume too good to be true - QUESTION - don't let them know how old are you oe where you go to school. Be skeptical.
I wish we all stay here and enjoy each other's company and watch out for each other. I wish we let the mods know if we feel something fishy going on. Fortunately, we have a mod watching over us now.
