Shujat Ali Khan - Dark Horse

Hi: Why do you think Shujat Ali was not awarded the key last evening. Although I must admit Sayon has a very marketable voice for playback singing. _popupControl();

He was really good yesterday. Summerji, could you provide us with Amanat's performance of that song? Just to compare/contrast? If its not too much trouble.

It was really sad to see that Shujat did not get the key yesterday, despite singing extremely well. Asha ji's excuse was that she wanted to hear him (and the others) perform again ... but shouldn't one be rewarded for doing well? Where is the justice in that?

The mentors/mahaguru need to decide whether they want playback singers or true singers with a solid knowledge of music. Everytime someone sings a good classical based song, he/she is given standing ovations, superb comments, and is highly appreciated. But when time comes to promote the singers, the one with a good voice for playback singing is cast the winner. Where is the justice in that?

I think that they should not bring contestants to the competition that are purely classical if they are looking for playback singers. I hope that Shujat isn't caught up in the same dilemma as Mussarat of last season.

Do you think Shujat will be able to sing contemporary songs? I have my fingers crossed!

nahin yaar..there is a catch here.😉.Ashaji wanted to hear the others again becoz they were gud,hai na?(she said so herself)........so now i hv understood the real meaning of golden keys😃.......golden keys are given to that singer who is so intolerable that he cannot be heard a second time......so if a person sings real bad ,he will be given golden keys...coz the mahaguru is unable to endure such torture at this age.........so g.keys are a way of sending the worst singer in first.......

after all,SRGMP is all abt retainging a good mix of gud and bad singers right?....agar gud singers hi aage aate rahe,to aage ladai kaisi hogi.....?..now they hv enuf material for drama for the next round....😛😃
