I missed your post... but its absolutely on the spot. Except, we don't really include fair-weather friends under the umbrella of "friends". He really doesn't have any friends...

yeah, if zulfi wanted to be a real friend, he could've advised him personally and helped him directly without dragging him to court/police chakkar and talking to the media. sakti se pesh aane se koi faayda nahin, is raja ke bheje mein kuch ghus nahin raha hai. he's on a self destructive path anyway. no one in their right mind behaves this way, he has obviously gone bonkers. i know the non raja fans will say all that about 'kutte ke dum hamesha tedi rahegi' et al. but if he was able to see that even his fans are getting put off, i'm sure he would mend his ways. but obviously he is in a hole and he can't get out of it himself to see straight and analyse the repercussions of his actions.
zulfi is also close to debo and ehsaan, both of whom hate raja. so maybe they are all telling zulfi to keep away from raja too. and probably this is the reason raja burns his fingers and is unable to make/retain good friends who value his health and safety.
at the rate things are going, he is ruining his physical and mental health. hope it is not too late for him just yet.

See... I don't think that Zulfi is Raja's friend. And, I don't think that Zulfi will be acting out Debo and Ehsaan's hatred...

In India, we use the word "friend" very loosely. A friendship is cultivated over a lifetime... None of raja's housemates from BB actually qualify as friends.

The crux of my conclusions about Raja is that he has had a very unstable relationship with everyone with whom he has acquainted himself with... and he has failed to find true friends.
He is alone in his misery... because if he had even a single friend, the friend would've tried to help him, and Raja would've trusted this friend enough to change the course of his life. As the situation stands today, either nobody turned up to counsel him, or Raja didn't trust anyone...
