Dhurandhar 2 is yet to release..No PR was ready for this scenario. Everyday I see a new strategy.

Bhool Bhulaiya vs Singham 3 was fun here. So much Kartik love 💕.

Forget about RS.RK fans need to worry about Yash and Ramayana. He has stardom,Rocky Bhai.Raavan will be Toxic- what a role..

I am expecting total silence over Toxic,by the usual suspects in the forum. Like I said, between a rock and a hard place.

Too much funnn...

MY Take : both are good at what they do...

..BUT I would say Ranveer is the better actor, whilst being also more versatile actor.

RK is a good actor, BUT is hugely praised (sometimes unjustly) and supported by BW groups/ walas for his acting range, which I see as much smaller than these PR and articles make it out to be.

I never see bashing of RK for ANY frivolous reasons, the way RS gets, nor does RK has to fight for movies like RS, all is getting handed to RK on platter - this to me shows that Kapoors still hold (mainly unspoken) hierarchy power in the BW circles.

Again, each of us has their fave and as such, bias is present in these 'who is better' threads. And that includes my bias, too. Or OPs. This thread might not incite civilised answers if 'certain posters' get into 'bashing mode'.

Glad it stayed civilised (up until now).

I cherish the differences between both skilled actors smiley1

Like AI tells: "Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor represent two distinct, premier acting styles in modern Bollywood:

Ranveer is defined by high-energy, transformative, and flamboyant performances, while Ranbir is characterized by restrained, subtle, and intense emotional realism.

Key Comparisons:

  • Acting Style: Ranveer is a "chameleon" who disappears into roles, often taking on loud or extreme characters. Ranbir is more introspective, focusing on nuanced, internal emotions.
  • Versatility: Ranveer often edges ahead in sheer range, shifting between mass entertainers (Simmba) and intense dramas (Bajirao Mastani). Ranbir excels in complex, flawed, and urban character studies.
  • Screen Presence: Ranveer brings a high-octane, theatrical energy. Ranbir is known for a more polished, natural, and subdued approach.
  • Filmography: Both have had major successes, with Ranveer delivering blockbusters like Padmaavat and Ram-Leela, while Ranbir has delivered critically acclaimed hits like Rockstar and Wake Up Sid.

Both actors are considered top-tier performers of their generation, with neither necessarily inferior, just different in their approach to their craft."

Both have my vivid interest smiley1

Both are my favorites and both are extremely good actors. Its like comparing Sridevi and Madhuri or SRK and Aamir. Everybody has their own style of acting and own ways of choosing roles. I am glad both are doing well in their careers and both are one of the successful actors of Bollywood.

I feel Ranveer works very hard to get into the character. And it comes naturally for Ranbir. Don't know much but I feel Ranbir can adapt very easily with less hard work - acting wise. (Not talking about looks of the character).

I watched Brahmastra, Animal, TJMM, Shamshera

In all 4, Ranbir was terrible

I watch his movies and am forever surprised that people believe he is a good actor, I wonder if they are basing their opinions on his old off beat movies like Barfi, Rockstar, WUS etc

But an actor evolves while Ranbir has regressed over time

I watched 83, Dhurandhar, JBZ, RARKPK

I didn't enjoy 83, ZBZ or Rocky Rani but couldn't find Ranveer lacking as an actor

But after Dhurandhar, I am shocked that he is compared with Ranbir and people say Ranbir is somehow better than him
