If you are talking about just the promo -

1) I thought the mini skirt scene was weird too. What parents will let their daughter's windows be wide open for any tom, dick or harry to jump in? Although they stepped back, they did get physical. RIdz in mini-skirt looked quite provocative. That to me was the first loss of reverence.

2) DMG has been losing it ever since A-R first admitted their love, way back in Jan. The creatives are going overboard trying to keep the strain in A-R relationship without a cause. I want them to deal with real issues for once, not forced issues due to indecisiveness on Ridz's part.

In short, there are many things that would make this serial more real. But that is not the point.

The treatment, sensitivity and subtlety depends entirely on viewers opinions. What you might find garish, others might find it tasteful. What you might find cheap, others might find it romantic. What you might find "Chandni Bar", other might find "Moulin Rouge". That's just the way we are ... Its entirely a matter of perspectives.

@LadyMacbeth - absolutely! It is a matter of individual likes and dislikes. What was stated in this post was an individual's opinion which some agreed with and some disagreed with. Which is the way all things are, some like it and some don't and both have a right to state their views.
