The winds were blowing the drapes around her and the moonlight filtered through the windows providing the only light…. she stood there remembering everything
"Middle-class town girl...she can never satisfy you...come jai lets relive those moments…I love you jai….no-one can ever forget there first love…"
"STOP IT JUST STOP!!!!" she screamed in the hope of getting rid of those voices but nothing…the voices continued to echo in her ears...and then as if she couldn't control it the first tear fell from her eyes and rolled down her cheek and the next one followed until she couldn't stop them.
"how could I think that he could ever fall for a middle-class girl like me…a girl who has not style…elegance or beauty…I'm no roshni and pia...Why did I ever think that I was...why did I fall in love with him...he can never be mine…hes like the moon and the starts I wish they were mine but no matter how much I wish they can never be mine…because wishes never come true just like dreams…just like the dreams I had when I came to Mumbai...what I thought and what has happened…each time its me who has to sacrifice...who has to bear all the taunts...who has to suffer for other peoples mistakes...who has to cry to make other people smile…and to see her dreams and heart break in front of her eyes all the time...but not anymore…I cant do it…I cant let my heart break this time…I have to walk away before its too late…"
With that thought in mind she got and with a determined look...wiping her tears she started to pack her bags…when suddenly he could sense him in the room…
He stepped into the room clutching his head feeling slightly woozy form the drinks that roshni forced him to have…just remembering that b**** made his blood boil…did she really think that he was so drunk that she could seduce him…did she really think he was so drunk that he wouldn't be able to tell the difference between her and his wife…his wife…when did he start thinking of Bani as his wife? Bani…the name itself bought a smile to his face…Bani his wife who he used to taunt and scream at in the beginning of their marriage and she used to stand there taking it all in; and then the same Bani in the night, when he was drunk used to come and quietly remove his socks and cover him with the comforter; the only person who used to wait till he arrived no matter what the time and made sure Tony had the food out for him ready to eat and stand behind the pillar watching him eat; Bani the only person who knew that he was ill or had a headache without him ever saying anything… and when he was asleep used to quietly massage his head or apply balm; Bani the only one who cared for him and thought of him and not about his money; he cant pinpoint the exact moment when she went from being an unnecessary burden to his need and want in life…if she left him he would shatter he wouldn't know what to do...in short Bani had become his life…if this was love then so be it...because what he had felt for pia and roshni didn't even come close to this…pia and roshni no doubt were beautiful but their beauty was skin deep…his Bani was beautiful inside and outside…her oval shape and button nose that she would often scrunch up when she was confused….her rosy red lips that would form a pout when things didn't go her way...her long black silky hair…and those expressive almond eyes…those eyes that told him everything without her saying a word…he loved her…jai walia…loved his wife Bani walia there were no two ways about it…and with this thought a smile lit up his face…
Jai looked up and saw Bani furiously packing something away he ahd seen her back stiffen and he knew that she knew he was in the room…he was confused was he going anywhere…as far as he knew he wasn't going anywhere..was she going anywhere? But where would she go without telling him..he had to find out.
"Bani?"
he got no answer all he got was silence and she continued to pack
"Bani…where are you going?"
again he got no answer
"Bani I'm asking you something god dammit will you give me an answer?!" at this point he was getting really worried and he went towards her held her by the elbow and turned her around and that's when he saw something he never wanted to see ever again….his Bani was crying
"Bani whats wrong tell me..did anyone say anything to you? Was it jigyasa or ranveer?"
again he didn't get an answer..all he heard was her sobs echoing in the room..now he was at his wits ends and he held both of her arms and said, "Bani tell me what the problem is..i will solve it..just stop crying I can see your tear Bani I l-"
Bani pushed his hands away and ran towards the window she couldn't take it anymore...all this fake concern…he was just worried about his maasi no-one else...she needed to leave asap before she changed her decision...because she knew that is she looked into those muddy brown eyes once she was going to get lost..
Jai was confused and worried he had never seen her in a state like this…if only she would just tell him what the problem is…he would put it right…he would do anything to see her smile again…to see those cute dimples appear on her cheek
As Bani walked past him he did the first thing that came into his mind he grabbed her hand he couldn't take it anymore.
"Mr Walia Leave my hand and let me go!Just go back to her shes waiting for you isn't she!" Bani screamed
In response to this jai simply pulled her back and made her face him and then he did something he never thought he would have done..he bent down and kissed her cheeks slowly where the tears were at that moment she slowly mumbled, "go back to roshniji shes waiting for you.."
At this point jai knew what happened his wife had been bitten by the green-eyed monster...she though him and roshni in the room had..eughhhhhh…he had done that mistake once in his life and he didn't want to repeat that again! He knew at this moment he had to show his wife he loved her and this is exactly what he did.
He slowly kissed each of her eyes and said, "this is for understanding me and knowing what I needed in life without me ever speaking a word…"
He kissed her forehead and said, "this is for loving me and caring for me… even when I was a rude insensitive pig"
He then turned her around and moved her hair to one side and kissed her right shoulder and said, "this is for being the only person that needs and wants me and not my money…"
He then moved the hair to the other side and kissed her left shoulder and said, "this is for giving me the courage to dream again and make me realise that some dreams do come true…"
Then he swiftly turned her around and gently kissed her on the lips and said, "this is for capturing my soul and making me believe that love really does exist in this world…"
After this Bani was lost…he loved her…he loved her..she couldn't believe she threw her arms out and said, "I love you too….jai…"
Jai was shocked and pushed her back "what did u say?!"
Bani looked down and slowly repeated "I love you too….jai…"
And with that jai couldn't control his emotions..he gently cupped her face and kissed her senseless….he kissed her with all the suppressed passion and love in his heart…until they both had to break away for oxygen..and then as if he couldn't get enough he pulled her towards himself again and kissed her again and again…she was like a drug he could never get enough of…he then pulled her head back exposing her long neck to his eyes…his lips then started to place kissed all over her neck and where her pulse was beating erratically he gently bit down and as if to soothe the pain he gently licked the same place..he then turned her around and pushed her hair to the side exposing her back to him…he gently undid the dori and kissed all the uncovered skin exposed to him..he then gently pushed her pallu off her shoulder and turned her around…he kneeled on the floor and saw her creamy waist and then he started to place kisses all over… Bani lifted her hands and started to run them through his hair and moaned out his name "jai…"
Jai couldn't control himself now and he lifted her up in his arms and carried her towards the bed..and kissed her again and again whilst removing his shirt…Bani suddenly looked up and saw her husbands semi naked state..she saw his tanned toned body and shamelessly stared at it until she heard a cough and him say, "like what you see?!"
Bani then bit her lip and hid her face in his shoulder and she could feel his body shaking with laughter..jai then removed her face and kissed her again and again all over her body all the time whispering "you are so beautiful…you are an angel sent from above just for me….i love you…"
And as the night went on he claimed her again and again…june 19th when jai and Bani walia became one..june 19th a date never to be forgotten…
