We spoke to ex-wife Amrita, who said, "The children spend their weekends with their father. I think it's fantastic that he's divorced, yet spends as much time with them as he can. They are his children too, so why shouldn't he spend time with them?
Saif is like any other father — what's the big deal? It's boring for Saif and me to have the spotlight on us even now, after we have divorced each other and moved on with our lives."
Amrita, wants her kids to spend quality time with their father — and if that includes Rosa, so be it. "Irrespective of who's going to be in Saif or my life, our kids will always remain in ours. They are spending time with their dad, which is a normal thing to do." | | | Giving Ebrahim pointers on swimming, Saif? | Divorced a year ago
Talking about their cool pool time, Amrita said, "There is nothing shocking about this. It would have been shocking if I had been in the pool with Saif, instead of Ebrahim! Saif and I have been divorced for nearly a year — but the children haven't been divorced from him." Smoking moment
While Amrita seems to have made her peace with Rosa's presence in Saif's life, she is bothered by a photograph with her ex-husband, where the two are lighting up at their kids' school.
"Saif and I are not brand ambassadors for smoking; it gives the wrong impression of us as parents. We had come to the children's school function; we were there throughout, as normal parents. After the function ended, we walked to the parking lot to have a smoke.... It was a personal moment." |
