They were in sister schools. Same owners but who ran two different schools - one was boys only and the other was girls only.

That’s how while they technically were in the same school but they were never classmates. They have performed in one annual day together though.

I said that because Smriti was putting stress on the fact that they were not in same class, she was in girls school and sumeet in boys school. I mean a girl and boy can be in same school and class, why was she clarifying

Because that’s her quirk, one which she can’t help, not now not ever when it’s so deeply ingrained into her that it’s a reflex.

I can say this because my best friend,( girl and I literally have our birthdays a day apart) has this exact quirk. Our moms joked we both were friends even before we were born because we are neighbours. Our moms would walk around with their giant bellies full of the two of us, that’s how long we have known each other. But to date she has to clarify she went to an All girls school St. Mary’s and not the sister school her older brother attended St. Pious.

I couldn’t have known her for longer in this lifetime if I tried
