Angry, disappointed, and crabby

That's what I am feeling right now - angry, disappointed, and crabby.

I think Amar just died for me. (Don't worry, I've said the same thing about Sagar and he miraculously survived😛)

Seriously, does the man have no identity of his own? He does have a brain. He also has something called free will. Put those two together, and you can actually make your own decisions, Amar.

More than Amar, I'm disappointed with the creatives. I feel cheated. They're pushing second hand things on us - an overused vamp Sindoora, the same old formula of making someone pagal, hesitant supporters like Rajeev and Mahua (akin to Aniket) who move at a snail's pace at making any important decisions.
WHAT is new? Amar and Divya are new names with the same characteristic flaws. I feel horrible saying this because this show survives only because of them. Yet, there's nothing new to hold us here. Amar still doesn't stand against Sindoora. Fact is, he doesn't know he's supposed to fight Sindoora. He doesn't stand for Divya.

Now, Divya is less of a disappointment than Amar is but she still has a way to go. What happened to her strength? Why is she taking this lying down? If Sindoora entering a room is enough to keep Divya from speaking to Rajeev, then how is anything going to happen? She needs to go out and do her own exploring. Obviously, she tried to do that and ended up looked more delusional. So I don't hold her at fault that much.

But why are the creatives throwing us bits and pieces of recycled material? Same situations, same fiascos, same melodrama. I wanted a fresh love story, dammit!😭

I'm sorry if the post is too angry. I just needed to rant. I don't hate Amar and Divya, just the situations they're placed in.

Exactly my feelings too Sravi di.

I've been too frustrated with this show, lately. Like you said, we're getting the exact same thing as before, but AD just have new names. Sadly Amar hasn't been blessed with a mind of his own. 😛 After about a year, since the last fews weeks I'm not even excited to come on to read the updates.😆 And I haven't watched an episode in so long. There's no point anymore.😕

Im just waiting till AD's wedding. If it doesn't get better after that they I think it's really going to go much more downhill. 😕 God save this show. 😛

It's like being in a dream, Sravi... in a dream, we can't think for ourselves, or control our own actions - everything happens without us having any say over it.. and this is exactly what is going on with Amar, like you said!

I had said this before as well, I thought the whole point of Amar and Divya was to bring in a 'new, fresh, young couple' who could experience love and romance before marriage, unlike Sagar-Vidya, whom we only got to see after marriage.. we had these things in Benares, which worked like magic, but now they're in the Singh household.. and the focus has gone back to Sindoora one thing I have to say about Dulhann is that the focus is never, never consistent. At one point, we're showered with SV/AD scenes, at another, it's seeing Sindoora's face the whole time, or having to watch Chacha and Chachi do some kind of naatak in the house... keep the focus of the show, please....!

There will always be a positive outcome, but as you said, one also cant help but feel disappointed cos we're being shown with the same things again.. Divya was so much bolder when she first came into the house, what's happened now?! Speak up.. and Amar too! He spoke up in Benares as well.. both have succumbed, it seems, to the people in the household. Both have spoken up a few times, but then again, Sagar and Vidya also spoke up, a few times... I hope that same track doesnt continue, they need to be bold! 😳

I'm just tired of Sindoora, mainly... im so much more anxious to see Amar and Divya, together, ALONE, away from the house and everyone there.. that would be bliss 😳 all we can do is hope and pray and see what happens, I'm sure we wont be let down eventually, but the wait is nerve-wracking..!

So I haven't overreacted, right?

Even I haven't watched any episodes for ages. The last one I saw was the "Varna kya" scene, and just that, not even the whole episode.

This whole stress on Sindoora is actually besmirching AD for us. They have to be less intelligent so that the creatives can show Sindoora succeed. And I absolutely hate that. We know AD are capable of much more and we aren't allowed to witness it because of Sindoora.

I wud definetely like to see AD scenes but not away from the house all alone.....the type it was in Benares .....that i wud like to see . Just AD alone wud frankly bore me . I mean , watz there to see , just eye locks and smiles and two three expressions ....shy , naughty and direct , with a song lifted from a film in the background . Its so predictable and boring , and then the inevitable kheer which is irritating . After watching BMTD im never gonna eat kheer again in my life , i feel as if ill have indigestion watching Amar eat only kheer kheer kheer . I know many will not agree with me on this but these r my views.
The reincarnation theme is really terribly interesting but the creatives r not exploring it in an interesting manner and unecessarily using repeat ideas . I strongly feel they shud have carried it from the point where they left off when SV died .....hating Sindura and by now the revenge shud have begun . Even Sindura shud have been given a fresh look ....not just in her Victorian kinda get up but as a politician.....having rallies , meetings , boardroom decisions , in transit , her just being in the house constantly is really getting to everyone . All we see for two years is the damn house . Who wont be irritated , just the same staircase , same corridor and Sinduras rocking chair !
Another thing that really gets to me is Amar's incredible stupidity . If Sindura gets on the nerves so does his stubborn lack of common sense ....as Sagar too he was stupid and as Amar too he shows stubbornly same qualities ....blind worship of his sister and ignoring vital facts . I really cannot understand the hero worship of Amar that goes on in this forum , how can such a silly person who shows no smartness but lack of even basic common sense can be hoo haaed over like this ? All he has is some good looks ....its not as if he is a greek god or sumthing , and the first floor of his brain missing . He has doubted and doubted Vidya till one felt like killing him and was ultimately responsible for her death as he realised too late that his di was a monster . All my sympathies r towards Vidya alone not an ounce towards idiotic Amar who shows the same frustrating tendencies even in this birth . Frankly speaking , he needs a tight slap . And just as I am waiting to see Sindura once slapped real hard by sum one , I am truly waiting to see Amar getting slapped by sum one too . His inability to recognize the people on his side ....his shameful treatment of Aniket , not heeding even Bua , and now , of Rajeev and Mahua is infuriating .
The hope lies only in Divya , who shud show sum toughness , this time coupled with her literacy ....she is a lawyer , and simply fight Sindura .

Koolsadhu, I know I can't vouch for everyone in this forum, but most people are annoyed by Amar and his stupidity. No one is putting him on a pedestal and approving of all his mistakes. But I don't think I'd go so far as blaming Vidya's death on him. That's my opinion and you're entitled to your's.

I am sick and tired of Sindoora's rocking chair. You're right. She should go out and do something to make us believe that she is a politician. In all these twenty years, she hasn't grown as a person. I'm not expecting her to change for the better, but every person changes over time, right? But here she remains, plotting against the same two people. Does she seriously not get bored?

About the kheer, I don't mind it so much. But why not gulab jamun. Aren't they much more yummier? 😉

Sravi, I am exactly the same way, the last proper 'scene' I've seen is the 'varna kya' one like you, and also, just that scene as well... but my reason is particularly and mainly cos I havent had time to watch the episodes... in fact, I havent watched a proper full episode (newer) one, online atleast, for almost a month I think😳

And you know, just Sindoora's presence there now irritates me too! Do I sound mean? I hope not... but I really and truly am tired of her, really, really tired of her... when this show focuses on the two main people who actually make it matter, it does so well.. why not do that all the time?😳

No more crying, or letting anyone down... I want some spice! Some freshness, things that a young couple like Amar and Divya should do.. not sit in a huge house and mull over things that are going on😳 although them finding out abt their pasts is important, they can very well do that with just the two of them together.. no need for everyone else!😛 (I know i'm being slightly unrealistic, but oh well)
